Located within Wharton Children’s Centre, Wharton Nursery offers a bright and welcoming space where children from 3 months to 4 years can blossom at their own pace, building key life skills through active play and exploration.

The nursery is split into three dedicated sections – one for babies, one for toddlers, and one for preschoolers. Each space is designed to support children’s development, reflecting their needs and interests to create engaging,...

The nursery has got its fun, friendly, family feel back to it. Everyone has smiles on their faces when you drop off and pick up! My child is thriving under their care and I couldn’t be happier. He is so happy to be dropped off and the friendships he is building with other children and staff is lovely!

Absolutely lovely nursery. Lots of fun and engaging activities are arranged for the children every day. The staff are always so kind and helpful whenever anything is needed. My little girl literally runs through the door every morning!

As a parent, I am very happy with teachers working together to educate my child better, my child then told me about what he got from his class, my child is very happy to be able to make friends and can learn a lot of new things, my child talks about the teachers who are kind and friendly. Absolutely fantastic nursery! All the staff are so welcoming, my son has developed in leaps and bounds. He loves telling me all the stuff he’s been up to on his days in. I would recommend this place to anyone that asks about nurseries.

The nursery is very friendly and far exceeded our expectations. Our little girl is looking forward to the morning to be able to go to nursery again. When I had a problem I received the best advice and help. We thank the entire team for their love and professionalism.

An absolutely delightful nursery, full of fun, life and colour. Brilliantly friendly and committed staff. Lots of engaging activities with parents for the children but would like an afternoon activity. A lovely nursery choice for my son. Love the atmosphere and the indoor and outdoor space. Thoroughly recommend it!

Hi my name is Rachael.
I took over as manager of Wharton nursery in September 2023 and all the families and staff have been amazing and welcoming.
I have my Level 4 in childcare learning and development and I am Level 3 trained in safeguarding. I am also the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator and have recently completed my Early Years ELSA training which we are looking forward to implementing in the setting.
I am married and I have 2 children.

In my spare time I like to read, knit, spend time with my friends and family and watch movies.

I love to get messy and sing with the children.

In my spare time i love spending time with my husband and my dog and we have just welcomed our baby girl, so i am on maternity leave right now but I will be back soon.

I enjoy making every child’s day at the nursery positive, uplifting and a place where they can feel happy.
