Kings Castle Lodge

My two children have attended kings castle from the ages of 2-4 years old and I honestly couldn't have wished for a more lovely setting. From day one the staff have been supportive, friendly and my girls have absolutely loved their time at kings castle and the Lodge. We'll be so sad to leave but forever grateful to their wonderful start in nursery and pre school ready to take their next steps. Would highly recommend.

Our daughter has been attending for over a year and loves it! She gets to go outside and explore and has learned to brave the elements! Staff are welcoming and the setting is especially good for potty training with mini loos.

Our daughter has been attending this nursery from 9months of age up until now, ready for school. Staff had been incredibly supportive, helpful and dedicated throughout our journey with Kings. Thank you each and everyone for guiding our child so thoughtfully and patiently through her journey of early years.

Amazing Teachers, amazing school activities and learning, everyday was exciting getting to know what my son had learnt about at school. He has developed so well as a young boy, he is excelling in all aspects and I cant help but attribute alot of his accomplishments to the school.

We are grateful for the encouragement and dedication. She's made special memories, formed brilliant friendships. She leaves a happy confident little girl

Both of my sons have attended King's Castle Montessori and we have always been very pleased with the provision. My son is always happy to go into nursery and start his day with his teachers and friends. He also absolutely loves his time at the lodge and the chance to take part in outdoor learning. There are always extra exciting experiences planned as well such as dance/ music classes or meeting llamas! The nursery has prepared my boys really well for school too. They are both very independent and they have learnt to dress themselves with ease which is so useful on busy school run mornings. I know my youngest son will settle in well when he makes the transition to primary school.

Our children have attended for nearly two years and absolutely love it. Even our older child chooses to go twice a week because he enjoys the sessions so much.

The setting provides wonderful outdoor experiences, including nature walks and activities using natural wooden materials. The children spend plenty of time in the garden and benefit from a spacious indoor area. They also organise "bring your own bike" or balance bike days, where the children ride around the field-something our children really enjoy.

The teachers are caring, attentive, and supportive of each child's individual needs. We also appreciate the flexibility of combining the main nursery with the lodge, which is conveniently nearby.

Overall, we are very happy and highly recommend King's Castle Montessori Lodge.

I love the Lodge as part of our Sons overall nursery experience. He has a day there a week and outdoor play and learning is a real focus. They learn about nature, go for walks as well as other nursery activities and garden play. The staff are lovely & my son always looks forward to his day at Kings Lodge.

My son LOVES The Lodge! He loves outdoor learning, exploring nature and being active. I really enjoy hearing about his learning through his own words, telling me about berries and flowers, the changes in the season. The staff are very friendly. As well as daily updates via the app, the staff offer verbal feedback at pick up too. They understand my son and know exactly what he has done during the day, as the staff are extremely hands on. They pick fruit locally and cook it, along with visits to local libraries, towns and nursing homes. It offers a true sense of community, which as a parent, I really appreciate. I highly recommend The Lodge, and so does my son!

Our son has been at Kings Castle since he was a baby, and we honestly couldn't be happier with the care and support he has received throughout his time there. From the very beginning, the team has been warm, nurturing, and genuinely invested in his wellbeing and development.

The staff have created a safe and stimulating environment for him to grow in & supported him through every stage - helping him build confidence, independence, and so many important life skills. We've seen huge progress in his communication, social skills, and curiosity about the world around him.

One of the highlights for our son has been the nature-based forest school, "The Lodge." He absolutely loves it. The outdoor learning experiences have been wonderful for him - encouraging exploration and a real connection with nature.

My child was 2 days at the lodge and thrived in the forest setting style. Calum was an amazing communicator and so nice to my son really made him feel like he was with family all the time. The whole team were great there and we are really sad that its now come to an end with our son going onto big school.

Highly recommend Kings Castle Lodge, our daughter has been going for about 2 years and she absolutely loves it. The staff are brilliant and there's a really low turnover so we know everyone there and they build brilliant bonds with the kids. They always go out and about on walks and adventures and do a real variety of activities both indoors and outdoors. We've been invited to some lovely stay and play sessions there too - they just create a brilliant environment for the whole family. We are really grateful to have been able to send our daughter here and highly recommend it

The day at the lodge is such a great extra opportunity for her, they spend lots of time in nature and practicing physical skills. It's in a great location and feels like a forest school almost as they get to go out on walks, learn about nature and wildlife etc. She loves attending the Lodge, the team there are wonderful and she has such happy days!

My child has loved Lodge since it opened. The team there really teach children how to look after our planet Earth. The tree climbs, nature walks and exploring outdoors have been a big favourite for her. She will definitely miss the Lodge when going to school in September. Thank you all.

Our child is thriving thanks to Kings Castle Montessori Day Nursery and its offsite Lodge. He attends the lodge once a week and is always happy and excited to get there in the mornings. The staff are extremely friendly and interested in my child's well-being and developing his skills.

I can't recommend Kings Castle enough. Both my children have attended from the ages of 1 to school leavers. I have always been confident that my children are happy, safe and creatively stimulated. It is a wonderful welcoming setting and all staff members are absolutely fantastic with the children. Warm and professional. Would 100% recommend this setting.

Really happy with my child's time spent at Kings Castle Lodge. Focus is on nature and learning, being outdoors, there are activities within the garden area, as well as nature, walks once/ twice a day to the surroundings. Lots of learning about insects, birds, trees, flowers etc. I believe there are herbs/ strawberries etc that have been planted that the children are involved with. Staff are very approachable, caring and involved in their roles, and provide updates in person at pickup as well as updates through the day on the app - photos/ posts. Very happy, and thoroughly recommend it. Healthy snacks are provided that the children are involved with preparing.

My daughter loves her days at the Lodge and wants to go everyday! They put on a really good selection of activities and we all love that she's outside a lot, adventuring! We get good feedback at the end of the day and love seeing the photos of the fun they have.

We would definitely recommend the lodge and Kings Castle to anyone!
