Our daughter has absolutely loved her time at Weston Green School Little Prep. The staff are all warm, nurturing and organised - it's clear a lot of effort goes in to planning fun and varied days for the children. Not only is it a safe, clean and well run setting for child care, it also serves as an excellent starting point for our daughter's introduction to learning- she can't wait to start reception in September!

Overall, I would highly recommend it.

Weston Green is a wonderful place to be for the kids. The setting is clean, with plenty of activities to educate the children. It is a lovely nurturing place which is so important for young kids to thrive and learn. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to send their children there.

The staff at WGS have guided my daughter into a confident and capable child. The care and attention that is provided to each child from kindergarten and on, ensures that my child's progress and happiness is central to her education. I am sincerely thankful to WGS for being a fantastic school!

Both my daughters have attended Kindergarten at Weston Green School for a year. My eldest now being in year 1, and my youngest in her last 2 terms of Kindergarten at the school. The opportunities and provisions the staff provide is outstanding. They are treated as individuals with tasks being adapted to the interests of that child. The environment is very kind and caring and my daughters enjoy attending Kindergarten in a daily basis. It has been the perfect introduction and transition into school life.

My daughters absolutely loved their year in Kindergarten at Weston Green School. From day one, they were made to feel so welcome both by the teaching staff at the school gate and in the classroom as well as by the other school children. It took them no time at all to settle in due to this friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the pastoral care is second to none. The Kindergarten teachers strike a great balance between playtime for the children as well as learning phonics and numbers in a fun way. Other activities undertaken include Forest School, Games sessions, Yoga, Cookery and Art. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter loved her time in the Weston Green Kindergarten, it set her up really well for school and we think she learned a bit more than she would have done staying in nursery too, but most importantly she loved it.

Weston Green is a fabulous school. It is extremely friendly and well-rounded. The teachers are brilliant and have clearly thought about how to help children progress and develop to the best of their abilities within a relaxed environment. The settling in - from magnets of the class teacher over the holidays, to stay-and-play sessions have been great. My son would be there all day every day if he could!

Until our daughter started at Weston Green School, she had never attended nursery/childminder, nor had she ever been left with anyone but myself or my husband, so we were very nervous about her starting Kindergarten, and so was she. Well what can I say. I can not find enough words to praise how wonderful, warm and professional all the staff of Weston Green is! I never thought this could be possible for a child to settle in so fast. Not a single tear. The staff made our child feel so comfortable so quickly and brought out so much confidence in her, who knew! We are so impressed with everything they do every day. Teachers in Weston Green are incredibly warm, passionate and charismatic and when you meet them, you straight away know your child is in great hands. The whole school is extremely nurturing. Lovely outside area, kids love it. Fantastic activities all day, kids have so much fun. They also do yoga and forest school. Our child never wants to leave. Great teacher-child ratio is obviously another huge advantage. Very good food.

Weston Green School has given my son the best start to his learning career. My son loves kindergarten so much he is willing to drive an hour to and from to get there. It’s a fun and dynamic environment for young minds and we are extremely pleased thus far.

Weston Green kindergarten is a wonderful environment for any child to grow, develop and thrive. My son's social skills have flourished, his vocabulary is outstanding for his age group and he is a happy and well-adjusted child. 'Learning with joyful enthusiasm' is part of the school's ethos and this statement couldn't be more true. Every day he comes home excited about something new that he's learned, which is always discovered in an interesting way. For example, animal lifecycles were demonstrated tangibly through the chicks brought to the school as the children watched them hatch in front of their eyes, or the caterpillar that grew into a butterfly in the classroom. Forest school teaches him about plants, bugs and teamwork and at four and a half years old he practices mindfulness through yoga even sitting still to meditate with his eyes closed. He once read his favourite book to a whole classroom of older reception children all by himself and with such confidence.

Our child has been through the Weston Green School Kinder programme and now is in Reception. What sold us on the school was the warmth and outstanding pastoral care that is evident from the moment you step into the school. Our child has thrived from day one in this setting and seeing his confidence grow has been our biggest joy. The teachers and staff have made a real effort to get to know him as an individual.

Weston Green School is also special because of the extra opportunities our child is given; academics and learning, of course, are important, but so are opportunities for play, artistic expression and understanding and respecting nature. Throughout the week, our little one enjoys French, Music, Yoga, Cooking, Dance and Forest School, all contributing to nurturing him holistically and building his skill set and so naturally also his confidence.

From the moment you walk through the gates where you are greeted daily with a warm "hello," you are made to feel welcome, respected and valued. We couldn't be happier!

Weston Green is a truly special place. Walking into the school each morning feels like having a big hug from an old friend. It is like home from home for my daughter, who absolutely loves going there. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We have watched our daughter grow and develop such a thirst for learning since she has been there. Forest school and Yoga are without a doubt her favourite activities! We cannot thank the staff enough for all they are do. They are an amazing team who have managed her dietary requirements and health issues with such care and attention. We really couldn't ask for more!

Wonderful kindergarten, nurturing environment, small children numbers and extremely caring staff. Children experience a broad range of learning opportunities including yoga and forest school. Highly recommended.
