About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of 2 to 3 year olds can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week, and some families on qualifying benefits can claim 15 hours regardless of working status. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 50 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 8.5 funded hours per day, stretched across 50 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 22.8 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

He looks forward to his days at school, always runs in happily, excited to be spending the day with his wonderful teachers and classmates, and comes bouncing out at pick up time, full of stories to share about his day. The teachers quickly got to know our son, made strong bonds with him and paid attention to his interests, which I'm sure is the reason he settled in so quickly. We're sad to be leaving such an excellent early years team, and are incredibly grateful for the amazing start they've given our son. Thank you EYFS team x
Absolutely amazing pre-school. They were exceptional with my daughter, catering to her speed and depth of learning. Communication was super clear and open. They provided meaningful guidance and were always proactive. Would recommend :)

My child particularly loved all the creative and art activities and I was really impressed with the wide range of what was on offer (including music and sports with specialist teachers). The kindergarten took the children on lots of trips and excursions which were brilliant for giving my child a greater sense of independence and a chance to experience different places. My child also enjoyed taking part in sports day and various performances.
I feel that the kindergarten gave her a very positive start to education and an enthusiasm for school.

Breakfast club and afterschool club. Lovely community, caring and experienced teachers, great headteacher and overall wonderful place. Small but mighty, nothing flashy about the facilities but perfect fit for our children. Halal meals. Highly recommended.

From the very first day, everyone was so kind, welcoming, and patient - they really took the time to help him settle in. The teachers create such a warm, nurturing environment where learning is fun, creative, and engaging.
We've been part of the Normanhurst community for quite a few years now, as our daughter - who is currently in Year 9 - also started in Lower Kindergarten. She has thrived throughout her time at the school, and it's been wonderful to watch both of our children grow in confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
Communication with parents is always excellent, and there's a real family feel to the school. You can tell that the staff genuinely care about the children and take pride in helping them reach their potential.
