Flower Pots Day Nursery (Tring) is conveniently located at the end of the High Street, with excellent transport links via the nearby A41 and Tring Train Station—making it an ideal choice for local and commuting families.

The nursery spans two purpose-designed buildings and offers four age-appropriate rooms, providing high-quality care and education for children from birth up to 5 years. Each room is thoughtfully equipped with a wide range of resources to support children’s learning, development, and independence at every stage.

Outdoor learning and exploration are a key part of the experience at Flower Pots Tring. The large garden behind the main building features climbing equipment for children aged 3 and above, a dedicated forest area complete with a mud kitchen, digging zones, and a vegetable patch to encourage hands-on learning and connection with nature. At the front of the building, a peaceful nature garden offers additional opportunities for sensory play and outdoor discovery.

Flower Pots believe that nutrition plays a vital role in a child's development. The nursery fees include freshly prepared meals and snacks throughout the day—breakfast, lunch, tea, and drinks—designed to meet the nutritional and energy needs of growing children.

Our son has been with Flowerpots Tring since January 2023 when he was just 7 months old. He is now 3 and thriving in the pre schoolers room. The practitioners have played a pivotal role in all of our sons milestones. They have been a huge support when needed to both our son and sometimes a tearful first
time mum! He throughly enjoys his time at nursery, and has learnt so much in such a short space of time along with so many excellent social skills that will set him up to start school life in just over a year. The patience and kindness all of the staff have shown us has been simply amazing. We highly recommend Flowerpots Tring if you are thinking of sending your little one to nursery.

Our son has been at Flower Pots, Tring for almost a year (starting when he was ten months old). Being a first time Mum, I was very nervous about leaving my son at nursery and returning to work. However Flower Pots made the transition a positive experience, providing regular updates throughout the day
on the app. Our son has built a lovely relationship with several carers within Babies, and I am sure that he will miss them when he moves to Toddlers next month. He has developed so much since attending nursery and we are so grateful for all the care and support that he has received whilst at nursery. The activities provided offer great variety and he eats and sleeps well while there. It is a well managed nursery and all the staff that we have encountered are very friendly. I would definitely recommend Flower Pots

If it wasn't for the wonderful staff at this nursery my son wouldn't be thriving at a mainstream school now.
He started at Flowerpots in Tring aged 2.5 diagnosed with Autism, non-speaking, in his own world and they made him feel part of the crew and worked incredibly hard with him independently too.
The staff are so loving and nurturing and he went in so happy everyday. My daughter is there now - currently in the toddler room and loves it too. The activities they provide are great, the outdoor space is brilliant and the food is varied and healthy. Can't rate it high enough and I personally want to say thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

Choosing where to send our little one to was a stressful time when my maternity leave ended. As a professional working in a Children's Services, I was worried about the level of care and stimulation provided by local nurseries but when we took a tour around Flowerpots, we knew we'd found the right place.


Staff across the nursery have always made us feel assured that our little one not only had his basic care needs met, but he is stimulated and has the space to be himself! The staff are creative and kind and instill in our son the same values we do at home, empathy, kindness and a love of learning.


The staff have supported our son from learning to walk and talk, potty training and now phonics. They respond quickly to our concerns and are always happy to take our lead about how we'd like our son to be raised.


We could not recommend them enough.

We're very happy with the care provided by Flower Pots since our daughter started there in January. The nursery is located in a beautiful house just off the high street and has a lovely garden. On sunny/warmer days the children are collected from the garden, it's lovely to see them happy and playing.

Flowerpots has offered wonderful care and support for our two daughters, one of whom is still there now. We felt the Nursery Practitioner in the classroom played a huge role in helping our eldest prepare for school and go in with confidence and a love for learning. Meanwhile, our youngest joined at
one, settled quickly and loves going in to see the team and join in with the various activities. The staff are always friendly and the management team are super responsive if we ever have enquiries on extra sessions etc. Thank you to the team!

Our daughter has been at Flowerpots's in Tring for 6mths in the Baby Room. Shes our second child but it's still daunting to find the right place for first care and for leaving them for the first time. I cannot stress enough what a brilliant experience she has had in Babies, she built a lovely relationship
with a number of the carers in the room and would run in most days without looking back. She loved the routine, she slept well, enjoyed mealtime and adored the garden and outside play. She has loved the crafty activities and has developed her speech and has learnt through play and books. We are so happy with Flowerpots's, it has been perfect for us and for Mabel and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend! 5 stars

My daughters are at Flower Pots Tring and I can't rate it more highly. The staff are excellent and have been brilliant supporting us and putting arrangements in place relating to a health issue. More broadly the nursery provides a great variety of activities and meals and both my girls love it there.

Our daughter has been at the nursery since it opened last September when she was one. We have been so impressed with the genuine care and love shown to the children. There is a real homely warmth right across the nursery. The management are brilliant and really set the tone for the whole team. Plus
the children spend a lot of time outside every day, regardless of the weather, which was important to us. The food and the activities are brilliant too, just reading the menu makes me so hungry!
