Hopscotch Day Nursery Sholing

My son has been at Hopscotch since it first opened in September 2024 and the staff dealt with all the changes so well from the get go with the setting being open and working around the new rooms getting ready. He has thrived since starting and has learnt so much, he is very social and enjoys going, he eats lots of lovely food that we wouldn't usually have at home which is a bonus! I love that all of the staff in the setting know each child by name and will greet them no matter what they're doing. He started in the baby room and is now just moving to the preschool room and has loved all of the rooms. The gardens are lovely for development and ensuring all the children have something that is of their interests. We both love that they offer fruit daily as you are leaving the setting and he always picks something to take. He always comes out telling me something new he has done that day as the staff make sure there is a variety daily. The setting is very clean, warm and inviting.

My son has attended this nursery since it opened in September 2024, and I can't praise it enough. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and there is always a lovely atmosphere at both drop-off and pick-up. Management are approachable and always willing to help. His key workers in both the baby and toddler rooms have been fantastic, keeping us updated on his progress and advising how to support him at home. The facilities are clean, well-equipped, and the outdoor areas are stimulating and enjoyable for the children. Any minor issues have been dealt with promptly, and the nursery is always accommodating with personal requests. I've attended stay-and-play sessions, which provided great insight into his day and reassurance that he's happy and well cared for. My son comes home talking excitedly about what he's done, who he's played with, and what he's eaten during the day. His development has come on immensely, and I'm so grateful for the excellent care he receives.

I could not recommend this nursery enough. My daughter loves attending her days here at Hopscotch and she has been progressing so much since she joined earlier this year. The staff are so kind and attentive, they do great activities/outings and the food menu's great. We are always kept informed about any updates.

I am really pleased with Hopscotch and cannot wait for my daughter to progress more there.

I cannot speak highly enough of Hopscotch Sholing and the difference it's made to my son since he started in May. He's always been a confident little boy but the key workers in the toddler room have helped improve his speech, his gentle hands, his eating, use of single words and they expose him to so much singing, dancing and signing which he loves to do. At drop off, every time, I know I am leaving him in capable hands, with individuals who are so caring and kind. The updates we receive make our day as we continue to see his development week on week. We have recently started potty training and staff have followed this through expertly and kindly, giving full updates throughout the day. Our boy is so excited each morning for his nursery days and that's all we can ask for. The setting itself is exceptional, the best we ever looked at; it's clean and inviting, newly built and the toddler room and garden is amazing. I praise the nursery to mum friends often, thank you for all you do!

I'm really happy with this setting and couldn't ask for a better place for my child to grow.

My daughter has been going here since it first opened in September and she loves it there, I walk away every morning knowing she's in safe hands and very well looked after, I would like to thank all the staff there for looking after my daughter. She comes home and tells me what they've been up to and how much she enjoys it there and how much she loves the food, her favourite is the fish curry, considering before starting her journey at Hopscotch Day Nursery she would never touch fish. She has come such a long way since joining here and the staff help so much to get her to the level she should be.

Couldn't praise Hopscotch Day Nursery Sholing and it's staff enough. They have gone above and beyond to support my son's needs right down to dietary. My son is SEN and the difference in him since starting has been amazing. Nothing is ever too much effort.
