Our daughter has been at the nursery for 10 months, and overall, it's been a great experience. The transition from toddler room to the preschool room was much smoother for her, and she absolutely loves it. The staff understood that my daughter could be quite anxious and gave extended settling in days to preschool room and they were really patient and kind with her. The manager, has been extremely welcoming, and since taking over, there have been many improvements like new room equipment, toys, and a wonderful outdoor garden. The nursery tailors activities to each child's interests, which keeps our daughter excited about learning. Her eating habits have improved too, thanks to the great lunches - they inspire her to try new foods at home! She also learned the alphabet in sign language, a testament to the creative learning environment provided by the staff.
The staff are always lovely and keep us updated on how her day goes at pick up. Highly recommend this nursery!

It is lovely to hear that you share our vision for effective transitions within nursery. I am so pleased that she had a positive transition that has allowed her to develop, increased confidence to express herself within her room. I love hearing that she is trying new foods and becoming more curious with a variety of food groups which has now extended to her home. We believe that teaching children sign language through Makaton plays a fundamental role in communicating with all children and adults to promote inclusivity for all.

The staff have been great helping my son settle into nursery. They are all very attentive and there is always good communication from them. They spend a lot of time outdoors which my son loves. The nursery is welcoming from walking in the front door.

We love welcoming your child into nursery each day he is in. From the lovely cuddles to expressing his needs through gestures and easy stages of communication. Our little boy loves this nursery, the working relationships he has developed with all the staff is second to none. Each member of staff knows him inside and out and accommodate his day to his strengths and interests, giving him choice to independently get the best out of his days in nursery. My son is full of stories from nursery and he talks in great detail about his day from breakfast to lunch to snack and all his activities in between. He totally thrives and since he started back in 2021, he has grown and developed more than we expected thanks to all the lovely staff, working not only with us, but also my son to get the best out of him and ensure we are working together to build on his solid foundation of knowledge and skills!

So far my children have had a wonderful experience being in this nursery and I am so pleased with that. Management and staff are really good and transparent, frequent updates about your child's development. All children and parents are well respected. The nursery has a lot of indoor and outdoor spaces to explore, a safe environment for kids, healthy meals, clean environment, nice staff and above all professionalism and a good value for money. I couldn't be more happy with my children being at Bright Starts Nursery.

I have had two kids in the nursery since 2021 to present and I can say the difference the new management has made is amazing. The nursery is clean and genuinely caring for the well-being of all babies and toddlers.

Before deciding on Bright Starts Nursery, we viewed a number of Glasgow-based options. It was the friendly welcome and staff that originally attracted us to the nursery. In the past twelve months, there has been significant investment into the nursery - improving the facilities and; outdoor space with more resources now available for use. I would highly recommend this nursery, especially with their competitive pricing. The management is visible which I think is important and we have full confidence leaving our daughter here - she absolutely loves her days at Bright Starts. We receive regular updates via an app so can see what she is up to each day. They also have a chef who prepares healthy meals every day. If you are looking for a nursery - give this one a visit and you won't be disappointed. Exceptional value for money but above all, a friendly and warm environment for your little ones!

We appreciate all the support and patience whilst we navigate our way through a refurb of the environment. As management, we understand the importance of being visible in nursery playrooms as we are able to offer reassurance, guidance and support to all our valued team members, families and children. The app is a great way of communicating and building rapport with our families and we are lucky to have this facility in nursery. It is important that we cater to all children's individual needs through our menus and appreciate the time parents take to provide us with nutritional meal ideas for menu planning.

Hi, I’m Sam, the Nursery Manager, and I am passionate about creating a warm, nurturing and high-quality environment where every child can thrive.
I am proud to lead a welcoming, family-centred nursery where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn. I work closely with my team to ensure that all care and learning experiences are tailored to each child’s individual needs, interests and stage of development.
Our approach is child-centred and guided by Realising the Ambition and the Care Inspectorate Quality Framework. We support children through meaningful play, strong relationships and engaging environments, both indoors and outdoors.
As a manager, I am committed to:
• Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families and staff
• Supporting my team through ongoing training and development
• Ensuring high standards of care, safety and well-being
• Creating stimulating environments that encourage curiosity, creativity and independence
