Since my daughter has been going nursery I have noticed a change in her. She's more social and enjoys joining in more. Any concerns are dealt with straight away and the staff are friendly and easy to talk too. She enjoys coming into nursery and seeing the staff and enjoys letting us all know what she
has been up to whilst at nursery.

Muddy Boots has been a wonderful place for our son and daughter. The staff have been great and a consistent positive presence in our children's early year. We will really missing coming to Muddy Boots when our son starts school in September. I have never 'quibbled' when the fees have been put up. It
is a difficult and skilled job looking after children and pay needs to reflect this more!

Muddy boots at the Market is a fantastic nursery. My little girl has been attending since April 2024 and she has gained so much confidence since joining. All the staff are super friendly and caring and I love that we get sent daily updates and photos on how her day is going. We would highly recommend
this nursery to anyone!

Our twins are in this nursery. They are Absolutely brilliant ; manager & teachers alike! Consistent & constant staff members, approachable, always with a smile & welcoming feel, caring, sweet, attentive and on point make this place a gem of a place. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you very much xx

Both of my children attend Muddy Boots at the market and we would very highly recommend. All the staff are friendly, caring, attentive and hugely supportive of both children and parents.
The nursery offers a stimulating and joyful learning experience with an array of activities for all ages to help
engage and encourage.
Staff are great with their communication and we get updates daily on how our children have got on with their day. Both of my children consider the nursery a safe space which to me is priceless.

Both my daughters love nursery and adore everyone there who cares for them. They've thrived since starting and have gained so much confidence. Three staff members especially have worked closely with my eldest to help her express and process her emotions. I wholeheartedly trust that my babies are being
looked after exceptionally while they're not with me and are in the care of the wonderful staff at Muddy Boots. I've had the girl's autumn reports and I couldn't be prouder of how well they're doing and know that it's down to the efforts of all the ladies working with them.

Our son has been attending Muddy Boots at the market since September 2022 and although it took him a while to settle in, he absolutely loves it there now. The staff treat him as one of their own and have been so supportive of him and helping him grow. They are always creating different and exciting
learning environments for the children and our son has grown massively in confidence and ability since he joined. Would highly recommended it.

Job Title: Manager

Hi, I’m Vicki. I began my early years journey over 20 years ago as an apprentice, building my experience from the ground up. In July 2024, I became Manager of the very nursery where my career first began, which is a full-circle moment that means a great deal to me.


I believe the early years provide the foundation for everything that follows. Children thrive when they feel safe, supported and truly listened to, and I am passionate about creating a child-centred environment where they can explore their interests, build confidence and grow at their own pace.


As a mum of four, I understand how important it is for families to feel reassured and connected. Building strong relationships with parents and creating a welcoming, community-focused nursery is at the heart of everything I do.


The most rewarding part of my role is the relationships we build each day — listening to children’s stories, watching their confidence grow and being part of those early years that shape who they become.


I would love to welcome you to our nursery in Tiverton and show you around, so you can experience our warm and nurturing environment for yourself.
