Funky Owls Nursery Colliers Wood

We are only in our 3rd week for Funky Owls but so far have been really impressed by the quality of care provided for our daughter. The staff have been brilliant and earned our trust in them quickly and the range of activities meals etc appears to be good. They don't have outdoor space but this seems to be made up with excursions on a daily basis.

My daughter started at Funky Owls a couple of months ago and we're really happy with it so far. She seems well taken care of and enjoys going there in the mornings which makes drop-off easy. We appreciate the daily updates and it's great to see her engaging in lots of activities throughout the day.

2 months in and the smiles and excitement at drop off are so warming. She really gets excited to go to nursery. Our daughter has developed so much in the short time she's been attending Funky Owls and I'm excited to hear more songs which she's learnt before bed!

My little one is so happy going to Nursery and I can see from pick-up the other children feel the same way. From the reports we get and what we hear from the staff, the children have a range of activities every day. Feedback is really important to the management team and all concerns raised at parent meetings have been addressed. Super happy with this nursery and the staff are doing such a wonderful job. We have been with Funky Owls for a little over one year, since our daughter was 8 months old. We noticed how fast she developed from the very first week. I appreciate the constant feedback about her day and every time she displays a new behaviour or skill. We've had some disagreements at one point, but they were satisfactorily handled by the nursery's management, bringing our trust in their jobs to become even higher. Above all, the excitement our daughter shows at every drop-off gets us very happy and it soothes our hearts that she's being taken care well at Funky Owls.

Communication is very good. We are told how our little one's day has been and what she has been up to at every pick-up, followed by a daily report via an app. And management also send out weekly newsletters. The nursery provides nappies and all meals and they also have a chef on-site, so the quality of food is always good and there is a varied menu. The only downside is they don't have an on-site outside space but this is made up by taking the children out at least once a day for walks and trips. I definitely recommend Funky Owls Nursery.

Funky Owls feels like a family unit, where everyone truly cares about the children. Along with the creative activities, music and yoga classes. The children also venture out to experience the outdoors.

Our eldest started her Funky Owl journey when she was 1 year old. It always seems like a daunting task, starting nursery after your baby has been at home but it was such a smooth transition and I quickly saw just how positive this environment was for our daughter. The staff are nurturing and supportive, the communications are excellent and the little extras along the way are very special. At first, I was hesitant about the lack of outside space but then I realised it was actually a perk because it meant they took the kids out every day, sometimes twice a day on exciting trips like the local farm, the fire station and numerous parks (rather than just relying on a small piece of turf). The food is also excellent! When it came to enrolling our second, it was a no-brainer that it was going to be Funky Owl once again.

We couldn't have asked for a better setting for our twin boys. The team at Funky Owls were fantastic, and the boys loved going there. They had an outing every day and always came home tired out and ready for bed! The chef prepared some great meals for them - I’d often be jealous of the menu myself! The staff all seemed to love working there, and we were always happy with the boy's key workers. We’ve just signed up our one-week-old baby to start next year! Highly recommend.

Our eldest child was enrolled at Funky Owls Nursery from the age of 8 months until 2 and a 1/2 years old. The dedicated staff consistently provided exceptional care, ensuring our little one always emerged with a beaming smile from the day's enjoyable activities. Despite lacking a private outdoor space, the absence allowed for more exciting adventures exploring local parks, farms, and playgrounds on a daily basis. The regular updates, complete with photos and videos, kept us involved in their daily experiences. I wholeheartedly recommend Funky Owls to any parents contemplating it for their children!

The staff were all friendly and professional, and it feels like management cares about their wellbeing. Somehow the chef managed to get my son to eat his veg and it is a testament to Funky Owls that he was so well prepared to start school, even as a newbie. While there's no external space, I think that it's a positive as the children were able to explore a range of outdoor areas nearby. Sadly my youngest now has a small outdoor space in his current nursery and they never go anywhere! Great communication throughout the day with the app with plenty of photos. The price is comparable to others nearby. Funky Owls hosted lots of events throughout the year which was a great way to also meet other parents. My eldest dearly misses the nursery and still talks very fondly of his time there and the friends he has made. All round a fab nursery!
