Their nursery is set across two levels and includes a modern kitchen where the chef prepares fresh, nutritious, home cooked meals each day. All meals are carefully planned to meet children’s individual dietary requirements, including allergies, intolerances and preferences. Their menu operates on a three week cycle and is reviewed twice yearly to reflect seasonal changes and ensure variety.
Their team are actively involved in selecting and developing resources throughout the nursery, ensuring that environments reflect children’s interests, support their curiosity and promote meaningful learning experiences. This approach aligns with Realising the Ambition, placing the child at the centre of all planning and experiences.
The nursery is led by a passionate, motivated and skilled team who are committed to continuous professional learning. Staff regularly engage in training and development opportunities to strengthen their knowledge and practice in line with the Care Inspectorate Quality Framework and current Early Years guidance across Scotland.
Their outdoor environment complements indoor spaces, providing rich opportunities for exploration, creativity and physical development. Using natural resources and open ended materials, they create engaging experiences that encourage children to follow their interests, take risks in a safe way and develop confidence in their learning.
At Bright Starts Glasgow, they are committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive and high quality environment where every child feels valued, supported and inspired to achieve their full potential.

All staff are warm, patient and attentive towards my son and genuinely cares about his development! I love hearing about his daily activities and seeing his confidence grow in leaps and bounds. The communication is fantastic, and knowing he is safe, stimulated, and happy makes dropping him off amazing! He is thriving everyday and I can't be more appreciative for all the staff that look after him, they're like his second family! Thank you!

As a first-time mum and someone who was extremely nervous, this week they have certainly made this transition much easier. The app updates and run down of their day when collecting him has provided so much peace of mind. Great experience so far.

As a parent, it's such a relief knowing she's happy and safe in a place where she feels comfortable. The staff are amazing, they're always friendly and go out of their way to help. Seeing my daughter who used to be clingy, become more confident has been incredible, all thanks to this nursery and their staff.
The facilities are great, everything is safe, and she loves the activities they do each day. I also love getting updates from staff about how her day went.
I'd highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, fun, and educational place for their child. The team really goes above and beyond!

My child has been attending this nursery for a while and I couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention they receive. Since the new head and assistant staff took over, the level of care has noticeably improved. The staff are incredibly nurturing, creating a warm and secure environment where children feel safe and welcomed. They provide a perfect balance of structured activities and free play, fostering both creativity and social development.
What I appreciate most is the consistent communication with parents. I am always well informed about my child's progress and any upcoming events. The facilities are well-maintained, clean, and stocked with a wide variety of educational toys and resources, making it a fantastic space for children to learn and grow. Overall, this has been a highly positive and enriching experience for our family. We're very grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery. Really Bright Starts!

Staff here genuinely care about the children they look after. Communication with parents is open and receptive to the family's needs. Children are treated as individuals and encouraged and well supported. Staff are polite and keen to foster a positive relationship with both kids and their grown-ups. My child is excited to arrive in the morning and full of smiles when I collect her. They've been working very hard to build creative areas for the children to learn and explore and a lot of thought has gone into every play section. It's worth noting my child has additional needs and the staff have worked closely with us to make sure she is included and supported.

This was the main reason I put my girl into nursery as she didn't spend much time with other children and I'm so glad I did because she's come on leaps and bounds. My child always has a good time at Bright Starts Nursery. And she has advanced with her verbal skills and motor skills a lot ever since she started attending Bright Starts. Staff are fabulous, very attentive, caring and thoughtful. During the time of transitioning from baby room to toddler room, my child had a bit of hard time for dealing with that, but the staff would quickly respond to her insecurity and settle her and assure me that if everything was ok afterwards. I can see my child is really enjoying her time at Bright Starts because every morning she is a bit grumpy to let me dress her up, but if I say you're going to the nursery she would immediately jump up and let me change her outfit.
Thank you guys for giving my child such a great time with you and letting her feel loved and cared every time she's there.

Hi, I’m Sam
Hi, I’m Sam, the Nursery Manager, and I am passionate about creating a warm, nurturing and high-quality environment where every child can thrive.
I am proud to lead a welcoming, family-centred nursery where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn. I work closely with my team to ensure that all care and learning experiences are tailored to each child’s individual needs, interests and stage of development.
Our approach is child-centred and guided by Realising the Ambition and the Care Inspectorate Quality Framework. We support children through meaningful play, strong relationships and engaging environments, both indoors and outdoors.
As a manager, I am committed to:
• Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families and staff
• Supporting my team through ongoing training and development
• Ensuring high standards of care, safety and well-being
• Creating stimulating environments that encourage curiosity, creativity and independence
• Continuously improving our nursery through reflection and feedback
We provide a balance of structured and child-led experiences, including outdoor play, creative opportunities, early literacy and numeracy, and social development through group activities.
I believe in open and honest communication with families and love working in partnership with parents to support each child’s learning journey.
My aim is simple – to ensure every child gets the very best start in life.
