My son had attended Cheeky Monkees for the last 8 years and finally left this summer as he heads to senior school. The staff have always looked after him extremely well and he loved his time there over the years. They ensure they treat every child individually and communicate well with parents regarding any issues or queries. I'd recommend them to family or friends if they were looking for somewhere for their child.

Cheeky Monkees have been amazing with my son since he started at just 9 months old. The team have helped him grow in confidence and develop so many skills, and he's come on leaps and bounds thanks to their care. He's always so happy to go in the mornings, which speaks volumes, and he's clearly formed wonderful bonds with the staff and other children. I really love how much time they spend outdoors exploring, and the resident rabbit is such a lovely touch - he talks about it all the time! The nursery has such a warm, welcoming feel, and it's clear they genuinely care about each child as an individual. I'm forever grateful for the support they've given both him and us as parents. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cheeky Monkees to anyone looking for a nurturing and fun environment for their little one.

My daughter attended from January to July 2025. From first viewing the nursery it felt really warm and inviting , the staff were friendly and very approachable. They made me feel like I was part of a their family. The care and education my daughter received was excellent. The staff go out of their way to ensure the children have the best experiences whilst at nursery. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff and management deal with any issues or concerns professionally and promptly. My little girl has flourished whilst on the care of Cheeky monkeys I and can't thank them enough .

Cheeky Monkees is an amazing nursery for your little one. My son first came for the play group , then he joined the day nursery the following April. The staff are amazing with the children and build strong relationships with them so they know their likes and dislikes. They all treat the children as if they were their own. They are all very approachable and always smiling, they will update the app with what your child does throughout the day along with pictures. My son loves all of the staff there which makes him enjoy going to nursery everyday. He has came such a long way since starting and I will be gutted when he leaves. Please do consider these as your choice of nursery!

My little one has been attending since Easter, he loves the food and snacks and has made friends. He is loving the outside space especially since the weather has improved. I feel confident leaving him with the staff, they have got to know him well, he is happy to go to them at drop off, the regular updates and photos throughout the day are lovely to see

Brilliant Nursery - Highly Recommend!

Three of my children have gone to this nursery over the last 12 years and we've always had a great experience. The care they've received has been fantastic - the staff are so lovely, supportive, and really take the time to get to know each child.

My children have all loved coming here and have made so many happy memories. The nursery has been amazing at helping them build confidence and learn all the key early years skills in a fun and friendly environment.

It's such a warm and welcoming place - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other families!

My child has been going to Cheeky Monkees for almost a year now, and the change I have seen in her during this time is amazing. She really has come on leaps and bounds in every development aspect possible. She has created amazing bonds with all the staff and now is at the point where she doesn't want to come home as she wants to stay with them all as they have become a big part of her life. Thank you to all the girls for helping my girl grow and being a safe place for her.

Our daughter has been going to Cheeky Monkees at Billingham since she was 9 months old and is now 2 and a half, and I cannot praise the nursery highly enough. The staff are warm, gentle and caring, and have so much love to give the children. The environment is brilliant, and our daughter particularly loves the outdoor space and climbing frame! There are so many activities that they do with the children to help them learn and develop. I'd highly recommend this nursery.

The staff at Cheeky Monkees are absolutely fantastic! They always go above and beyond for not only the children in their care but the parents as well. The support and kindness they show is second to none. My little girl has achieved so much since she started at Cheeky Monkees 3 years ago and has made fantastic friendships and bonds with both the children and staff. I'm soon to start my little boy with them and couldn't think of a better, safer place for him to grow and learn. The staff with Cheeky Monkees should be so proud of what a fantastic team they are and all that they achieve for the children in their care.

Please consider Cheeky Monkees Day Nursery as your first choice! After being a looked-after child, my granddaughter came to live with me permanently from age 9 months. I was nervous about how she would settle at nursery, having literally been with me 24 hours a day prior to starting. I needn’t have worried. She is absolutely thriving and I put that entirely down to the manager and the other absolute gems that work there. It’s clear to me, every member of the team is invested in every single child that attends. The children are happy, content, always engaged in an activity that is of particular interest to them. The nursery has a uniqueness in that it’s like a home from home for the children with the advantage of structure and obviously highly trained and experienced practitioners who clearly view their roles as a vocation rather than merely work. I’m hoping this encourages other prospective parents who are going through the process of finding a nursery to consider making a visit to this one!

Really lovely nursery, amazing staff who are so helpful and great with my son. I was not looking forward to my little boy starting nursery, he hadn’t left my side since he was born and he cried the first couple of times I had to leave him. The staff were fantastic with both me and him, he settled quickly and really well, he loves going into nursery always with no tears as he is really settled there. He has made friends his own age and has made huge leaps in his development since starting there. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Cheeky Monkees Day Nursery go above and beyond to provide the care and support my daughter requires. My daughter has additional needs and can be extremely difficult to care for at times. The staff are aware of her needs and constantly go that extra mile to keep her safe and happy. My daughter is kept engaged while at nursery, receiving amazing care with a massive option of activities to keep even her entertained.

The nursery goes above and beyond to support families enabling myself and my husband to continue to work full-time. Both my sons have gained confidence with being in this setting. They do their utmost to help with short notice childcare when needed. All the staff at the nursery give 100% to working with all the children and making their day fun.

My daughter loves coming to nursery, she is almost 2 and as soon as we ask about nursery she mentions the girls that work there, she is always on the go and loves doing all the activities at nursery. I wanted her to go to nursery so that she could mix with other children of her own age before she starts school, and she plays with a range of ages at nursery and enjoys playing with anyone! All the girls are great, and are approachable for me to speak to if I ever have any issues or problems.

My daughter has been fussy with food but she gets home cooked meals and has developed a better taste and is now not fussy.

With everything going on at the moment Cheeky Monkees have been absolutely amazing and helpful! I am a single parent and without them I wouldn’t be able to go out to work during this time and provide for my kids so I would highly recommended them as an extension of mine and the kids family!

Wouldn't go to any other nursery.
