All A-Board Day Nursery is a private, family owned nursery, Ofsted registered and catering for children from age 4 months until school starting age of 5, with dedicated environments to suit all age groups and development.

It is a term time nursery but also offers a holiday club for the nursery children, along with children that do not attend All A-Board Day Nursery. There is an additional Tiny Town role play village with 10 play areas and a garden, the nursery children have dedicated sessions alongside staff planned learning to use it daily.

All A-Board Day Nursery is a two room setting, divided into separate learning areas to benefit each age group of children. They thrive on school leavers being school ready and use a phonics programme to help this, along with following EYFS framework.

All A-Board Day Nursery have a fantastic team of Nursery Practitioners who are passionate, committed, caring and have a loving approach to childcare which is clear in the relationship between the children and staff. All staff within the setting are in receipt of an enhanced DBS check and are trained in safeguarding, they must hold a first aid qualification and an acceptable childcare qualification in level 2 or above.

The staffing ratio in the nursery is as following:
0 - 2 years: 1 carer per 3 children
2 - 3 years: 1 carer per 4 children
3 - 5 years: 1 carer per 8 children

When viewing nurseries for my little boy he wouldn't leave my or my partner's side at all and I've always been worried about him going to nursery due to asthma and milk allergy. When we viewed All A-Board he ran straight off and played in the viewing, even sat down to eat with all the children, we knew
that was the one for him and he has thrived ever since. He has speech and language and his speech has come on so much and they are fantastic always coming home with artwork, they are amazing with the children and so glad we found this nursery for our child. You are kept updated all day through the app and are so helpful also the staff are amazing and communication is key and they communicate very well with parents.

My son joined All A-Board Nursery in September and he absolutely loves everything about it
He enjoys his daily visit to tiny town and all the staff are amazing.
He has made lots of lovely friends and we can't wait for my youngest son to join the nursery.

All A-Board Nursery is a lovely welcoming nursery, my daughter loves it and is so happy I chose that nursery. She has settled very well into it and has made some lovely friends. We love the updates daily and the communication is amazing. Can't wait for what 2025 brings for my daughter.

My son started nursery school in March this year and it has changed him a lot. He is much more confident and open than before. The staff at the nursery have been very supportive since his first day. I truly believe that sending him to nursery school was a great decision.

We are so grateful to have found such a truly special nursery setting for our 2-year-old daughter, who started in September this year. Not only is the nursery one of the most beautifully equipped in the entire area, with the addition of the Tiny Town, it is truly one of a kind. The manager has created
an outstanding nursery, her staff and management provide brilliant care on virtually a one-to-one basis. I receive daily updates and my daughter is always with a teacher, engaged in a brilliant learning/play activity. At All Aboard you really are giving your child a personal setting. My daughter is thriving, the staff see her ability and nurture it. The staff care so much about the children, there is not a doubt in my mind that this is the best setting for my child to be educated and cared for. I would recommend this nursery to anyone reluctant to leave their child, whether outgoing or anxious, they cater to all personalities. So grateful to the team for creating such a special place!

Our daughter started All A-Board in September, she settled in straight away which was so lovely and reassuring for us as parents. The staff have been amazing and go above and beyond for the children and parents. Our daughter is so happy there and looks forward to nursery where she has made lots of lovely

My son has been attending All A-Board Day Nursery since September, and it's been a wonderful experience. Every morning, he eagerly rushes in, excited to start his day. When I pick him up, he's full of stories about the fun he's had. As a parent, it's incredibly heartwarming to see him so happy and engaged.
In
just two short months, he's already made significant progress, learning to count to ten in Spanish. His confidence has blossomed, and I'm so grateful for the nurturing environment at All A-Board. The staff are fantastic, providing a caring and stimulating atmosphere for the children. We're so pleased with our choice and look forward to enrolling our younger son when the time comes. Thank you for creating such a safe and joyful space for our children.

Such a fantastic nursery couldn't ask for better.
The staff go above and beyond so friendly and caring granddaughter loves them.
I would definitely recommend to other people.
Standards are very high.
Cleanliness is to a high standard.
Learning aspects are fabulous granddaughter has learnt a lot.

My son has just finished for the summer at All A-Board Nursery. I can honestly say he has loved every day here. Every morning we are greeted with warm, friendly smiles. We are updated continuously throughout the day which is so lovely to follow their daily fun! The quality of toys and resources at All
A-Aboard are amazing and the director and the team are always maintaining them to the best standard. The nursery is always very clean! The children have lots of space to explore, learn and play including indoor/outdoor and the use of Tiny Town throughout the week which my son loves! When I collect my son at the end of the day all the children look so happy and it really is so lovely to see them all having such a great day. Thank you All A-Board Nursery!

My child is so happy here. We moved from another nursery and he settled so quickly thanks to the staff.
The staff are lovely and very caring. They really listen to any concerns and worries about your child and are very inclusive of any additional needs.
My son is an extremely fussy eater but is happy
to try new foods at this nursery.
My son loves using Tiny Town during the day and has made really good progress since joining All-A-Board in April. Your child will feel like part of a family rather than just a number like at some of the larger day nurseries. I wish I'd found All-A-Aboard Day Nursery sooner.

