The new setting in Sholing is ideally situated, offering childcare from 0-5 years. Children benefit from spacious areas, both inside and out, and families can enjoy plenty of parking for drop offs and pick ups.

School Day (7 hours only between 08.00 - 16.30): £62.25

Fees applicable from 1st March 2024, and are increased annually.
Additional Charges – when in receipt of Free Entitlement.
Charges are applied at a rate of £2.75 per funded hour and reviewed annually in line with fee increases.

Overall Experience

My son started Hopscotch Nursery Sholing on the 30th September and the team have been absolutely amazing. He cannot wait to go to preschool each day and he loves coming home to tell us all about the things he's been doing. His tastes in food have grown and he will often ask for food he's eaten at preschool for dinner. We cannot thank the team enough for helping him to settle in, ensuring us as parents are happy with everything and for being simply amazing people

Hello, my name is Dawn Forshaw, and I am proud to be Nursery Manager at Hopscotch Sholing.
I have worked in Early Years for over 25 years and have spent the last 16 years as a Nursery Manager.
I have my BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies, a Level 3 in Management, and a Foundation degree and BA (Hons) in Early Years.
I am passionate about giving children the best start in life. I wholeheartedly believe that our formative years set the path for our future lives. If children are offered an exciting, stimulating, and challenging environment to grow in, they will undoubtedly grow into respectful, resilient, ambitious members of society!
I believe in the old adage “it takes a village to raise a child”, and therefore parent partnerships are incredibly important to me. I enjoy working alongside our parents, welcoming them into the setting to experience nursery life alongside their children.

I am immensely proud to work alongside the team at Sholing; an incredibly passionate team, who always put the children at the heart of their practice!

Hi, I am Aimee, and I started at Hopscotch in 2015. I am so proud of what I have achieved at Hopscotch, from working as a Nursery Nurse and progressing to Room leader at our Gosport branch to becoming a Deputy Manager and supporting our newer settings at Portswood and Eastleigh. I joined Hopscotch Sholing shortly after it opened as deputy manager.
