Acorns is a wonderful nursery - there's nowhere better I'd rather send my kids. The staff are warm, kind, invested, personable and EXPERIENCED. It is an incredibly safe and happy space with a beautiful in and outdoor area for the kids. Beautiful village setting too. Great communication and a real family vibe. Absolutely recommend.
Absolutely love this nursery, my son has been going for over a year and he runs through the doors as he is so excited to go every day. They do a brilliant range of activities from cooking to painting to woodland walks and they have a wonderful forest school area too. Carers are kind, patient and loving and take the time to know what your child needs and things they like to do. They have strong family values and I would highly recommend them.
I have sent my three children to Acorns and it's genuinely like sending them to be looked after by family. There is truly no nursery like it. The team at Acorns are so knowledgeable about children and unbelievably caring. The way Acorns preps them for school is above and beyond what they need to do - they run a parents session, they start PE lessons and they have a leavers Art Gallery to celebrate their time before they start school. I cannot recommend Acorns enough.
Both my son and daughter have gone to Acorns. I couldn't rate it more highly. The staff genuinely care about the children. There is very low staff turnover and they all seem so happy to be there. My children are well loved and cared for when they enter the doors. The nursery is in a lovely setting in the countryside. It is a fantastic feeder nursery for primary school and my son has left with so many friends. They go above and beyond and host fairs, art galleries and preparation for school evenings. If you're looking for a nursery then this should be top of your list.
I've sent two of my three children to Acorns, and will send my third when she is old enough. I couldn't have warmer or higher praise for it. It is truly the most nurturing, wonderful and caring place. The staff there are superb and go over and above to not only look after but really invest in each and every child. I don't know a single parent who has been unhappy with it. Couldn't give higher praise.
Acorns is an incredibly special place. The staff are so highly skilled, passionate, insightful, supportive and caring. The team is so strong and the staff turnover is low because they genuinely love what they do. Our children thrived there. The activities were varied, creative and fun. The staff are always thinking about how to provide the best learning experiences for the children. Our children loved every day and learnt so much. I feel so grateful they started their lives there.
I can not fault this preschool and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a small, incredibly happy preschool.
I have experienced many nurseries, but never one that has come close to Acorns. If you want to drop your children somewhere where they'll be loved, nurtured and enriched just as much or more than at home, you've found the right place.
The best start you can give your little ones. The care is unbelievable, the most nurturing environment with the most incredible team. It's a non profit and that's why I believe the team care so very much for the kids. They put the children first and they have the best time. If I went on to have ten more kids there is no other place I would choose for my kids! They prepared my children for school and made the transition so much easier. They honestly go the extra mile and are praised by the infant schools for the efforts they go to.
