Our experience with Little Learners has been really fantastic so far. They have been so so friendly and supportive. Our little one has been there for the last couple of months now and its been a joy to see them enjoying it as well as learning new skills! Want to take this opportunity to thank the incredible team for their patience, support, kindness and care.
The nursery and practitioners have been amazing since my child started there earlier this year. It feels like all of the practitioners really put so much effort into getting to know the kids and making sure they feel safe and happy while they're there. There children get to take part in so many different activities and theme days and are supported in learning new skills.
From the very first day, the staff have been incredibly warm, welcoming and supportive, making us feel comfortable and confident that our little one is in the best possible hands.We are so grateful to all the amazing staff for their dedication, professionalism and big hearts. Thank you for creating such a wonderful and caring environment where children can thrive and feel loved every single day.

Incredible nursery! It's extremely daunting as a parent considering a nursery for your child but from day 1 being shown around, settling in days and even to date, I could not fault the nursery one bit. My son absolutely loves going and adores all the staff members he interacts with. He has formed really strong bonds and often talks about them outside of nursery which just reassures me in every way possible that he is happy there. The staff have been incredibly welcoming not just to my son but to me as well understanding it is also a new experience for myself too. It honestly feels like an extended little family. One of the first names my child said actually happened to be a staff member! The handovers and drop-offs couldn't be better. I received a huge smile to set off the day and a really informative and friendly handover telling me exactly what my son has been doing throughout his time there. I know I made the right decision and picked the best nursery for us. Thank you to all the staff.

I can't recommend it highly enough. All of the staff are wonderful and so kind and warm. There are lots of activities for the kiddies during the day, great food, lovely rooms, it is so well run but above all, you have the feeling that the staff really care. Our little boy loves it.

My little boy has settled into Little Learners Ambleside Avenue very well. The staff are all so brilliant, warm, friendly and do such an amazing job. I feel so at ease leaving him there, he smiles whenever we walk into the building. I can see the development and progress that my little one has already made since starting in September. All the staff are very attentive and they give regular updates about my son’s progress. I couldn't be happier with all the teachers and the nursery. Thank you so much!
Great nursery, and great staff. My child loves it there and my older child used to go too. Highly recommended. The choice of food, the outside space, the trips to the local park, and the activities throughout the seasons are all fantastic and I feel my child is learning a lot there.
We love this nursery! All the staff are really friendly and just adore our little one. The facilities have a ‘home’ vibe. At drop off and pick up our little one is always happily playing (or eating) and is so happy to see us!
Our eldest son left last August to go to reception and they prepared him for the next step well.
Our younger boy is at Little Learners and the team supports his needs and requirements in every way. His eyes light up when the girls open the door to him in the morning. He enjoys going, and as a parent, I couldn't ask for more.
It’s a testament to the staff that my little one has settled in so well at Ambleside. She absolutely loves it there and has built such a good bond with the staff, who are so caring. They really go above and beyond and have been very proactive in trying different techniques to encourage our little fussy eater. Communication from the staff is great and I love getting updates on what my little one has been up to.
The nursery itself is spacious and secure, with a lovely little garden area. As parents we have absolutely no hesitation in leaving our child here knowing how well cared for she is!

It is never easy as a parent leaving your child for the day at a nursery. However, my experiences at Ambleside have been top class. The personnel are excellent and never make me feel rushed if I want to enquire about anything. All three of my children have been attending Little Learners Nursery & Preschool since aged 9 months. The youngest has been at the Ambleside setting since December. The setting is fresh, bright and new - my son loves it there and has never cried at separation. The staff have become like family members who have built bonds with my children, two of which are now at school. I have always felt very comfortable with leaving my children in their care.

My 17 month child has been going since the nursery opened and at first he hadn’t spent any time away from me hardly so was very difficult. But he absolutely loves it now, he actually shuts the door on me when I drop him off a morning, which was quite upsetting at first but quite reassuring that he loves it and he can’t wait to get up the stairs. The staff are all really on a level good vibe girls love this nursery so much!

Very good nursery with good personnel. My daughter really enjoys the time she is there. I'm very happy that the personnel is always keeping us up to date on what's happening during the day with our daughter. I can see what she ate, and how long she slept. I really recommend this nursery to others.

Our son (21 months) started at Ambleside a couple of months ago, and he absolutely loves it. It's his first experience of nursery (or even being away from me), but he's grown so much in confidence and now happily waves me goodbye at the door.
The staff have made a huge effort to get the nursery up and running, and everything is top quality. The team are all really friendly and we get regular photos and updates during the day, which is lovely. The meal plans are amazing and he seems to take part in a wide range of activities that he wouldn't normally do at home - including petting the nursery tortoise! His speech is also really developing and we've noticed him coming home with lots of new words.
The location is brilliant, being close to the station. Would absolutely recommend it.

