Kids Planet Smeeton Road

My baby started at Kids Planet Smeeton Road in April 2026 and has been in the younger of the 3 baby rooms. The rooms are a nice size and although this is a big nursery it doesn't feel over crowded like other nurseries I visited. The babies have a separate garden to play in which puts my mind at rest as this helps to keep little ones safe. The staff are caring, welcoming, friendly and help you feel at ease when leaving your little one for the 1st time. The nursery has recently been taken over by Kids Planet and they have had all new toys and equipment and the rooms look lovely. They have their own chef who cook all the food fresh and they follow a 3 weekly menu and have helped my baby during the weening stage. The nursery has an app where the staff put information about your child and send daily photos. My little one is now due to move to the next baby room as he is now crawling everywhere and we are looking forward to this next adventure.

My wife and I love Hunny Hive... Our daughter and son both attend, my daughter is now in her 4th year and final year and our son has just started 3 months ago. They love the staff, the activities, the food and the lovely atmosphere there is at Hunny Hive. I can speak highly enough of the staff and the passion and commitment they all have with every child. You can tell a huge difference in both our children after each day, learning and taking part in the wide range of activities on offer. Overall 5 stars. Well done.

We love Hunny Hive Kibworth! Every member of staff I have ever come across there has been friendly and professional but most importantly so kind and caring towards our little boy. They go out of their way to personalise the care they provide.

Our son absolutely loves it at The Honey Hive in Kibworth. He often doesn't want to come home! He has transitioned through the stages, really well from starting at 9 months old to being a fully-fledged toddler now aged 2. The setting offers varied, hands-on activities, healthy meals and a dedicated key person who is always on hand. The setting itself is spacious with a lovely outdoor space alongside age-appropriate rooms with plenty for little ones to explore. The app they use is fantastic and we receive daily updates and photos of our child. We are now beginning toilet training and the nursery has been very supportive with this, offering advice and encouraging our son while he is with them. They host regular out-of-hours events such as Easter Egg hunts and Halloween parties and the environment and staff are lovely. I would highly recommend The Honey Hive, we viewed multiple nurseries at the time and were both blown away by the standards they uphold.

My child settled into this nursery setting with such ease, which has been wonderful considering he did struggle at his previous nursery. The staff in the toddler room are fantastic. Feedback everyday is detailed and they really take on board any information I shared.

I leave the door each morning after drop off and feel at ease knowing my son would have had a safe and activity fun day, with regular app updates.

We are new to the area and really wanted to get our son into nursery before his baby brother arrived. The Hunny Hive has been so amazing and supportive to us and our son. He has really settled in well considering he's been going through a lot of change with moving house and a new baby brother to look after he's really come a long way. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and really put our minds at ease with how well he is cared for. We love that we get regular updates about his day and pictures of all the fun things he does throughout, The activities look great fun and he has learnt so much in such a short space of time.

Our first born joined Hunny Hive just over a year ago after moving to the area. As he was already settled in a different nursery, we were worried how he might handle the transition but the staff at Hunny Hive were fab, really welcoming, friendly and quick to get to know our boy. He loved his time in the toddler room and it was so lovely to see his confidence grow as a result of the staff working with him. He's recently moved into the pre-school room and is continuing to thrive. One of my favourite things about the nursery is how well all staff know the children, there's some members of staff who we've not met but they still know our little one from seeing him around which shows how caring the staff are. We also really appreciate the potty training workshops that the nursery host and how they arranged a first-aid training session.

My little boy has attended this nursery since June and is absolutely loving it. The staff members are friendly, kind and polite and I have always felt at ease leaving him in their care. They have a great online portal where they update you throughout the day in regards to what your child has been up to, what they have eaten, their sleep etc. I couldn't recommend this setting enough!

Highly recommend this nursery. All staff are welcoming and friendly, giving you a breakdown of how your child has got on.

Our son has been at this nursery for over a year and it has been amazing. The staff all know his name and he seems to really enjoy his time there. He has also learned some sign language which is very impressive as he's not yet able to speak very clearly.

My nephew has been attending The Hunny Hive Day Nursery for a few months now and I am so impressed with the care and attention that the staff give to all of the children. They have made us feel so welcome and my nephew goes into the setting with a big smile on his face every day! We looked around several settings and The Hunny Hive Day Nursery's environment outshines the rest.

Overall, we are really happy with the nursery and couldn't recommend them enough. I know he is well cared for and safe at nursery and has made some lovely friendships.

After searching the area for a nursery for my son, I am so happy that we found the Hunny Hive. Just being shown around the nursery, I was happy with what I had seen and was made to feel at home. My son has settled really well and is so happy. I can see why they have been awarded Outstanding by Ofsted.

I have been looking around nurseries in the local area for my daughter to start and I found that the Hunny Hive in Kibworth was by far the friendliest and informative one that I visited. I instantly felt at ease and comfortable when talking to the manager as she showed me around this delightful nursery. What could have been a daunting time for me is now something myself and my daughter will be looking forward to.
