Oaklands has been absolutely fantastic for our family. Three of my daughters have attended and every one of them has loved it. The activities are amazing fun, engaging, and covering both academic learning and sports, they really help the children grow in confidence and skills.
The teachers are truly
wonderful - caring, supportive, and passionate about what they do. Communication has always been excellent, which gives such peace of mind as a parent. The wraparound and pastoral care has also been brilliant and incredibly reliable.
They were incredibly helpful when it came to choosing the best next school for the girls and genuinely cared about each child's future and success. They went above and beyond with exam preparation too.
We couldn't be happier with our experience at Oaklands and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, fun, and supportive environment for their children.

My child had an amazing time at the kindergarten. The teachers created a very friendly, nurturing environment which helped my child feel at home immediately. The care from the staff was exceptional and I saw my child grow in confidence and make lots of progress in all areas.

My child particularly

loved all the creative and art activities and I was really impressed with the wide range of what was on offer (including music and sports with specialist teachers). The kindergarten took the children on lots of trips and excursions which were brilliant for giving my child a greater sense of independence and a chance to experience different places. My child also enjoyed taking part in sports day and various performances.

I feel that the kindergarten gave her a very positive start to education and an enthusiasm for school.

The best place for my daughter, lots of fun and play coupled with quality education for my three year old at the time. Outdoor and indoor provision, trips and lots of experiences. Breakfast club and afterschool club. Lovely community, caring and experienced teachers, great headteacher and overall wonderful
place. Small but mighty, nothing flashy about the facilities but perfect fit for our children. Halal meals. Highly recommended.

Our son started at Normanhurst School in Upper Kindergarten as quite a shy child, but over time he's grown so much in confidence thanks to the wonderful care and encouragement from the staff. From the very first day, everyone was so kind, welcoming, and patient - they really took the time to help him
settle in. The teachers create such a warm, nurturing environment where learning is fun, creative, and engaging.

We've been part of the Normanhurst community for quite a few years now, as our daughter - who is currently in Year 9 - also started in Lower Kindergarten. She has thrived throughout her time at the school, and it's been wonderful to watch both of our children grow in confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

Communication with parents is always excellent, and there's a real family feel to the school. You can tell that the staff genuinely care about the children and take pride in helping them reach their potential.
