I'm really happy with my daughter's kindergarten. The teachers are very kind, caring, and patient with the kids. The environment is safe, clean, and full of fun learning activities. My daughter loves going there every day - I can see how much she's learning and growing. Highly recommended!

My two boys absolutely love this nursery staff are amazing and so friendly the lunches are great for them and they are always learning something new the nursery has also helped me massively with toilet training my oldest

A fantastic nursery. My child loves her teachers who always go the extra mile and learns something new every week. The 3-5 room is amazing and they have so many different activities as well as a great space for free play.

They know everyone by name as you walk in.
We have some pretty serious allergies and from day 1 they have always been ontop of it.
Two members of staff, in particular - both fantastic when it comes to handovers!
My daughter usually comes home smiling, but shattered.

My 1 year old has been coming to VPK for the last 8 weeks. We are so happy with the care she receives. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very caring. We have noticed a big leap in her development since starting at VPK. She gets trips to the park when it's sunny, lots of messy play and time to develop her own skills. The staff cater so well to what she needs (practicing balancing and walking, etc). She always eats her meals and the variety of food offered from the in house catering is excellent. We look forward to our continuing journey at VPK.

We have two children at Victoria Park Kindergarten and cannot rate it highly enough. Both children are cared for in a stimulating and safe environment. The staff in each room are attentive the needs of the children at different stages. The management team are easy to contact (often at the front desk), responsive and caring. Would highly recommend for young children, especially for working parents given the opening hours.

Both my children have been through VPK from the age of one. It's going to be a sad day when my youngest leaves for school this year! The staff have always been so caring and lovely in all the rooms. My children both flourished over their nursery years and have left well prepared and ready for their next big step up to primary school. Lovely staff, great space and lots of trips to the park, library and community. Well done to all at VPK.

Her key workers provide regular verbal updates/electronic record and are effective in supporting her toward goals.

Any concerns or accidents are raised directly and quickly with the parents and any questions we have either in the room or by manager are answered quickly.

Access to outdoors regularly both in gardens and on trips as weather allows.

Everyone extremely friendly and they are outstanding with my child. Lots of toys, trips to the park when it is sunny and food that caters for him being vegetarian and which he eats without fail. He loves going and his development is clear.

Great staff. Very attentive to my wee girl. Staff in the bluebell room all always very positive. I have noticed such a difference in my wee girl. She is now happy going to the staff and has formed a great bond with them

Victoria Park Kindergarten staff are all amazing from management to teachers! My daughter has been here since before a year old and is now 3 and a half and she has always loved going there. They are all so supportive during periods of transition, and their activities are so varied and fun for the kids. I am so grateful to have had such a great experience of my child having had such a lovely time at nursery so far and know she is well looked after whilst I'm at work.

Our son walks in really happy to go to nursery every day! We enrolled him one year ago and the room staff has been great in helping him feel comfortable and he was able to settle in pretty well. We always receive a warm welcome at the reception and the nursery staff are amazing. The management has recently changed and we are super happy with the nursery manager. She has implemented improvements and she is always keen on offering the best support. I really enjoy the updates they provide on private social media where I can see what my son was able to do and how he spends his days. We are thankful for having this nursery close to our home and we are looking forward to enrolling our other wee baby soon! We definitely recommend it.

Staff and management are familiar and friendly with children across all stages, not just in their own room, which in our experience has made the transitions from room to room much easier for our little girl as she grows up through the nursery. There is a uniquely warm and friendly atmosphere in Victoria Park Kindergarten. Every person who enters is greeted by name which is something I can't say for any other nursery I've been to, and this goes some way to demonstrating just how much effort the staff put into getting to know the families.
Any concerns we have had in the 2 years our children have attended the nursery have been resolved quickly and sensitively by the wonderful headteacher, who makes a huge effort to have a special bond with each and every child.
I would highly recommend Victoria Park Kindergarten to any prospective parents.

I can see what my child has been learning and his next goals and achievements will be. I can add photos from home to share with his peers and this helped when my son was learning to walk and talk.
The nursery does so much with the kids indoors and out, it's great to see them all at the park or out on walks to book bugs. As a working parent, it's difficult to manage to have the kids experience everything and that's what I love about Victoria Park Kindergarten they have such a vast array of experiences for my children it's wonderful to see in their photos and hear about it in the daily diary and even throughout the day sometimes a wee sneak peek on the social media page for my child's room let me see what they are doing and allows me to share the experience. This is a great nursery and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Her learning would not be where it is if she hadn't been coming here for the last year. Always surprises us every couple of weeks with something new she's learned that I haven't taught her at home. This week it was noticing her doing hand actions to wheels on the bus when it came on tv during Cocomelon.
Staff are all lovely and friendly and my daughter is more than happy in the mornings to see them all.

Our second child is at Victoria Park Kindergarten now and so we have had 4 years experience with them. They have created the most caring of communities, many of the staff looking after the youngest looked after the eldest as well which says a lot for their turn over of staff. They are so flexible and nothing is ever an obstacle for them to accommodate the needs of the kids.

I have an 18-month-old at the nursery and my 5-year-old did 4 years in this nursery. The staff have been incredible with both children. The first one joined during COVID and the staff were warm and friendly with the children while sticking to all safety/health requirements. Our experience has also been equally good with our second who has enjoyed his first 6 months there. He has strong connections with the staff and he has lots of fun activities during the day. My only request would be for the children to spend more time outside (summer and winter).

Meet the Team (4)
Annie Campbell has been a dedicated member of the Victoria Park Kindergarten team since 2010 and became the manager in September 2024. With a deep passion for Early Years Education, Annie takes an inspiring and nurturing approach to ensure every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Her extensive experience and local knowledge, built over 20 years working and living within the community, allow her to connect with families and provide exceptional care and guidance. As a mother of two grown daughters, both of whom attended the nursery, Annie brings a compassionate and empathetic understanding to the needs of both children and parents. Her commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment makes her an invaluable leader in the kindergarten.
With her she brings over 10 years experience in Early Years Education.
Lauren is very adventurous and energetic. She adores the great outdoors and is often found making rainy day dens behind the big tree at the Bowling Green, going on critter hunts in the nature walk or making mud pies in our secret garden.
Morgan is a firm favourite with all our children and families as well as our staff team and is a key part of the local community. Morgan is passionate about her bike and has recently led the whole staff team in gaining a cycling proficiency coaching qualification. She endeavours to teach every child in VPK to ride a bicycle before starting school.
Kazia started her journey with us 6 years ago as an apprentice and has steadily climbed the ranks. Kazia loves fully immersive learning experiences and can often be found dressed in full puddle suit splashing and spraying in our water room or being buried up to her knees in the sand pod
