At The Playhouse Nursery, your child will learn in a safe, warm and accepting environment. Their atmosphere encourages children to respect themselves and others. Through diverse and creative experiences, they enhance children’s ability to socialise with others, be creative, express themselves and develop.

Inside the nursery, rooms are carefully designed to meet the development needs of each and every child. With dedicated rooms for their various age groups, each room reflects the 7 areas of learning, as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage. The Playhouse Nursery strives for high quality childcare and a learning environment that suits individual development.

A bright interior includes age-appropriate interiors and themes that inspire the imagination, with an indoor soft play and outdoor area.

The menu is diverse with food freshly prepared onsite, and the nursery has received a five-star food hygiene rating from Food Standard Agency.

Our one-year-old has been attending for a few months now and loves it. She settled in easily and is always excited to see her teachers in the morning, going to them happily. We receive reports of her activities and love to see the stretch and learning incorporated into the fun. We are very happy with
her care and all the teachers are lovely.

As a parent of a child with eating challenges, I am incredibly thankful for the nurturing and genuinely supportive environment that our son has found at this nursery. Unlike other nurseries we explored, Playhouse stands out for its understanding and flexibility in approaching our child's specific needs.
While other places seemed more rigid and adhered to a one-size-fits-all approach, the staff here took the time to tailor their methods to his unique challenges. Their willingness to adapt and provide individualized support has been a game-changer for us. They have shown unwavering patience in helping him develop a healthier relationship with food and their thoughtful approach to mealtimes has led to consistent progress. We feel reassured and comforted knowing that he is in the hands of such caring professionals who genuinely care about his well-being. Thank you for being an essential part of our child's growth and development.

From day one it was clear that my daughter loved her nursery. It felt like sending her off to family every day, she connected really quickly and easily with everyone there. The staff throughout the nursery gave her so much attention and love and she formed a special bond with a few.
We were grateful
for the updates on everything that my daughter was doing to develop her skills in the different areas, the pictures and write-ups were helpful to see.
Unfortunately, our time was cut short there because we moved abroad, but in the time that my daughter was there, her speech developed greatly, she did so many great activities, including having visits from the fire brigade and police and it has been so nice to see her development from all that she has done and learnt from the Playhouse Nursery. She definitely misses the nursery and still talks about the staff there!

We are so happy that we chose The Playhouse Nursery! Our daughter started there at 10 months old and even though we felt nervous to leave her there at such a young age, the staff took such great care of her and gave her all the support she needed. The change in her confidence and skills is so noticeable;
she has become much more independent and is excited to go to nursery now, chatting about her carers all the way there. The staff have great communication and put so much effort into planning fun and varied learning activities for the kids. The facilities are also great - the soft play is a big hit! Highly recommend.

The Playhouse Nursery is absolutely amazing...
My triplets have been with the team from when they first opened and it has been a beautiful experience for them to grow into the big boys they are now, the nursery is so spacious and such a fun space for the kids and not to the mention the soft play they
have inside, better than another indoor activity centre so my boys say. The staff are also very amazing the manager and his team the kids sing their praises every day and without them God knows where I would be!

This is a lovely family run nursery! The staff are warm and caring. They have an amazing indoor soft play area and an outdoor space. They do brilliant creative activities for the kids and also have visitors (a pilot and police men recently). The nursery has air conditioning which is great in summer!
My two sons go there (age 2 and 4) and I’d highly recommend! Also, the age groups meet a little throughout the day, which I think can be nice for siblings!

My two children attended The Playhouse Nursery for a year and sadly we had to leave because we moved to another area. I’m glad I chose this nursery because we had the best experience there. The facilities are spacious and clean, they have really caring staff who my children grew quite fond of.
My
children learnt so much during their time there. They loved the soft play area as well as all the fun activities! My 3 year daughter especially, really blossomed into a chatty and friendly little girl. I couldn’t recommend the playhouse nursery highly enough.

Absolutely wonderful nursery! The staff are attentive, professional, loving and kind. I am so happy we chose The Playhouse Nursery for our shy son - it truly feels like a home away from home. He is always happy to go to nursery.
We feel that our son is cared for by the team and this leaves us feeling
content and relaxed. We truly recommend the team and we are so grateful for their care and professional work.
So grateful to have such a lovely setting in our neighbourhood.

Job Title: Manager

I have been in childcare for over 8 years. Within my first 2 years, I completed my CACHE Level 3 Diploma for Children & Young Peoples Workforce (Early Years Educator). Over the years, my passion for children and childcare grew. I have worked with all age groups over the years and I have also been the Room Leader and manager at previous nurseries. I am also trained in SEND and first aid. I am currently the named Designated Safeguarding Lead. I’m incredibly proud of our Nursery and everything that we do to ensure that our children get the best start in life. I am so passionate about the Nursery and ensure all the things we do and provide for the children make every day amazing. My main aim is to provide a home-from-home environment where children will have a safe, friendly and comfortable environment to play & learn in.
