The Playhouse Nursery

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone at The Playhouse Nursery for the care they provided, and we would definitely recommend them.

The nursery is amazing, my daughter is so loved and so happy there. She always comes home with a massive smile on her face. The atmosphere, warmth and love from the staff are everything. My daughter has been attending for the last 2 years and is currently in the preschool room. I can say without a doubt she has made tremendous progress and they understand my child's needs and tailor-made some learning for her. It's impressive how they have prepared my child for school and we believe she will have a smooth transition to school in September.

I could not be happier with The Playhouse Nursery. All the staff are lovely, supportive and caring. My 7-month-old settled in and has been attending for 1 year and loves attending nursery. The facilities are bright and clean and the soft play area is amazing. Activities are fun and varied and support development. Overall a fantastic experience for us!

My daughter attended The Playhouse Nursery from September 2023 to June 2024. She enjoyed going there and enjoyed all activities organised by the nursery. Despite me not being able to speak to the staff directly due to being a full-time working parent, I was informed via email of all the activities, or the progress that my daughter was making on a daily basis. Highly recommended for toddlers and children. Thank you again.

We had a wonderful time at the nursery, but sadly, we had to find a new one because we moved. Leaving here brings bittersweet feelings, as we cherish the warm memories we've made. Our daughter adored the cuddles and home-like feel of this place. The caring staff made it truly exceptional. We're thankful for the nurturing environment and the positive impact it had on our daughter's growth. We'll miss you dearly.

Our daughter is 20 months old and has been attending The Playhouse Nursery since she was 11 months old. We are really happy with the care she receives. All members of staff welcome her with a smile in the morning and she has always been happy to separate from us. The home-from-home environment they create is so nurturing and loving. The team have been supportive of our child’s dietary needs and they ensure she has a varied diet and eats well. We love the fact that the nursery is clean, tidy, and extremely well-resourced and the soft play area ensures our child and others are physically challenged in their development. I work within Early Years so visited many local nurseries when looking for a place for our daughter and instantly appreciated the set-up of the learning environment, the equipment and the ethos of the management. The children are exposed to so many learning experiences and our daughter has made a real connection with her key worker and peers.

My son has been attending this nursery since it opened. He is currently in the pre-school room and he really has come on leaps and bounds. He always comes home happy and has a smile. The ladies in the room are so friendly and it is not just limited to the rooms - each and every member of the team know him by name. That gives us a great comfort. I cannot recommend them enough - definitely worth taking a look if you’re thinking of a nursery for your child.

Staff is lovely and my daughter gets cuddles and attention. There is also Spanish stuff that I am sure they encourage my child to speak in Spanish which is a plus.

From the open day in 2022 till today, I am so happy I took my children out of another local franchise nursery and enrolled them into The Playhouse Nursery!

We have had a wonderful experience sending our 17 month old daughter to the Playhouse Nursery. The staff are so warm and welcoming and my daughter settled in very quickly because of that. She is so excited to go and has formed close bonds with the staff. We receive regular updates about the types of activities she is doing, which are always very age appropriate and educational. We would recommend the nursery to everyone thinking of sending their child!

Our one-year-old has been attending for a few months now and loves it. She settled in easily and is always excited to see her teachers in the morning, going to them happily. We receive reports of her activities and love to see the stretch and learning incorporated into the fun. We are very happy with her care and all the teachers are lovely.

As a parent of a child with eating challenges, I am incredibly thankful for the nurturing and genuinely supportive environment that our son has found at this nursery. Unlike other nurseries we explored, Playhouse stands out for its understanding and flexibility in approaching our child's specific needs. While other places seemed more rigid and adhered to a one-size-fits-all approach, the staff here took the time to tailor their methods to his unique challenges. Their willingness to adapt and provide individualized support has been a game-changer for us. They have shown unwavering patience in helping him develop a healthier relationship with food and their thoughtful approach to mealtimes has led to consistent progress. We feel reassured and comforted knowing that he is in the hands of such caring professionals who genuinely care about his well-being. Thank you for being an essential part of our child's growth and development.

Unfortunately, our time was cut short there because we moved abroad, but in the time that my daughter was there, her speech developed greatly, she did so many great activities, including having visits from the fire brigade and police and it has been so nice to see her development from all that she has done and learnt from the Playhouse Nursery. She definitely misses the nursery and still talks about the staff there!

We are so happy that we chose The Playhouse Nursery! Our daughter started there at 10 months old and even though we felt nervous to leave her there at such a young age, the staff took such great care of her and gave her all the support she needed. The change in her confidence and skills is so noticeable; she has become much more independent and is excited to go to nursery now, chatting about her carers all the way there. The staff have great communication and put so much effort into planning fun and varied learning activities for the kids. The facilities are also great - the soft play is a big hit! Highly recommend.

My triplets have been with the team from when they first opened and it has been a beautiful experience for them to grow into the big boys they are now, the nursery is so spacious and such a fun space for the kids and not to the mention the soft play they have inside, better than another indoor activity centre so my boys say. The staff are also very amazing the manager and his team the kids sing their praises every day and without them God knows where I would be!

This is a lovely family run nursery! The staff are warm and caring. They have an amazing indoor soft play area and an outdoor space. They do brilliant creative activities for the kids and also have visitors (a pilot and police men recently). The nursery has air conditioning which is great in summer! My two sons go there (age 2 and 4) and I’d highly recommend! Also, the age groups meet a little throughout the day, which I think can be nice for siblings!

My children learnt so much during their time there. They loved the soft play area as well as all the fun activities! My 3 year daughter especially, really blossomed into a chatty and friendly little girl. I couldn’t recommend the playhouse nursery highly enough.

So grateful to have such a lovely setting in our neighbourhood.
