Dunkys Day Nursery (Hapsford)

We've been here a year now and have experienced and loved all 3 rooms. The kids are excited to go in every day and the small class sizes means every single staff member knows each kid and their personality. The kids have learnt loads and it feels like they are individually cherished and challenged, rather than merely cared for. The billing is clear and fair and we have been able to book extra sessions with a few weeks notice.

As parents, it has been lovely to watch how much he has grown and developed during his time here. We would like to thank the team for being part of his early years and wish them all the best for the future.

Our experience at the nursery has been fantastic. Both our two-year-old and five-year-old have thrived in their care, and they genuinely look forward to attending every day.

The staff are exceptional - warm, professional and clearly dedicated to supporting each child's development. Their key workers have built wonderful relationships with our children, and the regular updates we receive about their days, activities, meals and learning are really appreciated. We always feel confident our little ones are in safe, nurturing hands.

From their approach to teaching and development through to the quality of meals and daily communication, they've excelled in every area. The team's professionalism and genuine care is evident. Our five-year-old left for reception bursting with confidence, a real testament to the foundation they've given him.

Communication with the nursery is easy. The food is wide ranging and has introduced my child to arrange our foods I otherwise wouldn't have given myself

Our son loves hoing to nursery and for me as a first time mom is very comforting. I suffer from post natal anxiety and general anxiety and Dunky's hapsford manager and staff had really put my mind at ease. They helped us adjust, the handovers were a delight, and the app is very useful to keep track of my baby. They are all genuinely caring for all the children. My husband and I recommend Dunky's Hapsford!

The food they provide is amazing and we always know our child will come home having eaten well, with nutritious food. This was an area we struggled with prior to starting, but they have really helped with this as well.

We chose Dunkys for our child because it felt so homely and happy, we are so pleased we did! He has been going over a year now and has loved it from day one, he is always excited to go and has a lovely relationship with the staff. We receive good communication and always met with a friendly smile at the door. Our youngest will be starting there soon, couldn't imagine them going anywhere else!

We honestly cannot rate this nursery highly enough. The staff treat every child as an individual and genuinely take the time to get to know them personally. Reading through our son's yearly review made that so clear, it reflected his personality perfectly, including his likes and interests which was so lovely to see.

The team are always warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful, and it gives us such peace of mind knowing our son is cared for by people who truly know and value him. He has grown so much in confidence and development since attending, and we are so grateful for the care, support and encouragement they provide every day.

A wonderful nursery with amazing staff, we would recommend it to anyone

Both of my children (aged 2 and 4) have attended Dunkys and I honestly couldn't recommend it enough. From the moment they started, they've absolutely loved going and get excited every single day.

The staff are so caring, friendly and attentive, and it's such a lovely environment for children to grow in. I love how much time they spend outdoors exploring, playing and having fun rather than just being stuck inside all day. They're constantly doing different activities and learning through play, and no two days ever seem the same.

Since attending Dunkys, both of my children's confidence, learning and development have come on leaps and bounds. Their speech, social skills and independence have improved so much, and it's been amazing to watch.

As a parent, it's such a reassuring feeling knowing your children are somewhere they are genuinely happy, safe and cared for. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Dunkys and I'm so grateful for everything they do for our children.

Lovely nursery! Our girls love it and are so happy there. So much outside play which we like. Caring, attentive staff who the girls have a great relationship with. Staff always happy to answer any questions/discuss anything we need to. Our girls have over a year left there and we'll be sad when they leave.

Dunkys Hapsford are a brilliant nursery. My son who's now 7 attended as a tot and my daughter aged 1 is currently there. All of the staff are lovely, communicate really well and genuinely care. The nursery itself has so much outdoor space for exploring which is a huge bonus especially in the warmer months. I couldn't fault them, my daughter is very happy and is always really excited to go in!

I feel that dunkys is a safe place and all of the staff are friendly and approachable.

Leaving your baby at nursery when they're still so young is such a scary and emotional step, but from the very beginning the staff made me feel reassured and supported.

All of the staff are lovely, warm and welcoming, and the team in the baby room who work with Sienna genuinely care about her and her development. It's clear they take the time to get to know each child individually.

Sienna is always happy to go in each morning, which honestly speaks volumes as a parent. I also love that all of the food is cooked fresh every day.

Overall, we've had such a positive experience and I'm so grateful to have found a nursery where my daughter feels happy, safe and cared for.

Dunky's Hapsford is a fantastic nursery, all staff are wonderful and my little boy absolutely loves attending. Staff go above and beyond and have great communication with parents. We couldn't ask for a better nursery for our little boy.

My daughter has been with this nursery since she was 1 years old, she has loved and cherished every moment she has shared with them. The staff are kind, caring and accommodating to each child and their need. My daughter had additional, and rare medical needs and they went above and beyond and showed genuine care for her even when she was absent and recovering. She starts school this September and thanks to the staff at this nursery she is beyond ready to begin her next adventure. There is a nice mix of staff ages, some have children some don't and that mix makes a difference to the feel of the place parents have practitioners who can relate to their bad days and the children always have a practitioner who meets their needs which I think is lovely. The holiday club is also a hit with my 8 year old who is excited to return this summer.

We have really enjoyed our experience so far with Dunky's Hapsford. The staff are excellent and caring and give us good feedback. They always tell us the activities the children have been up to each day. They really care about the children in their care. The children play outside a lot when the weather allows which is one of the reasons we picked this nursery. Overall the experience has been great.

Love this nursery. My lad is my first and only baby and he has been in this nursery since he was 8 and a half months old. The staff at this nursery are wonderful and he absolutely loves going. Never tears at the door. They have dealt so well with us though the big emotions and helping us understand how normal it is. Its clearly brilliant for his social skills and he is so happy there. Really looking forward to the forest school !

Moved my little girl from a previous nursery I was having issues with to dunkys in hapsford and it was the best decision we ever made! She has come on so much and has become unbelievably confident. Can't thank the staff enough.

My son has been here since he turned 1 he's now 3 and a half and it's amazing how much he has come on from attending and he's only there two days a week! All the staff are lovely and I felt as I could trust them straight away which was so reassuring sending my first child to nursery! He has learnt to be so independent and his speech is fantastic. There outside exploring/playing any chance they can which i love, he does a great variety of activities every day and comes home telling me amazing story's of what he's done that day! We're going to be sending our second child there soon as we find the nursery to be great!

Dunkys have always been accommodating for us as we use them during holidays as our main nursery attached to the school is term only. They've always made our son feel welcomed and even tho he doesn't attend regularly he never feels anxious about returning. The outdoor space is fabulous and I love the fact they spend so much time outside.
