S4YC @ Bishop Wilson Preschool & Out of School Club

I completely recommend this preschool. Both of my girls have been here and they have never once said they don't want to go in the morning - they really enjoy it. It's also lovely that it's so close to home, meaning they're making local friends and already starting to engage with the school community. My eldest's transition to reception at Bishop Wilson was seamless thanks to having attended the preschool there.

The staff are amazing - they genuinely care about the children - and the facilities are excellent, very clean, and well looked after. Being a smaller setting also means we've found the children pick up far fewer illnesses compared with our experience at Busy Bees.

Its always so lovely so see how excited and proud my daughters key workers are when she learns new skills, or even the excitement when I drop her off for the day.

My normally clingy toddler is more than happy to leave me at the gate and doesn't look back, which is a testament to how well cared for and how much fun she has at nursery.

When I dropped her off this week (dad usually does the drop offs), she was so excited to see Marianna come to the gate and she stomped her little feet in excitement.

We are so glad we chose you, and you us, for our daughter to grow and learn with you all.

It's been very difficult to leave her with anyone; especially for me, so to see how well she is thriving, clearly how well looked after, cared for, and how excited she is to see you all each day, is a real testament to you all. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts

The staff are truly amazing! They are dedicated, passionate, and always go above and beyond to create a nurturing and stimulating environment, tailoring activities to individual needs and interests. We are so grateful to the manager and her team for making this such a special place.

He hasn't been with them long but his confidence has really improved. I don't have any other nursery to compare this one to but would highly recommend it to anybody asking..!

The only negative I would say is the cost. Compared to my friends out of school clubs it is quite expensive but I don't know if that is because of the size of the school, with there being only a handful of children they do have to recoup the costs. But it's a lifesaver and I'm happy to pay.

My daughter started at Bishop Wilson when she was 2 and absolutely loves it! The staff and setting couldn't be any better, and she skips in every time - so happy to go and play. Would highly recommend!

My little girl loves going to preschool, staff in the setting are caring and welcomed her in straight away. She started just after turning 2 so thought she may take a while to settle in but she hasn’t, and always has a happy smile when I say it’s preschool tomorrow.

Very happy with the staff at Bishop Wilson. This is a very small setting, so the staff and children all spend lots of time together. My daughter really enjoys preschool and enjoys all the activities each day.

My daughter started S4YC pre school in January 2023 and Bishop Wilson school in September 2023 though still regularly attends ‘breakfast club’ with the S4YC team. From the minute she joined last year, I had no worries for her. She and I both love the team, the activities they do, the care they show and everything they taught my daughter when she was in their care full time. I genuinely can’t fault the team and the service they provide and want to say a huge thank you to them all. You’re amazing and make a working mum’s life that bit easier.

My daughter has been in nursery for nearly a year now and she has come on so much since joining. Her confidence and speech have improved massively and I can only thank her teachers for the amazing work they do with the children. I like the fact that the group is small so the children have more 1-1 time with their teachers. They have lots of activities to get involved in and the facilities are great for their age group.
