U1R Thanet Nursery

U1R Nursery is the most amazing nursery. Our boy started here nearly 2years ago, when he started he was a very shy little boy and behind with his speech. But with the support and help from the nursery his speech quickly improved and so did his confidence. The best thing about this nursery is the amount of things they do with the children, our boy is never bored. They have amazing gardens, access to soft play, use a dance studio for signing dancing and even yoga, but they also have a different topic each week to focus learing and activies around, my boy has learnt so much about the world. The team are all outstanding, every member of staff know all the children and say hello every morning and it really feels like a big extended family. I cant fault this nursery it really is amazing.

We couldn't be happier at Under 1 Roof Nursery. It was daunting for us when we sent our first child to nursery but the staff made us feel so welcome and we could tell straight away that they were warm individuals who love their jobs. The classrooms are clean and have a wonderful variety of learning and play materials. We also love that the rooms have their own gardens that are private from outsiders. The app that tracks the daily activities of the children is really awesome and helps us feel involved and aware of what is going on with our child each day. Our son is thriving at Under 1 Roof and we feel privileged to have secured a spot. Best nursery!

Would recommend to any parent with children, feels like a family!

Overall, they are amazing. I could not recommend them higher, I feel safe leaving my daughter in their care and I know her needs are being met and more. The activities they do are different everyday, and they really care about the children's development.

He's happy going in, it's clean, amazing facilities, outdoor spaces are brilliant. Regular updates and communication via the app. Such friendly and welcoming staff. So pleased we chose this nursery!

Fantastic nursery!! our daughter has been attending Under One Roof for 2 years and absolutely loves it there! We are in the process of signing up our youngest now. The staff are brilliant with our little girl who always comes home happy and full of stories about her day. We love the open garden policy so the children can decide themselves where they want to be or what they want to do. Also, the app keeps us informed really well, loads of information is available about your child's day and it gives us the availability to contact staff members directly with any queries or them to contact us quickly with an update. We couldn't recommend Under One Roof highly enough they are Fantastic!!

Our child attends the nursery and has done from 11 months old, we knew as soon as we visited Under 1 Roof nursery that it would be where we would send our little one. The light, spacious, activity filled rooms and welcoming smiley staff were exactly what we wanted. Since starting her nusery journey our little girl has settled well and now cannot wait to get out of the car when we arrive in the mornings. The staff are amazing and so accommodating to not only our little one's needs but ours as a family. The daily updates via the app are also a wonderful added touch. We would highly recommend U1R Nursery to anyone looking for a safe, friendly, happy environment for their child. Thank you to all of you for everything you do.

This is the best nursery, my daughter is thriving and learning. She loves going to nursery, which shows how brilliant the staff are! Couldn't fault them one bit. Will recommend anyone I know for U1R Thanet Nursery.

Excellent nursery with very caring and loving staff. My toddler loves it and talks about their favourite staff all the time. Learning is great - my toddler surprises us with new stuff they learn every day. Nutrition is really good - a variety of snacks and meals. Safety is very important to the management which we love as it's very reassuring. To be let in you have to be buzzed in and then the manager lets you in through a door with a code lock. Excellent communication from the staff/management - genuinely cannot fault it. Long may it continue.

Choosing a nursery can be overwhelming, as soon as we booked a visit here I knew it was the one. Not only for the cleanliness and aesthetics but for the welcoming environment. I am delighted we chose U1R, my son was 8 months when he started, the staff care for him and other children like family. From entering reception to taking him to his room everyone is so friendly and know all little ones by name, my son is always happy to go in with open arms. Children have access to individual safe outdoor spaces all day as well as lovely areas to explore inside, I must say, well structured and clean!! They also have the opportunity to use the soft play centre at nursery too, which is a bonus. Food choices are healthy and explore different tastes and textures which is a big plus. The daily communication is great, updates in what my child is doing, eating, sleeping with photos and observations, I look forward to these at work! So glad we chose this nursery to be a part of my child's first years.

Where do I start. I was very nervous about putting my one-year-old into nursery to return to work. But WOW I have no mum guilt whatsoever as I know I made the right choice with this nursery. The staff treat her like family and are a big part in our little village (as it really does take one to raise children). I feel she is safe and well looked after and has an amazing time. The staff make sure they do the utmost to let me know my daughter has settled ok. They were also very good as my daughter had allergies I had no worries about that at all. Would highly recommend this nursery the activities they set up are outstanding and I love getting updates and pictures.

My daughter is 1 year old and she loves it, I think this is the best nursery ever, compared to other nurseries this one is massive, also they include soft play, they can take children to go there to have fun, upstairs they have dance etc. Wow I think it's fantastic, plus the staff there are very friendly and willing to help/advise you if you need anything or are unsure etc.

My son has been in the nursery since March 2023. I had some difficulties dropping him off, but the staff was always so caring and helpful. I never had to doubt he was happy the rest of the day. I also get pictures and messages which makes me and the family happy to see his smiles when he is there. Thank you U1R Nursery.

U1R Nursery have been absolutely amazing with my daughter, she's been there from 7 months old when they first opened. Every member of staff knows my daughter and says hello from the minute we walk in the door to everyone we pass by to her room. My daughter has thrived since being there and has become very social and her speech has come on amazingly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery. I've never had any concerns but I feel at ease knowing if I did I could talk to any member of staff and it would be sorted. My son's due to start in January too. Highly recommend!

This nursery is exceptional. My son had delayed speech and the nursery have been implementing plans and techniques to help my son in his speech development. We all have noticed vast improvements and he is now talking more than ever! Each staff member is a credit to the nursery name. The food is absolutely amazing and very adventurous for my fussy 3-year-old. He eats absolutely everything that's on the menu. It's super clean and they have amazing facilities such as their outdoor space, sensory classes and now working on a forest school!

My daughter has been attending U1R Nursery in Ramsgate since the day they opened. She is now in her last academic year here, and is absolutely thriving. All the staff are lovely and kind. She loves having free flow into the garden! The app used to keep me updated on her day and progress is above and beyond any nursery app I have used prior. I cannot think of a single fault. She loves nursery, her friends and the staff and think she will be sad when she has to leave for school, that she is more than ready for, despite being one of the youngest in her year group, thanks to the support she receives from the nursery. Can't wait for her little sister to start also!

My daughter has been attending U1R Nursery for just over a year now and she has the most amazing time there. She has made so many friends since joining and is constantly talking about them, as well as the members of staff whom she absolutely adores! The setting is great with the staff setting out so many engaging activities every day for the children, as well as constant access to the gardens. She absolutely loves playing with the mud kitchen! I love the updates that you receive during the day via the app as well as the detailed observations from the staff of what your child has been up to during their time at nursery. My daughter has become so much more confident since joining U1R Nursery and we cannot wait to see how she progresses during the rest of her time there! Thank you so much to the whole team!

My child has been at U1R since they opened, and has had nothing but a wonderful and supported time at nursery. She has started learning phonics with teachers and is doing wonderfully. The head of nursery has handled using my university grant so amazingly and has made it so easy for us. Couldn't recommend the nursery more - a clean, beautiful space indoors and outdoors where children are cared for.

My son has been attending the setting since 9 months and I can not put into words how much he has done since being there. Their whole ethos is exactly what I wanted as a mother and the care he receives, I feel instantly at ease knowing he is there. The staff are incredible, attentive, knowledgable and really know the children's personalities, and I am so grateful that he has a space here. He runs in every morning so happy and comes out beaming.
