Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
We are very happy with N East Dulwich and the entire time there. From day one, the staff have been so attentive and have made a huge effort to get to personally know the little ones and families. As it was brand new in September this year, many of the babies were doing their settling in period all together
and it was an awful lot of work. But the staff and management team never stopped smiling and it took no time at all for our daughter to settle in. The communication and daily updates are excellent, and it's great to have our daughter coming home with new skills and interests on a weekly basis. The food menu is nutritious and varied, and the outdoor space is far greater than any alternative we have seen in the area. Cannot recommend enough.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My daughter started at N East Dulwich when it first opened when she was 14 months old. I have been thoroughly impressed with them. The building itself is very impressive - and the facilities are top class. The rooms are light and airy and have a homely feel. The garden is big, well maintained and the
children do make use of it daily and have a lovely time. There is an art room which my daughter adores and they go there regularly as well. The food is varied and well balanced. The staff are so lovely and really have taken the time to get to know our family - it's lovely she has a key person but she also has a lovely relationship with the other staff. They are very kind and nurturing - I couldn't have asked for more! She's also learning a lot, and the curriculum is thorough. The daily updates are great and focus on her learning. My daughter also has a condition and needs daily medication which they have adapted to very well and we have had no issues. Honestly, a gold standard nursery!

Current Review Score: 8.2 (8.180)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.2 (8.180) out of 10 for N Family Club - East Dulwich is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 2 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.2 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for N Family Club - East Dulwich is calculated as follows: ( (24 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 24 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.18 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for N Family Club - East Dulwich is based on 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 = 3.125
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 181 number of registered child places is 36.2. 2 Positive Reviews ÷ 36.2 = 0.055
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2025

Hi, my name is Terry, and I am proud to have built a deeply fulfilling career in early years education over the past 19 years. I began my journey as an apprentice and quickly discovered the profound impact that high-quality early education can have, not only on children, but also on the families and the teams who support them. This experience sparked my passion for ensuring that every child receives the very best start in life.

One of the most meaningful parts of my role is building strong, trusting relationships with families. I believe that genuine partnership with parents is essential, and I strive to create an environment where they feel heard, supported, and valued every step of the way.

Throughout my career, I’ve also developed a deep commitment to coaching and developing colleagues. Supporting the team’s well-being and mental health is central to my leadership approach. I believe that a workplace can only thrive when communication is open, constructive feedback is welcomed, and every individual feels respected and empowered.

I lead by recognising and nurturing people’s passions, talents, and unique strengths. Helping others grow, achieve their goals, and find confidence in their own journey is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. A strong, supported, and inspired team is the foundation of exceptional care and it’s something I value immensely.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2025

Hi, my name is Paige, I am a warm, vibrant, and dedicated early years professional, with seven years of experience growing and progressing within the sector. I am currently completing my Level 5 Diploma in CIPD to strengthen my skills in people management and leadership, ensuring I can continue to support and uplift those around me.

Creativity, positivity, and enthusiasm shape the way I work. I believe that children flourish when the adults supporting them feel valued, encouraged, and genuinely cared for. Because of this, the well-being of my team is incredibly important to me. I aim to create an environment where everyone feels confident, appreciated, and able to bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.

I thrive on making people feel happy and comfortable, and I’m always up for creating joyful moments with those around me.

Job Title: Front of House Manager Joined: 2025

Hey, my name is Rocio. I have spent many years working in early years education, taking on a variety of roles that have allowed me to grow both professionally and personally.

I’ve worked closely with children of all ages, supporting their development and building strong, nurturing relationships with them. I’ve also been part of leadership teams, where I gained a deeper understanding of how a setting operates, how teams thrive, and how families experience the day-to-day life of a nursery.

This combination of experiences is what makes the Front of House role feel like the perfect fit for me. I know how important it is for families to feel welcomed, reassured, and informed from the moment they walk through the door.

I understand what practitioners need behind the scenes, and I appreciate the level of organisation required to keep everything running smoothly. Building positive relationships with families comes naturally to me, and I take pride in creating an environment where they feel listened to and genuinely supported.
