U1R Thanet Nursery

I am so impressed and pleased with what U1R Nursery offer and provide. My child recently moved here and has settled really quickly. The nursery offer excellent communication on their app and in person. They have even been checking in whilst my son has been poorly. The classrooms always look inviting with educationally stimulating activities set up. My son has been eager to tell me what he has done during his days here. He also loves accessing the soft play and sensory rooms too. We love the fact there is free flow to the garden as my son loves to be outdoors. It is a great space, and is a real selling point that each age group has their own garden space. The staff are good at talking about my son's day during handover. They also have given regular observations of his learning, which is wonderful to see. There are lots of choices for snacks etc. and breakfast club is a great option. Getting regular updates on what my son has eaten is really reassuring too.

My little one has been attending this nursery since he was 9 months old. He's now 2 and absolutely thriving, and U1R Nursery has been a big part of that. The care and kindness of staff made returning to work feel manageable, as I knew he was in great hands. He loves his key worker and is always so happy to be there. There is a real community feel to the nursery, with staff and management going above and beyond to support children and their families. Everything is well thought through for children's development from interesting activities to nutritious meals. Highly recommend.

My son started the nursery in September 2023, he has absolutely thrived during his time in the nursery so far. The staff have been really supportive with room changes and he has made lots of friends. He is really excited to go in the morning and tells me how much fun he has had when I pick him up as well as talking about all the things he has learnt that day. I look forward for my newborn to be starting in the baby room late next year, I just know he is going to have the best nursery experience along with my firstborn. I couldn't recommend U1R Nursery enough.

My son has been at U1R Nursery since April 2024. Despite being unsure and not wanting to be left the first couple of sessions, he settled in so well and very quickly thanks to the amazing staff. They are all so friendly, welcoming and caring. We knew as soon as we viewed the nursery it was the one for us. It is a well-run, clean, safe environment and my son is very happy there. Would definitely recommend.

Our son has been at U1R nursery since September 2023 and we've found it to be a wonderful nursery. The staff are all lovely and helpful - including all the room staff, managers and admin who always get back to us quickly through the nursery app. They have even helped us with paperwork for funding and always remind us when this needs updating. Our son's development has been amazing since he started and they have worked with us to support him through some tricky milestones, keeping us informed of his progress on a daily basis as well as overviews and at parents' evening. He has a great rapport with the staff in his room and really enjoys his day.

As soon as we looked around the nursery in April 2023 we knew it was the one! Our daughter went off with the practitioners and we were able to ask questions and see the rest of the nursery! Our daughter then started the September 2023 and has thrived ever since, it's her favourite place to go, she loves everyone who works there and always comes out and goes in with a smile!

Smashing it and can't wait to see what the future holds for this amazing nursery that is going from strength to strength with all the facilities they have to offer the children!

Brilliant - son has been in since about June 2023 and it has been great for him (and us) learnt a lot and the facilities are well thought out and fun - he loves the place, food and staff - always looks forward to a nursery day.

My 1-year-old daughter has been at Under 1 roof nursery since the beginning of September and she loves it there. The staff are all so friendly and polite. My daughter has become so confident and smiles and waves me off at drop-off time. The nursery provides so much stimulation for little minds with a lovely outdoor space, sensory rooms and even access to the soft play area within the same building. It's a wonder nursery and I'm so glad I picked it for my daughter to attend.

It is so lovely to turn up at pick-up time to be greeted by staff who know who I am and who I am here to pick up, without me being asked. My granddaughter always comes out bouncing and full of chat on what she has been up to and how much she 'loves' all the staff, and names them each by name. She never has a worry about going, so this for me is telling what a fantastic job the nursery does. She has been going since the start of the year and has now moved up to pre-school class and she has always been happy. The staff are great at recognising what her needs are and implementing them, working with parents, such as toilet training and eating more veg! I have recommended them to other parents as very confident they will love it like we do.

I can't rate them enough!

The first time I viewed the nursery I felt so reassured with how clean, organised and homely the setting was. My daughter had 3 settling-in sessions and the staff made her feel so welcome. She has now been going to the nursery for a year and has formed such a lovely bond with her key workers. I love how all members of staff know her by name despite working in a different room and it brings comfort that she is so well cared for by every single member of staff. There is a real sense of family community in the nursery and I couldn’t imagine sending my daughter anywhere else.
