Hi my name is Rachael.
I took over as manager of Wharton nursery in September 2023 and all the families and staff have been amazing and welcoming.
I have my Level 4 in childcare learning and development and I am Level 3 trained in safeguarding. I am also the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator and have recently completed my Early Years ELSA training which we are looking forward to implementing in the setting.
I am married and I have 2 children.
In my spare time I like to read, knit, spend time with my friends and family and watch movies.

Hi I am Gemma,
I have 20 years experience working in Nurseries, I have my level 3, my first aid and have recently completed the early years ELSA training and I am really happy to be here at S4YC Wharton.

Hi, my name is Liz and I have my level 3 qualification in early years. I have 30 years of experience in childcare.

I love to travel and enjoy exploring new places.

Hello I'm Rachel. I am the preschool supervisor and early years teacher. I have worked in childcare for 11 years and have been at the Wharton Nursery since November 2021.
I love working in the Preschool room, teaching and helping the children learn and develop to get them ready for their next adventure at school.
I love that every day is different, but always fun and exciting activities to take part in with the children.
I have 2 young children who take up my spare time, taking them to football and dance lessons but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Hi, my name is Kelly, I have worked at the nursery since February 2023 and I have my level 3 in childcare and education. I work in the Baby room and watching the children as they develop their personalities and achieve their milestones is an honour. I also love Messy playtime.

In my spare time, I love reading and spending time with my family and friends.

Hi My name is Katie,
I have vast experience in working in nurseries and have a passion for SEND practice. I have taken on the role of Room leader and look forward to working with all the families and children.

I have worked for the Nursery from October 2009. I love working here and it has been so rewarding watching the children grow up and meet their milestones, being able to see their progress from the baby room all the way to when they leave for primary school. I have worked in the Toddler room and the baby room. I currently work full time in the baby room, and have achieved my level 3 in children's learning and development. I love to get messy and sing with the children.
In my spare time i love spending time with my husband and my dog and we have just welcomed our baby girl, so i am on maternity leave right now but I will be back soon.

Hi my name is Ellie,
I love working with children and it’s something I have always wanted to do. In my spare time I like to read books and I love to spend time with my family.
I am level 2 qualified what I like about the job is that I get to create a bond with the children and their parents.

Hi my names Emma, I have been at the nursery since May 2023 and I have a level 3 in childcare and education. I started my journey in toddler room but I am now in preschool, I love that I get to see all the toddlers I started with grow and move up with me and I get to be a part of the preschooler's next step getting ready for big school.
My spare time is spent with my 2 beautiful children and husband, going to the zoo, for bike rides, finding new places to explore or just playing at home - I really wouldn’t want life any other way.

Hello! My names Ellie, I’m a new apprentice at the nursery!, I’m currently working towards my level 3 childcare qualification! in my free time I enjoy reading, colouring, long walks with my family, visiting the library with my baby sister & making things.
I’ll usually be found doodling or getting creative in some way with the children!, I love my job and it’s something I've always wanted to do since I was little, I adore the children and I’m so grateful to be able to watch them grow into amazing individuals!

My name is Michelle,
I have my level 3 in childcare learning and development and I have worked here at Wharton for the last 6 years. I love working on interventions that help all children thrive and grow at our setting and it is an honour to be a part of their learning journey.
In my spare time I enjoy going out with my family and being a mummy to my own children.

I have been working here at Wharton for just over a year now and am starting my level 3 in children's learning and development.
During my free time I like to read bake and spend time with my friends and family.

Hi, I am the Assistant cook here at Wharton and I work at our Over setting as well.
I have my level 3 in learning and development.
In my free time I like to watch movies, paint and I love cooking.

I enjoy making every child’s day at the nursery positive, uplifting and a place where they can feel happy. It’s wonderful to be in an environment where all staff and children interact with each other during fun activities that are enriching each child’s education and entertainment. I myself love being creative, anything to do with paint and art is something I love to do with all the children. I aspire to begin my journey of studying for my Level 2 qualification.
Personally, I cherish spending time with my friends and family. I have a beautiful son that I am very proud of, I take pride in being a loving and supportive mother. I look forward to my future and to progressing in my career.

I have been at the nursery since February 2023 and currently working towards my Level 2 childcare qualification. I am working in all the rooms so I know all the children in our setting. I am mostly in the baby room and toddler room and I love seeing them develop their own personalities. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and going for walks with our dog.

I have worked here at Wharton Nursery for the last 13 years, I have been catering for 30 years and recently completed my level 2 in children's learning and development. I love that I get to cook and be a part of the children's learning journey.
In my spare time I love family time with my 3 children and 2 grandchildren cuddling up under a blanket and watching a movie.

Hi, my name is Sarah and I’ve worked in the Wharton setting for the last four years.

Before this, I was at the Northwich setting for 9 years.
I have gained my level 2 qualification in children's learning and development and I work mainly in the toddler room.
I have two boys, one is 14 and the youngest is 11. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, socialising and being with my boys.

Hi, My name is Chelsea, I have worked here at Wharton on and off for the last 10 years taking time off to have my family.

I have my Level 3 in childcare and education and have a passion for stories, I love helping the children bring these stories to life by acting them out and retelling them in their own words.

When I am not in nursery, I love spending time with my husband and my children, baking and exploring the outdoors.