Meet the Team (13)
Becca is Senior Manager assisting and supporting all of the Little Learners branches, helping to grow our brand.
Terri has been working for Little Learners since June 2015, Becca has achieved NVQ Levels 2 & 3 in early years and childcare.
Terri brings a very fresh and enthusiastic approach to all of our settings breathing energy and fun into everything we do.
Terri appreciates the importance of every individual and is keen to push staff and children to achieve all they are capable of.
Becca has various qualifications such as First aider, Fire safety officer, food and hygiene level 2, safeguarding and many more!
Terri is trained to NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and Childcare.
Terri started at Little Learners in June 2015, working towards her level 3 qualification and since then has developed skills to be promoted to room leader, deputy manager and now Acting Trainee Nursery Manager within our Ambleside branch.
Terri is the Lead safeguarding officer.
Terri is Little Learner's Ambleside SEND Coordinator. Within the setting Terri pushes visual timetables, Makaton and aiding special needs children to understand and learn, exceeding their expectations.
Terri is always happy to try new things and confident in her skin.
Terri has many qualifications such as First aid, Fire safety officer, food and hygiene level 2, safeguarding level 3, SEN accreditation and many more.
Shelby completed her Level 3 Apprenticeship in childcare with us and is now a Nursery Room Leader and the Acting Deputy Manager for our Ambleside branch.
Shelby works with our toddler-age children. Shelby holds great bonds with the children; she has shown excellent skills in helping the children progress with their learning alongside the EYFS framework.
Shelby enjoys physical play with the children such as dancing, playing sports, etc. When building obstacle courses for the children, Shelby challenges the children to be able to move around the course in different ways, which the children thoroughly enjoy.
Shelby is the deputy Safeguarding lead.
Shelby has many qualifications such as First aider, Fire safety officer, Food and Hygiene and many more.
Shauna is one of our Nursery Practitioners and joined our team in February 2021.
Shauna started with us as an apprentice working towards achieving her Level 3 qualification and qualified in March 2022. Shauna is the room leader for the 2-3 rooms. it is clear to see that all the children have grown fond of Shauna and enjoy involving her in their activities and games.
Shauna is well known for messy activities and enjoys getting just as messy as the children, Shauna has a brilliant imagination as she continues to bring new ideas and activities to life for the children to explore and enjoy.
Shauna is trained in safeguarding children.
Shauna is a trained first aider; fire safety officer and also has a level 2 food and hygiene.
Shauna is one of our Nursery Practitioners and joined our team in January 2024.
Yolanda is the room leader for the Preschool room. it is clear to see that all the children have built brilliant bonds with Yolanda.
Yolanda ensures all activities are super fun for the children and is always looking for amazing activities to bring to the nursery.
Yolanda is trained in safeguarding children.
Yolanda is a trained first aider; fire safety officer and also has a level 2 food and hygiene, plus many more qualifications.
Gracie is one of our Nursery Practitioners and joined our team in August 2024.
She is the room leader for the baby room and has built beautiful bonds with all the children in her room and within the nursery. Gracie helps the babies settle and develop while they are in the baby room.
Gracie is our deputy SENDco and ensures that all children have the support and help that is needed to help them develop and grow in their early years of learning.
Gracie is trained in safeguarding children.
Gracie is a trained first aider; fire safety officer level 2 food and hygiene, plus many more
Amina is one of our Nursery Practitioners and joined our team in 2016.
She started with us as a sessional practitioner and is now a permeant and valued member of our Ambleside team. All the children are very fond of Amina and is loved by all.
Amina is trained in safeguarding children.
She has many qualifications such as first aid, fire warden, manual handling and many more.
Camillia (Millie) is a level 2 qualified Practitioner and joined our team in January 2023.
Millie is level 2 qualified and has excellent knowledge and understanding working within the 2-3 rooms. Millie is always happy to get down on the children's level and play alongside them during activities. The children are all very fond of Millie.
Millie has completed training to safeguard children.
Millie is currently on maternity leave after welcoming her beautiful twins in August 2024.
Jessica is one of our Apprentice Practitioners and joined our team in September 2022.
She is working towards achieving her Level 3 qualification in childcare and is building knowledge and understanding working within the Toddler room it is clear to see that all the children have grown fond of Jessica and enjoy involving her in their activities and games.
She has completed training to safeguard children.
Jessica is always happy and willing to learn new things to enhance her knowledge and skills.
Leela is one of our Apprentice Practitioners and joined our team in September 2023.
She is working towards achieving her Level 3 qualification in childcare and is building knowledge and understanding working within the baby room currently.
It is clear to see that all the children have grown fond of Leela and enjoy participating in all the fun activities that Leela sets up for them!

Fayola is one of our Apprentice Practitioners and joined our team in January 2023.
