Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Epsom

I am excited to open the new setting at Monkey Puzzle Epsom. I have been working in childcare now for 14 years and have been managing nurseries for the last 5 years. I hold a degree in Early Years Education and believe that children thrive when they feel secure in their environment and are having fun. I am passionate about creating an enriching and nurturing environment where children are at the centre of everything we do.

The nursery is a listed building and whilst it has been renovated, it still has some beautiful details of the cottage it used to be before. We also have a large outdoor space, which we encourage children to use in all weathers and the baby room has its very own garden.

I joined Monkey Puzzle Day after returning from maternity leave and I am super excited for my son to get all the experiences of nursery life.

My name is Laura I have worked in childcare for 17 years and I couldn’t think of a more rewarding career path. I think it is so important to be able to provide children with the best start in life! Starting with all the amazing experiences we can create for them as babies, leading up to the life skills we begin to teach them before they go off to school. I enjoy coming to work, seeing the children grow from taking their first steps, developing their own personalities and making friends. Knowing that I have made an impact on the children’s lives, I feel honoured and proud to be part of that achievement.
