Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Stevenage

My daughter has been attending this nursery for the past year, after we moved from London. Before coming here, she attended three different nurseries, but unfortunately we were not happy with our experiences, as she often came home with severe nappy rash.

Since joining this nursery, we have had none of those concerns. She is happy, well cared for, and genuinely loves coming to nursery every day. It is clear that the staff and management truly care about the children and are passionate about what they do. They are kind, attentive, and always welcoming.

I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for their child.

Amber the SENCO has been absolutely fantastic and so accommodating with our son's speech and language requirements. The team at MonkeyPuzzle do their upmost to help encourage him to try to speak, and the excitement they have when he says a word shows me that they share the passion and enthusiasm with the children!

If there is ever a hiccup, they are very responsive, respectful and accommodating. To get this resolved as quickly and as best as they can! I can't fault them! Thank you

We have had nothing but the most incredible experience with our daughter attending Monkey Puzzle! All staff are warm, caring and friendly and invested in each child as an individual. Management are kind, accommodating and available. The activities are engaging daily and contributing to our daughters development, the key workers are going above and beyond to support our daughters development and keeping us updated every step of the way!

We moved our 3 year old son from a childminder to Monkey Puzzle nursery last year, and we're so glad we did. He absolutely loves it here. Always talks about the activities he did in the day, and he loves the big garden. Communication with the staff has been brilliant, and they are all so friendly, supportive and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend Monkey Puzzle to anyone.

When my daughter started nursery last year, I was initially quite sceptical, as I had always been her main carer and found it difficult to place my trust in others. She began nursery at the age of three, which felt quite late to me. However, during our settling-in session, I was immediately reassured by the kindness and care shown by the staff, as well as their clear passion for their work.

Once my daughter started attending part-time, I could see how much she was enjoying her experience. She would happily tell me about her day, the activities she had taken part in, and how kind and supportive the staff were. It was lovely to hear how much fun she was having and how much she enjoyed playing with the other children.

I cannot fault the staff in any way. The food provided is healthy and well prepared, and I am extremely glad that I took the leap of faith and enrolled my daughter at Monkey Puzzle Stevenage. Thank you to everyone for making this such a positive experience for us both.

I'm so impressed with Monkey Puzzle. My child has attended for a year and we plan to stay until they start school at 4. After visiting several nurseries, Monkey Puzzle stood out for its reasonable costs, spacious environment and high-quality care.

The team are attentive, caring and energetic, and every key worker has had my child's best interests at heart. Development reviews are thorough and well documented on the app, with great knowledge sharing and regular updates for parents. Communication is excellent - queries are answered quickly, and the team have been incredibly supportive with changes to our working hours and managing allergies.

The settling-in period was tough, but staff went above and beyond to help us both feel at ease. Longer opening hours support our full-time work, security is taken seriously, and the app makes everything simple. A truly 5-star nursery.

An amazing nursery! Our son, currently 14-months, has been going to this nursery since he was 9 months old. We are so happy with how it's going. All of the nursery practitioners are fantastic (specific shout out to Sheena and Enida) and he absolutely loves all of them. His development has been outstanding, and we put that down to the activities they do with the children and the environment. We feel safe and happy leaving our son there.

We cannot recommend this nursery enough. Keep up the great work!

They go above and beyond to help from keeping track of everything eaten/medicine given in our case and give a nice summary of how each day has been on pickup, and all staff seem to genuinely care about the children and their welfare.

Monkey Puzzles is an incredible nursery. Our child's development has come of leaps and bounds since starting and she is beginning to find her personality. It's amazing to see how the staff (all first aid trained) genuinely care about our child's well-being and encourage her to explore and find her independence whilst also safeguarding her simultaneously. The app they use to update parents of their child's day to day activities (including feeds and nappy changes) is so beneficial in relieving any stress or anxiety that may occur in the parents. The food/nutrition offered for the children is full of variety and is led by what the parents have weaned the baby on prior to attendance. The management are knowledgeable, kind and supportive; easy to approach with any concerns and they too also demonstrate how much care/safeguarding goes into looking after the children. They are also hands on and involved. I personally have already recommended this nursery once and will continue to.

We have been really impressed with monkey puzzle nursery. My little boy has been attending for 4 months and the staff have been absolutely fantastic. He was extremely nervous to start with and the team were really supportive for both us as parents and our boy through his settling in. Since starting he has really grown in confidence, the activities are fun and educational and he is always smiling when we pick him up. The team.have really got to know him and spend time with you at the end of the day giving you a debrief. So plessed we found it here.

My daughter has just had her first month here and although she has found the transition hard I can not thank the staff enough . They have been so supportive to my daughter and us as her parents . They are doing everything to support her into this new environment. We get lots of updates throughout the day which keeps me reassured. The nursery its self is clean and very well presented with lots of activities throughout the day. I know my daughter is going the thrive here. All the staff have been amazing, Sheena, Chloe ,Sophie ,Enida,Caitlin and Amber have been brilliant xx

The activities they do are fun and educational. The app updates throughout the day are brilliant. The environment feels very safe, clean and welcoming. We couldn't be happier with Monkey Puzzle and highly recommend this nursery to other families.

Only improvement we could ever ask is we wish they offered a session closer fit to school hours

My daughter enjoys going to nursery with welcoming staff she has learn so much and is very happy to attend nursery everyday. We appricate all the staff that look after our daughter . The office staff are very lovley and helpful with any enquiry we have .highly recommend the monkey puzzle stevenage!

Incredible Nursery. My sons been there from 11 months old, and we initially pulled him out of another nursery because of lack of care and put him into Monkey Puzzle and couldn't be happier. Every day my little one has the best experiences, he eats incredible, healthy, varied food and just thrives there. All thanks to the staff there! I wouldn't recommend anywhere else, and the daily updates throughout the day gives you reassurance that your little one is okay! Even the little babies have focus weeks where they learn key skills, my little one learnt to eat and brush his teeth at Nursery, he's only 16 months old now. Just an all around great nursery!

My son was one of the first children to start at Monkey Puzzle. During his "settling in" sessions, we were unable to leave the room because he was so upset at the thought of leaving us.

We were so nervous to start his childcare journey, but the staff were absolutely amazing. Constantly reassuring him, and us, that everything was going to be ok.

Seeing him build that trust and flourish in this setting has been incredible. By the second day, he went in with absolutely no fuss, ready for a day of learning. These days we struggle to get him home at pick up time because he's having so much fun with his friends. The days where he doesn't go to nursery - he asks when he's going back.

I couldn't recommend the setting enough. Everybody seems to know every child by name and is always ready with a smile.

As a mother of 2 children at this nursey, both starting 5 months ago, I have to say the staff are great, always happy to see the children and nothing is ever a problem.

Both of my children have made significant progress on their developmental milestones since starting and I believe this is down to the staff being so engaged with the kids. There is always a number of different activities, both indoors and outdoors, in each room every day to keep them busy and engaged.

There is loads of communication from the nursey in the app & daily post of what the children have been up to, often with up to 80 pictures for each room! Additionally staff are always happy to answer questions or discuss any issues, where we have had small issues they have been dealt with very quickly (less than 24 hours).

One of my children has SEN and the staff have gone above and beyond in dealing with a number of organisations to understand, learn and embrace the different techniques to support their development
