Both my daughters love nursery and adore everyone there who cares for them. They've thrived since starting and have gained so much confidence. Three staff members especially have worked closely with my eldest to help her express and process her emotions. I wholeheartedly trust that my babies are being looked after exceptionally while they're not with me and are in the care of the wonderful staff at Muddy Boots. Hi, I’m Vicki. I began my early years journey over 20 years ago as an apprentice, building my experience from the ground up. In July 2024, I became Manager of the very nursery where my career first began, which is a full-circle moment that means a great deal to me.
I believe the early years provide the foundation for everything that follows. Children thrive when they feel safe, supported and truly listened to, and I am passionate about creating a child-centred environment where they can explore their interests, build confidence and grow at their own pace.
As a mum of four, I understand how important it is for families to feel reassured and connected. Building strong relationships with parents and creating a welcoming, community-focused nursery is at the heart of everything I do.
The most rewarding part of my role is the relationships we build each day — listening to children’s stories, watching their confidence grow and being part of those early years that shape who they become.
