We’re open 51 weeks per year, excluding bank holidays and 3 team development days a year. All nurseries will close for one week between Christmas and New Year.

I have over 23 years’ experience in Early Years education and childcare, with 20 years of this time spent managing nurseries within the London and Surrey areas. My journey within childcare began at a Preparatory school in Surrey which catered for both early years and older children. This gave me the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of school life both academic and extra-curricular for all ages. Moving into the Day care sector has been very rewarding and further ignited my passion in supporting the nurture and development of very young children. I am dedicated to fostering an inclusive, respectful and empathetic learning environment for all.
Through the years I have been privileged to have been part of the learning journey of many young children and seen how their experiences within their earlier years has had a positive impact and cemented the solid foundations they have needed to navigate their futures. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with the Team and supporting kinderzimmer’s mission to change the world through education.
I thoroughly enjoy spending my time with every child under my care and getting to know their individual interests and seeing how we can incorporate their joy and wonder into our daily provision. Early Years children thrive within an engaging environment where they can grow in confidence, build on important social skills and learn at their own pace in an enabling and creative setting.
I enjoy travel and have had the opportunity to travel around the world, visited many countries and experience the natural world in a variety of locations. I believe that this has given me the opportunity to gain a greater perspective of different cultures and to support my understanding of our wider community.
My vision is to continuously strive to provide outstanding childcare and education for all the children at Walton on Thames.
I am the Deputy Head of Nursery at Kinderzimmer and have worked in early years education for several years, including two years within the organisation. I hold a BA (Honours) Degree in Early Childhood Studies, inspired by my interest in early cognitive development in education. I have led diverse, high-performing teams both within the UK and internationally in schools across the USA, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. I believe in inclusive, research-informed, child-centred practice and value strong partnerships with families. I am committed to supporting children, families, and the nursery community. Outside work, I enjoy travelling, hiking, weight training, cooking, reading, and family time.