I never realised what a huge decision finding a nursery for my son would be.
I knew exactly what I was looking for and not looking for. I visited many nurseries, utterly horrible places some of them. Losing heart I visited All A-Board and as soon as I walked through the door I knew I'd found it.
It's
a bright open nursery, so clean with beautiful well looked-after toys and equipment. I was so pleased to see all the children happy and engaged. The staff were friendly and relaxed. It just felt so welcoming and safe.
While it might not have a huge garden, what they do have is a secure enclosed space that's smartly used to engage the children safely while outside. And no other nursery that I visited has a Tiny Town attached. What a truly amazing space that is.
My son has SEN needs and was welcomed without any hesitation. I know he's getting all the support he needs whilst being treated as an equal.
I wouldn't leave my son anywhere but the best. And All A-Board is the best

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. They supported my son at the start when he was a little upset at leaving me. I always felt that he was in safe hands and all the staff cared about him. Communication is another strength, with updates throughout each day, a chance to talk to staff at drop off and
pick up as well as email correspondence or phone calls. The team also accommodated additional days I needed to use the nursery at short notice (if they had space) which really helped me out. Nursery children have an opportunity to use Tiny Town next door which they all love. To top it off the nursery area is modern, immaculate and very clean. I would recommend this nursery to everyone (it was my top choice out of many nurseries I viewed).

Absolutely marvellous nursery! My child has been attending All A-Board since January, they always come home happy, telling me about their day and the new things they've learnt. All the staff are approachable, friendly and supportive. Each development review my son has shown significant progress from
the one before, the key worker is always positive about his achievements and steps forward, demonstrating the good relationship they have built with my child. They have a great Tiny Town attached to the nursery, that the children get to use every day, promoting lots of imaginative play, as well as an outdoor area which is a fantastic set-up for an active child like mine. Every week they do a variety of activities, including cooking classes. My child has already been on 3 educational trips which he thoroughly enjoyed. Great variety of food given each week, I honestly can't fault this nursery! Such a nice environment for my child to learn and grow.

Owning a day nursery has always been a dream of mine, as a mum of one daughter I am passionate about bringing a safe, homely and enriching environment to our setting.


I thrive off our wonderful parent reviews, word of mouth recommendations and our children's amazing behaviours and level of learning in our setting.


I work closely with all of my staff to ensure a safe environment, our staff are a very warm and friendly team, ensuring happiness in all areas when being in our setting.

Hollie

Hollie Stokoe

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2024

Hollie has been with us from the start of our journey at All A-Board Day Nursery, including pre registration with Ofsted Hollie gave her upmost passion and dedication into creating a safe place for our children to grow and develop alongside Olivia (nursery owner).


Hollie has worked with children since school leaving age and is a level 3 qualified practitioner, she also holds a paediatric first aid certificate and a clear enhanced DBS and many other training courses accomplished within the early years sector.


Hollie is a full time staff member at All A-Board Day Nursery and is here to answer questions and queries, as well as help with enquiries.

Meg

Meg Mitchell

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2024

Meg is a kind, caring and passionate part of our All A-Board team, she has been our deputy manager since opening in January 2024 and is level 3 qualified, holding an enhanced DBS check and a paediatric first aid certificate, as well as a safeguarding level 3 qualification.


Meg has previously worked as a nanny for 6 years previously and has worked closely with children for her career. Meg has a close relationship with Hollie our manager, also works closely alongside Olivia (nursery owner) to ensure a smooth running daily routine and a safe environment for our children.

Georgina

Georgina Palmer-Drury

Job Title: SENCO Joined: 2024

At All A-Board Day Nursery we are extremely lucky to have a very dedicated, caring and kind SENCO. Georgina works 3 days a week to ensure all children are supported in their learning journey daily.


She is a fully trained SENCO and holds a clear enhanced DBS check, paediatric first aid and a great relationship with outside agencies to support all children with additional needs.


Georgina is a mum of two boys and also has worked 1:1 with SEND children and in nursery settings for her whole life. She has been with us since we opened and has great relationships with parents and carers, as well as her key children.

Caroline

Caroline Kennor

Job Title: Practitioner Joined: 2024

Caroline is a loved part of our team at All A-Board Day Nursery, she is a mum of one son who also attends our setting.


Caroline is level 3 qualified in childcare and holds paediatric first aid training, enhanced DBS check and many childcare early years sector training qualifications. She has also worked in the private nanny sector for many years for a family she holds close to her heart.


Caroline has a great bond with all children at the setting, as well as the staff that she works alongside daily. Caroline is passionate and dedicated to her role as a practitioner.

Keelie is a level 3 qualified member of staff, Keelie works part time with us at All A - Board, offering her additional support on our busier nursery days.


As a mum herself, Keelie is a kind, devoted staff member who is always willing to offer a calming nurturing reassurance to the children.


Keelie enjoys contributing to the daily activities, along with supporting her key children's development, working in small groups to achieve positive results .
