Our daughter started when she turned two and has loved every day since. She can't wait to arrive in the mornings, adores the wonderful staff and loves all the varied activities - visiting the local community, dancing, garden play, crafts and so much more. She continues to thrive in such a supportive environment and is nothing but happy attending. We couldn't wish for a more friendly and caring setting.
The care from his key workers really has made his experience a lovely one, I think he'll be sad to leave for school!
All staff show the children kindness and patience and genuine care and the activities they do with the children throughout the year and each festivity are so thoughtful.
We highly recommend Perins Preschool!
My son has been attending Perins Pre-School since April 2025 and he's loved every moment. Excellent facilities and big outdoor area with lots of equipment. Very good support from all the lovely staff and help through toilet training / eating and making my son feel comfortable and confident when attending.
Lots of additional activities which include going on woodland walks & visiting local places in Alresford.
My daughter started aged 2 and a half when her previous nursery setting closed. We wanted somewhere with outside space and liked the fact Perins shares the Sun Hill grounds providing extra space to explore.
My daughter doesn't cope well with change and to begin with often went in kicking and screaming but staff remained patient with her. She's now older and started to realise some of her friends attend for less days than she does so will still sometimes hesitate to go in and staff remain patient and encourage her.
On collection we have the opposite extreme and she often doesn't want to leave. She talks fondly about the activities she has done from visiting a care home to the police/fire station and local library. Dancing, playing in the garden and making arts and craft. The various seasonal themed stay and plays throughout the year mean I can spend a bit of time seeing her learning and development too.
We're are happy with our experience at this preschool. The staff are caring, patient, and truly dedicated to the children's development. Our child has grown in confidence and loves going every day. The environment is warm, clean, and full of fun learning activities. We couldn't recommend it more
The staff work really hard to create a fun and nurturing environment for the children who attend. We have been really happy with the care of our two children who have attended Perins Pre-school since it opened and in particular think some positive changes have been introduced in the last year. There has been a big focus on improving the garden and developing a growing area and they are taking the children out in to the local community more to explore which is great. There are lots of fun learning themes too.
Our son loves it here! He is always really happy when we tell him it's a nursery day which we've only ever seen as a huge positive. The staff are all very friendly and seem to have a really good relationship with the children. Also like that there seem to be firm boundaries and they instill politeness in the children too. Plus the new relationship they have with a local sheltered housing is the cutest!
My son has been at Perins Pre School since he was 2 and we couldn't be happier with it. The staff go above and beyond for the children. My son goes in and comes out really happy every day. The staff know and understand him really well. It's only getting better as they continue to improve the outdoor areas and offer a broader outdoor education. We are looking forward to sending our youngest son there when he turns 2.
