Located within Wharton Children’s Centre, Wharton Nursery offers a bright and welcoming space where children from 3 months to 4 years can blossom at their own pace, building key life skills through active play and exploration.

The nursery is split into three dedicated sections – one for babies, one for toddlers, and one for preschoolers. Each space is designed to support children’s development, reflecting their needs and interests to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that inspire their curiosity and build their confidence.

With a spacious garden at the back of the nursery, children can enjoy outdoor learning all year round. From splashing in puddles to going on a bug hunt or watching the flowers bloom, little ones can experience the magic of nature in every season.

The nursery’s experienced staff tailor each day to support children’s growth through a balance of child-led and guided learning. Families closely involved with regular updates and open communication to ensure every child’s progress is shared and celebrated.

The team is always looking forward to showing parents around. The nursery adopts an open-door policy, meaning parents are welcome to drop in anytime and experience the setting for themselves.

Absolutely lovely nursery. Lots of fun and engaging activities are arranged for the children every day. The staff are always so kind and helpful whenever anything is needed. My little girl literally runs through the door every morning!

As a parent, I am very happy with teachers working together to educate my child better, my child then told me about what he got from his class, my child is very happy to be able to make friends and can learn a lot of new things, my child talks about the teachers who are kind and friendly. Absolutely fantastic nursery! All the staff are so welcoming, my son has developed in leaps and bounds. He loves telling me all the stuff he’s been up to on his days in. I would recommend this place to anyone that asks about nurseries.

The nursery is very friendly and far exceeded our expectations. Our little girl is looking forward to the morning to be able to go to nursery again. When I had a problem I received the best advice and help. We thank the entire team for their love and professionalism.

An absolutely delightful nursery, full of fun, life and colour. Brilliantly friendly and committed staff. Lots of engaging activities with parents for the children but would like an afternoon activity. A lovely nursery choice for my son. Love the atmosphere and the indoor and outdoor space. Thoroughly
