Victoria Park Kindergarten, located in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow, is registered to care for up to 140 children. Housed in a beautifully converted church, the Kindergarten features five thoughtfully designed playrooms spread across two floors, each catering to the various ages and developmental stages of the children.

In addition to the spacious indoor areas, children have access to the enchanting 'Little Secret Garden' and a free-flow internal courtyard. The Kindergarten also utilises six-seater walking buses to explore the wider community, including the Nature Walk, the Library, Whiteinch Bowling Green, and regular visits to Victoria Park itself.

The Kindergarten is dedicated to providing a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment, where children can flourish.
Through a high-quality learning experience, the focus is on promoting wellbeing, respect, and a strong sense of happiness and security for every child.

I love this nursery. The staff is so nice and takes good care of the children. The activities, learning games, dancing, and other activities keep the children engaged. Everyone welcomes children with a big smile that energises the whole mood. I recommend this nursery to every parent.

Both my children have been at Victoria Park Kindergarten. My son will leave this year. An excellent nursery which we really feel part of the family of. All staff know who my son is and ask about daily life. They are all interested in what makes him happy. Staff go above and beyond to make every day
interesting. Support for parents is there when you need it too.

I'm so grateful for the incredible support my child has received at Victoria Park Kindergarten. The staff's dedication to understanding and accommodating my child's unique needs has been truly amazing and definitely makes me feel more settled in leaving him.

Victoria Park Kindergarten is an amazing nursery. The staff are all excellent and the environment is lovely. I feel completely at ease leaving my son for the day. I know he has a great time, is totally safe, gets healthy and nutritious meals and has lots of outdoor play. Thank you all.

Our daughter absolutely loves coming here every week. You are always greeted with a warm welcome at reception and the nursery staff are beyond amazing.
I was worried before returning to work that she wouldn't settle, however, she gets so excited when we pull up in the car.
She has learnt so much
since joining and it's lovely to see her room workers get excited when she hits new milestones.

I have had both of my children in this nursery and would highly recommend it. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. My children are comfortable going in to nursery in the morning and seem to enjoy it. Regular social media group updates are good and communication is also good.

I have two children currently attending Victoria Park Kindergarten and am so happy with the care they receive. The team are caring and kind, they are approachable and responsive when we have questions or the kids have a change in their care needs and they are fun!
One of my kids is particularly shy
and struggles with transitions, she has been supported throughout and thrives in nursery as a result.

I have sent both my boys to the nursery and am very happy with their care. The staff show great relationships and understanding of both boys' needs and everyone within the setting is friendly and welcoming. Any correspondence has been dealt with quickly and efficiently. The range of activities is excellent
and being able to view these on the social media page is great. It would be nice if the weekly plans could be shared digitally since this would allow for discussions to be had at home as well.
In the younger rooms, daily feedback forms are provided which is great but is there a way this could be done digitally (perhaps on an app) as I feel at handover the ladies simply read the paper and then it's handed over. Having a digital app would save on paper and would allow handover to be more focused on the child and the activities they took part in.
Having the staff photos displayed outside the rooms and in reception is a great way of getting to know who is looking after the boys.

Victoria Park Kindergarten has been a great, safe space for my little one to settle into the two years that he has attended now, he absolutely loves it and the staff are amazing from the minute you enter the building and are greeted by the receptionist and the room staff for the children. The activities
they do with the children are amazing and I have noticed an amazing improvement in my child since attending this nursery. I understand how daunting it can be selecting a nursery for your little one but hand on heart, I would recommend Victoria Park Kindergarten to any parent as it has been amazing for me and my child.

Annie Campbell

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2010

Annie Campbell has been a dedicated member of the Victoria Park Kindergarten team since 2010 and became the manager in September 2024. With a deep passion for Early Years Education, Annie takes an inspiring and nurturing approach to ensure every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Her extensive experience and local knowledge, built over 20 years working and living within the community, allow her to connect with families and provide exceptional care and guidance. As a mother of two grown daughters, both of whom attended the nursery, Annie brings a compassionate and empathetic understanding to the needs of both children and parents. Her commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment makes her an invaluable leader in the kindergarten.

Lauren

Lauren McLeod

Job Title: Depute Manager Joined: 2024

Lauren Joined the VPK team late last year.
With her she brings over 10 years experience in Early Years Education.
Lauren is very adventurous and energetic. She adores the great outdoors and is often found making rainy day dens behind the big tree at the Bowling Green, going on critter hunts in the nature walk or making mud pies in our secret garden.

Morgan

Morgan Colbert

Morgan is a firm favourite with all our children and families as well as our staff team and is a key part of the local community. Morgan is passionate about her bike and has recently led the whole staff team in gaining a cycling proficiency coaching qualification. She endeavours to teach every child in VPK to ride a bicycle before starting school.

Kazia started her journey with us 6 years ago as an apprentice and has steadily climbed the ranks. Kazia loves fully immersive learning experiences and can often be found dressed in full puddle suit splashing and spraying in our water room or being buried up to her knees in the sand pod
