The Gingerbread House Nursery

My daughter loves going to nursery and even after a 6 week break, she was eager to return. This just shows how much fun and support the nursery provides for her. I am so pleased we chose Gingerbread House and wouldn't change it for anything.

Really lovely nursery with lots of extra provisions for the children and great staff! Our child moved from another nursery, which we were slightly apprehensive about, however she settled in really well and absolutely loves The Gingerbread House.

My daughter loves the nursery she's always excited to go and always comes out happy and in a good mood. She tries different foods that she won't try at home and loves all the staff members, they are very polite and kind.

We couldn't be more pleased with our daughter's experience at The Gingerbread House - It's the perfect nursery for the village. Our daughter's confidence & skills have come on so much in the time she has been there, I wasn't confident she would receive the same time & attention at larger nurseries we viewed. She was a year and a half when she enrolled at The Gingerbread House & we noticed an improvement in every aspect of her development almost instantly. Photos & updates throughout the day are very reassuring too - our daughter is always excited to go there. We will send our second child there also, we couldn't recommend it enough.

The team at The Gingerbread House is fantastic. We get updates on the app throughout the day and they have different activities including music, sports and dance classes for the children. Our son absolutely loves it here!

All the team at Gingerbread House Nursery have been fantastic! My daughter was never easy to hand over but as the weeks have gone by, the team have dealt with her amazingly well. Showing her comfort and attention has really helped her progress. All the team have been so calm and never once caused an issue with it. Keep up the amazing work!

My son has recently started going here, as a first-time mum you worry whether it's the right choice but I've seen such a difference in him. I'm very happy with how the staff communicate, it's always clean in both rooms.

My child thoroughly enjoys attending The Gingerbread House. She has always been made to feel very welcome. The staff are fantastic.

Staff are very lovely and great communication and very approachable. My daughter always comes home hope. I love the extra things they do like visits to the park and outside companies they hire in. Overall a great experience so far.

The staff at The Gingerbread House Nursery have been wonderful from day 1. Our little boy started attending in January 2024 and it has been amazing to see him grow and flourish. Even as a premature baby, we have seen his development been well supported and cared for. The staff at The Gingerbread House Nursery have assisted him every step of the way (literally!) by helping him hit those milestones and he continues to be more curious and inquisitive every day! The schedule of activities and meals they prepare are always varied and it's wonderful to see all his updates during the day, via the app with pictures and comments. Thank you Gingerbread House Nursery, you have made the transition for returning to work so much simpler!

My daughter has been attending Gingerbread House since she was just 9 months old, starting in September 2023, and we absolutely love it here. The entire team genuinely cares, and their dedication means so much to us. We truly couldn't imagine life without the amazing Gingerbread House team - thank you all for everything you do!

I personally think staff could/should improve on tone of voice/language towards the children. I don't think any staff should be shouting at toddlers but overall what I have seen they seem good.

A fantastic setting, very friendly staff who really care and take the time to get to know your child. All the staff at The Gingerbread House Nursery are lovely, they have taken the time to get to know my son and what he likes/dislikes. They understand his personality and always have time to give him a “hug” if he needs one in the morning or sing songs with him so he can show off his moves! I regularly get updates showing how happy he is through the day playing with a mixtures of resources (both indoors and outdoors) which I love to see. He also goes to the staff for cuddles and looks to them for reassurance which shows the trust and connections they have formed with him. I honestly thought it was going to be the hardest thing ever settling him into a nursery but it’s actually the best thing I’ve ever done. Thank you so so much for all the love and support you all offer to my little boy, it means the world to me that he is in such a wonderful environment every day whilst I’m at work.

My daughter has attended the setting for just over 1 month and so far we have had a great experience. The staff are really friendly and the baby suite has been set up to meet the needs of the younger children. They seem to be doing very well here.

The Gingerbread House Nursery is such a wonderful nursery. The staff are amazing and they are always so helpful and caring. My daughter not only loves going here but is thriving here aswell. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

I like that they always keep me in the loop about my child's development. They do athletics and musical mini-sessions every week. They are easy to communicate with and they are able to comfort my daughter when she feels emotional.
