Focused on providing high quality childcare and education, Sidcup Day Nursery & Forest School is a 60 place nursery located in a residential area in Sidcup. Close to public transport links and easy to access by car, it's a great setting for local families with busy lives.

In a purpose built setting, the experienced team work hard to offer a homely environment where children feel comfortable to play, explore and learn in a variety of different ways. The area is designed to engage and stimulate children, promoting development at every stage through age appropriate resources and activities.

An onsite chef prepares varied meals and snacks for children each day, focusing on nutrition whilst also providing opportunities to try new foods. Any dietary requirements can be catered for.

The nursery is open Monday-Friday from 7:30am-6:30pm and offers full and part time places for children aged between 3 months and 5 years.

I have had 2 children at the nursery, both have loved their time there and have left being totally prepared for school and having made lovely friendships. The staff are friendly and helpful. The trips and activities are wonderful. There is plenty of food variety and the garden is lovely.

I cannot recommend Sidcup Day Nursery enough! My son joined at 14 months old until he was 2.5 years old and in that time he flourished, his speech developed tremendously, he became more social and friendly, he learnt to like new nutritious foods and he just genuinely enjoyed going to nursery each morning.
The nursery provided a varied, stimulating range of activities to do every day and I loved that they have a forest school so he could be outside with nature as well. The environment was made even more appealing due to the amazing staff working there, who were always smiling and welcoming, not only of my son but were also very friendly with myself and my partner. We were always kept in the loop about everything and albeit always professional, it genuinely felt like a little family. The team have really helped my son grow and thrive in such important years of his life and I will always be so thankful to them. I wish them all the very best and again, thank you!

The nursery staff are supportive and caring, my little one has settled in so well and is so excited to arrive each morning! The activities the babies participate in every day are varied and are designed with their development in mind. I’m so pleased with the food that the dedicated chef prepares each
day, it’s exposed my baby to foods they haven’t had at home. I love that I’m kept up to date with how my baby is doing throughout the day via the app, and if there’s anything important I need to know about, the staff will call me promptly. There have been a couple of episodes of miscommunication but this is a busy nursery with lots of staff. Overall, I’m very happy with the nursery and my little one is thriving here!

I would highly recommend this nursery to all parents who are looking for a small yet friendly and supportive environment to nurture their child growing up.
My son has been attending this nursery full time from 1 year old and we have seen an amazing transformation which we credit the nursery.
From
development skills to independence and the mud kitchen; my son comes home every day full of stories. As a parent, I love the daily updates on the app and also the friends he has made not only his nursery friends but all the parents and teachers too.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was 1 year old and will be 4 next month and absolutely loves it. She has really come out of her shell here and has really developed, so I thank all the lovely teachers who have been helping and supporting her in every way.

My daughter is settling very well at this nursery; she's also started to speak some words. They do a lot of engaging activities and have an amazing forest school and playground. My daughter loves it.
The staff are very helpful, patient and friendly; they always give me good feedback on how her day
has been.
So, I highly recommend this nursery.
The management is really good.
I cannot thank them enough to look after my little girl and help her grow.

The nursery is a warm and welcoming environment for both children and parents. It has a ‘homely’ feel and always the smell of good home-cooked food from the kitchen, with a good variety of meals. The staff are caring and professional and there are lots of activities for the children to do throughout
the day and a high level of learning.

From the moment we walked into Sidcup Day Nursery, we knew it was the one! It has a lovely homely feel and the staff are all fantastic and showed a genuine interest in our son from the get-go and made him feel really welcome. They've created an inspiring, stimulating and playful environment which our
son thoroughly enjoys, evident by the fact that bounds through the front door every morning! The facilities are excellent and our son loves the outside space (including the mud kitchen!) and the forest school is great for him to explore the outside and learn about nature. All in all, I can't recommend this place enough. It's given our son a great start, enabling him to make lots of friends, learn lots of new things and set him up for the next chapter when he starts primary school next year! Thanks to the whole team!

We have had a very positive experience with the nursery so far. Our little one loves spending time in the nursery and she loves the staff/teachers.
Staff is very helpful with updating us through the application used regarding what the little one has been up to throughout the day, which allows us to
know how she is doing, even though we are not next to her.
Knowing the little one will be happy and safe during her time in the nursery puts our minds at ease while we are working throughout the day.

The nursery is very inclusive and children are exposed to a variety of cultures and mark different celebrations. All the staff are extremely personable and listen and respond to the needs of each child. The nursery has a huge outdoor space and the children go out into the garden every day. The daily
activities are well-planned and never seem to repeat, allowing the children to explore their senses. My child absolutely loves the food, which is nutritious and varied. I am really glad that I sent my child here as they are thriving and can't wait to get in for breakfast in the morning!

Amazing nursery and pre-school, really helped build my daughter's confidence so she is ready for reception. The manager, the nursery manager and the rest of the team really are so caring and kind. I would highly recommend this nursery as I always knew my daughter was cared for and happy and on the days
she was a-bit upset the manager was there to rescue the day.

Our daughter started at Sidcup Day Nursery in February 2023 when she was ten months old. The ladies looking after her are absolutely wonderful, we couldn’t be happier with the care she receives. We were originally at another nursery, but did not have a good experience and thus quickly made the decision
to move to this nursery. I felt very apprehensive about the nursery environment based on the first experience, but Sidcup Day Nursery was everything I hoped the setting would be. Everyone is warm, nurturing and welcoming. The staff are really engaged with the children and seem to know all of their characters well. I’ve always found the ladies willing and happy to discuss care, food, naps etc. Our daughter naps and eats really well at nursery, the food always smells incredible at drop off! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sidcup Day Nursery.

Wonderful nursery with the most loveliest of staff. My daughter is always so excited to go and loves being there. They are well looked after and get the most fantastic care. I am extremely happy with this nursery and would recommend it to anyone thinking of sending their children there.

Excellent service.
Extremely friendly and helpful.
My toddler has learned so much over the years they have been there in the way of alphabet, numbers and creativity as well as amazing social skills and is sad to leave for school.

My son enjoyed his time at both Family Tree Nursery and Sidcup Day Nursery. He was well looked after and very well cared for. The managers and staff in the different rooms always had useful tips on how to engage and settle him and were extremely patient and helpful throughout. He had an excellent foundation
at both nurseries and is progressing very well in Primary School. We still have his graduation picture up in our living room and he has lots of wonderful memories of his time at both nurseries. I highly recommend both nurseries to parents considering the option of putting their little ones into day care.

I have two children who currently attend Sidcup Day Nursery and Forest School and I can honestly say that they are truly happy here. I have watched my children grow into well-rounded individuals all with the help of the school. Special mention to the manager, who treats my children like her own, another
lady whom my son adores and a lady whom my other son looks up to and constantly wants to impress. I am grateful that I found this nursery.
If you are considering sending your children here then please do! It's small enough to feel like home from home whilst not compromising on standards of education. Thank you Sidcup Day Nursery and Forest School!
