Little Garden The Carshalton Day Nursery and Pre-School

Managed to see my little boy take his first independent steps when picking him up from nursery. Really put this down to the great set-up the nursery has mixing the smaller children with the older ones (separated by a little fenced area). It was one of the reasons why we chose Little Garden over some of the larger ones which felt too sectioned off. Seeing and learning from older children has really helped our little one develop with confidence. The staff are all fantastic and constantly encourage the children to have fun while learning. Would highly recommend it, especially for children with no older siblings to learn from. A great nursery with a lovely set-up, very pleased we chose Little Garden.

My child absolutely thrived since she has joined the nursery. I am blown away by her advance in words and intelligence over the last 6 months She constantly chats about the staff and other kids and barely says bye as she walks in. She also clearly loves all staff! I feel so happy leaving her here and trust she is looked after so well.

It was a great experience. We are so happy with our son's development. He has really flourished. Thank you to all the amazing staff.

Awesome team, awesome facilities, happy little munchkin. All you could ask for a busy little toddler who needs a lot of stimulation and entertainment. Our little one’s development has come on leaps and bounds since going in full-time. Really happy with the different activities and space for the little ones to run.

My nephew has been attending Little Garden since December 2023 and since then, he has grown in confidence and is showing everyone what he has been learning with his songs. I have collected on a few occasions and the staff are always happy and very friendly easy to talk to and ask about the day, they provide sports and music sessions for all the children.

Our son loves going to preschool each day. It is his favourite place to be. The teachers are wise, caring and great role models. Our son loves playing in the garden and the wide range of activities from the reading corner to the fit-and-fun sessions. The preschool provides incredibly important and valuable life skills in helping children to socialise and be ready for primary school. This is all done in a natural and age-appropriate way. Our son asks to go to nursery every day and for us that speaks volumes about the brilliant experience at the preschool.

Of course, with a two-year-old not everything is smooth sailing and once the settling sessions ended she had a couple of days where she was unhappy being left at nursery. I was pre-warned by the staff that this could happen so although I wasn’t expecting it, I had been prepared about this! The staff were very honest and open with me which is so important for me. They even took the time to phone me to reassure me that my 2-year-old was absolutely fine once I dropped her! Overall we absolutely love the nursery and I can see how much my toddler is thriving! Thank you.

I couldn’t have chosen a better place for her and I’m so happy I chose Carshalton Day Nursery and Pre-School. I genuinely cannot speak highly enough of everyone and everything here and the fact that my daughter cannot wait to leave in the mornings to go back, speaks volumes! Knowing that she is loved and cared for out of home is all you can ask for and I would recommend it to anyone. Will be a sad day when we have to leave you!

We love this nursery preschool. The setting of the nursery is amazing. The staff is very caring, nothing is too much to ask. We are always kept aware of activities the children do. My child is learning new things every day, language has progressed a lot over the year, and social skills and confidence. The nursery is always bringing in new toys and activities. I am very happy that the nursery decided to work extended hours for other parents in need. Thank you!

My daughter is coming to the end of her first year at The Carshalton Day Nursery and what a difference we have seen, she has blossomed beautifully during her time there so far, she is excited to share her days with us, loves looking through the regular photo updates with me and remembering what she did that day, her speech, social skills and understanding has all improved massively. The staff are wonderful, always willing to listen and help and my daughter adores them all. I am keeping my daughter in this nursery for her 2nd year come this September.

All staff very friendly and brilliant with the children. Constantly keeping us up to date about the progress our children make. My daughter has learned so much in such a short period of time. She’s always in a good mood after school too which suggests she is having fun and being well taken care of.

From first setting foot in the nursery, when searching for a placement, I knew I wanted my son to attend here. Since joining, the staff have been welcoming and supportive and I enjoy seeing through the app and hearing from my son all about his enjoyable days at nursery. His first day he didn't was to come home! His learning has really accelerated too, regarding his writing and numbers, and I feel this is down to the time the staff take with him. It really is a wonderful nursery. The children are happy and I've heard nothing negative from my son, only how much he loves his teachers and his nursery. Would 100% recommend.
