Canopy Shrewsbury is situated in the spacious building and extensive grounds of the former Four Crosses Inn near Bicton.

The nursery has been designed to create a unique, child-orientated habitat which invites curiosity and exploration. Indoor and outdoor areas flow, encouraging discovery and play outside. The indoor garden provides children with even greater access to natural resources.

Using their own unique pedagogy, the ‘Canopy Code’, they aim to enrich the experiences of children and bring the EYFS alive by developing children's skills as Curious Explorers, Confident Communicators, Independent Learners and Inquisitive Thinkers.

Our daughter has been attending Canopy’s Pippins class for a few months now. We cannot believe the quality of care she has had so far.
When I pick her up from the school, she is always in an amazing mood and has clearly enjoyed her time there. The staff always take the time to talk to me at pick ups
to let me know how our daughter has got on that day.
We have also been massively impressed with the food provided at the nursery. She receives a really impressive and diverse range of meals while attending, made even more impressive by the fact that she is vegetarian.
We get regular updates about our child’s development through their app, which is really brilliant and makes us feel much more connected to her time.
Every interaction we have had at the nursery has been a positive one and we highly recommend it as a place to take your child.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for her preschool year and absolutely adored it. The manager and her team of care are second to none. The creative, natural and innovative ways they play and teach makes you wish you could stay there all day too as a parent. Catering for the shyest, to the
most confident and forward child in every way imaginable.
The set-up from the garden, modern equipment and parent's room you can use if you want a new space to work or even calm your separation anxiety is nothing short of exceptional. Accommodating and wonderfully interactive with our whole family, always. I truly can not recommend them enough. The manager has most definitely created a happy and welcoming environment, giving the children the space physically and mentally to grow and flourish in their own unique ways.
My daughter was in Russets with one staff member and we are going to miss them so much and wish them an absolutely wonderful future shaping many little minds of Shrewsbury going forward.

My son started Canopy when he was almost 8 months old. The staff were amazing at supporting his transition and with my own nerves as a first-time mum.
The staff are brilliant at passing on information and sharing any milestones or progression they see. My son is always happy to attend, he is familiar
with the staff who are always smiling and positive.
I recommend this nursery to anyone who has children in the area and cannot praise them enough. Thank you Canopy.

Excellent all round - friendly staff, engaging activities and outstanding care. My son is very happy when he’s dropped off and loves the variety of activities on offer. Always happy and a bit tired from a busy day.

Our child has been going here since February 2023 and we have been extremely happy with the service, the staff that work and the overall experience we have had. Our daughter loves going there, playing with toys, painting and being in the outdoors, and I'm certain she loves eating the food they provide.
They use the app and keep us updated regularly. Couldn't recommend this place enough. 10 out of 10 services.

Amazing, friendly and caring staff who know your child really well. A great range of activities are carried out for learning and fun, plus lots of time spent outside and talking about nature. My little ones are both super happy there!

Absolutely fantastic nursery. I was very reluctant to put my daughter in nursery as I wasn't sure how she would feel etc. as she had only had family care for her up until the age of 3, but it was the best decision I could ever make. My daughter absolutely loves it! She does so much activity-wise, also
her food diary is incredible, really good varied diet (like a restaurant). Also the children get to go outdoors a lot which I love and think is important. I like the fact when you pick up and drop off you can see what the children are doing, they aren't brought to you or hidden behind doors. My daughter absolutely loves the staff also, she comes home and tells me about everyone, and says 'mum they are so kind and polite at nursery'. I highly recommend this nursery and wouldn't use anywhere else!
