The Redbrick Day Nursery – Kingswell Road is a warm, welcoming, purpose-built nursery providing high-quality care and education for children from birth to school age. The nursery is led by an experienced management team with a strong track record in delivering high-quality early years provision. Redbrick’s established ethos places the child at the centre of practice, creating a nurturing environment where children are supported to flourish.
Learning is inspired by awe and wonder. A carefully planned curriculum supports each child’s natural curiosity, encouraging independence, creativity, and a love of learning, while recognising that every child develops at their own pace.
Open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, all year round, the nursery supports working families and offers a before and after school club for children attending Kingsthorpe Primary Village School, providing continuity of care in a familiar setting.
Children are cared for by a skilled team of early years professionals, all paediatric first aid trained and committed to supporting children’s wellbeing and development. Strong partnerships with parents are actively promoted to ensure each child’s individual needs are fully supported.
The nursery features secure outdoor gardens, well-equipped rooms, and CCTV throughout. Outdoor learning is an important part of daily practice, promoting physical development, confidence, and a connection with nature. Nutritious meals are provided daily, with nappies and wipes included.

My daughter started in September and has enjoyed every minute of her time there. The staff are amazing and will do anything to help. They go above and beyond.
She has come on so well with all aspects of life. So pleased we made the choice to send our daughter to this nursery.

Overall Experience
Fantastic, friendly staff. Very helpful and mostly my child is very happy to go there and he always leaves with a smile on his face which only indicates he had a good day. He has learnt new words, new songs at the nursery and made new friends too. Highly recommend this place!

The staff are absolutely brilliant. They work closely to ensure my child is safe and happy at nursery. They communicate with me at the end of each day to tell me what my child has been up to and have helped me with questions I have had about his development. My son loves going to The Red Brick. He has formed a lovely bond with all the staff around him. It is a lovely setting with lots of educational toys for the children to choose from.

Kingswell Road Nursery is set back from the road in an older part of Kingsthorpe village, it is very easily accessible and there is usually roadside parking out the front. The building inside is very clean and has been refurbished to a high standard. The waiting room past the front door is decorated with seasonal items and makes for a very professional yet inviting entrance. The staff are very welcoming and make you feel at ease, and it feels like a home from home. The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard but are full of lots of things to look at and play with. The staff have paid a lot of attention to detail when setting the nursery up and it's absolutely beautiful in all three rooms. Each different room full of lots of age-appropriate things to play with, but still offering a natural and earthy feel which is what we were looking for. The outside area has a mud kitchen and play area and activity stations. Amazing nursery and lovely staff!
