Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Lightwater

My son has been attending Monkey Puzzle Lightwater since January, and the difference in him compared to his previous nursery has been incredible. The team has supported his development so well, especially with his recognition skills and eating, and the progress he has made in such a short time has been significant.

He is always happy to go in, has built a fantastic rapport with the whole team, and I feel confident in their care because of their clear communication, willingness to listen, and commitment to working alongside me to support him.

I recently attended the first graduation at the nursery, and it was such a joyful event. Seeing the children have fun together and celebrating their achievements was incredibly special. The team had thought of every detail so each child felt valued and celebrated, reflecting the caring, nurturing environment the team has created. I couldn't be happier with my experience and would highly recommend Monkey Puzzle Lightwater to any family.

Amazing care setting for my little girl. We have especially enjoyed the extra activities for the parents to come and see the nursery and get involved in play with our little one. Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter and then the summer fair. It is so nice to see our baby progressing through the different rooms! We love the app where we can see photos of what they've been upto, I work away for upto 5 nights at a time so it makes me feel closer to her knowing what she's getting up to. The staff are fabulous as always :-)

My son absolutely loves attending Monkey Puzzle Lightwater! He smiles at me as we approach the door knowing where he is going for the day! The team in the baby room are so lovely, very friendly and i know take great care of him. They always give a detailled handover every day, and can tell they really care. One very happy parent and child!!

This nursery is amazing, the staff are so helpful, so friendly and so welcoming. Our son joined last year when the nursery opened, and he has thrived ever since his speech has come on such a long way. He has a great relationship with his key workers, on Saturday 18th july 2026 the staff held a fab summer fair which was circus themed they pulled out all the stops and made the nursery look great they had stools, fun fair games, magician , music, face paint, food, bouncy castle, they really thought of it all. They all work so hard daily to provide the best environment and best education for our children. It is always so clean and tidy. I would really recommend this nursery to anyone who is wanting somewhere for the child to go

Monkey Puzzle Lightwater is an amazing nursery, it has a caring nurturing ethos. The children have a fun filled structured day allowing their personalities to shine. All activities are meticulously planned to ensure learning, play, independence, confidence and milestones are achieved. Staff are professional, approachable and knowledgeable, providing a safe and emotionally stable environment so the children thrive. Any issues are dealt with promptly and parents/carers are kept informed at all times. The meals and snacks provided are excellent, nutritious and varied thanks to the great chef. My grandchild is very happy and content at Monkey Puzzle.

We love monkey puzzle! The staff are friendly, caring and energetic. There is something fun going on every day! My child walks in with a smile on his face and walks out with a smile on his face. It feels like a giant family!

The staff are very professional, kind energetic and my son gets on with them very well. We moved our child from another nursery to this one and we are so pleased with our decision. Our son loves coming here and gets annoyed with us when he cannot go in on the days he doesn't attend. Our son settled very quickly into the environment and is very happy here and loves spending time in the garden. I feel happy knowing when I am at work my child is in a fun, safe, nurturing environment and having lots of fun! ,There is a wide variety of play opportunities based on many themes and the team are energetic and passionate about what they do on a daily basis. Parent's are well informed about their child's day. There is a lovely garden, opportunities to go off site to the local park / Country park and an added bonus of forest school. Scott, Becca and Sean go out of their way to support with anything possible. We highly recommend this nursery.

Monkey Puzzle is a fantastic nursery that I can confidently recommend. My baby attends this nursery, and we are very happy with our choice. The staff are wonderful - caring, dedicated, and great with the children. The building is well adapted to the children's needs, with thoughtfully arranged rooms and a wide range of age-appropriate toys and resources. The children take part in a variety of activities that support their development, and parents are kept informed about everything that happens throughout the day.

Hands down the best decision we made was moving our boys to monkey puzzle! They both love the staff, have great friends and do such fun activities every day. They get given filling wholesome meals and I love the amount of outdoor play they get, along with field trips to the park and doing forest school. The staff go above and beyond and are always willing to help regardless of how busy they are. Both my boys are thriving there and it's clear to see from the parents evening feedback that the staff know them inside out! Thank you!

My son joined pre school room in September 2025 and I have been nothing short of amazed at the quality of the care he has received. The staff are very passionate and eager to help. The activities he takes part in are far beyond our previous nursery in terms of thought and the level of engagement with his development. This nursery goes above and beyond, they even took the kids out to see the Christmas lights. The forest school is also great! Highly recommend!

We couldn't be happier with Monkey Puzzle Lightwater. Our little girl is in the Tweenies room, and the care, love and attention she receives is truly amazing. From the moment she started, the staff have made her feel safe, settled and excited to go in. The Tweenies team are incredibly nurturing, patient and attentive, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about each child. The activities are engaging, fun and really supportive of her development. We've seen such a boost in her confidence, independence and social skills. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed and reassured about her day. The nursery itself is warm, welcoming and well organised, with a lovely atmosphere throughout. Leaving your child is never easy, but Monkey Puzzle Lightwater makes it so much easier knowing she is happy, cared for and thriving. We're so grateful to the whole team and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

Our little boy has recently started at Monkey Puzzle Lightwater and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The staff are warm, attentive and genuinely focused on each child's needs and development. He is settling in beautifully and comes home happy, he especially loves the sensory play and opportunities to explore. We're excited to see him continue to thrive, learn and grow during his time at the nursery.

The staff are always so happy and friendly, the rooms are amazingly well kept and clean. Most importantly the communication is great, we get daily updates and even at the end of day they still take the time to tell us how her day went. You can really tell that within everything they do, the children's wellbeing and happiness are their main priority.

An excellent nursery with super attentive staff; loving and caring towards babies, toddlers, children. We joined last August 2025, and we have only the best to say. Our daughter is very happy and she is learning so much. Amazing for her development needs! The rooms and outdoors space are all spacious and kept super clean! Food portions and snacks are generous and also healthy. Management is very accommodating to our ways of doing things and super supportive with her needs. We receive reports and updates with great detail and we are up to date with what is happening during the day. Lots of great photos too! Moreover, the nursery is continuously developing a safe space for all parents to get together by organising various events, celebrating British and other cultures. Thank you team and keep up the brilliant work!

The nursery app is fantastic and keeps us fully updated with daily activities, milestones, meals, and photos, helping us feel connected even when we're not there.

My son started at Monkey Puzzle Lightwater at the beginning of the year and I couldn't be happier with how it is going so far. The staff have been so amazing with my boy. He found it a little difficult to settle to start with, but is now absolutely loving being there and that is all down to the incredible staff. Gemma and Courtney in particular. Most importantly they have been there for my son but also have been there for myself, giving me support, guidance and advice through what could have been a difficult adjustment for me too. I'd like to thank everyone at Monkey Puzzle Lightwater. You guys are amazing!

Tour and have not regretted my decision. After viewing a lot of nurseries, this nursery stood out for lots of reasons and we decided to go for it even though it was a bit further away from us compared to some others. The staff are so so good with the little one, you get regular updates through out the day on the app which I find really helpful. They also do daily/weekly observations of how your little one's fairing which I absolutely love. We've only been there a short while but very very happy with the decision. The staff in the baby room are so lovely and attentive and encourage lots of messy play which my baby absolutely loves. Her key worker is absolutely brilliant and attentive. They also manage to somehow keep the environment nice and tidy at all times. The management team are on the ball and quick with responding to queries and phone calls. Overall, an all round amazing nursery. A very pleased parent.
