The Fledglings Day Nursery

The nursery has been very supportive and welcoming since our son started back in 2022. It has been reassuring as parents to send our son to a setting that is so caring. The staff are all very personable and they all seem to enjoy their jobs! We will miss them when he starts school!

First nursery we looked at, and was the best one! Lovely staff, personalised approach to the children, useful opening hours. Feel we have been kept well informed about our child's progress and it's nice to know about her day via the app. Our child clearly loves it which is also great to see. I would definitely recommend!

My son started nursery when he was about 1 year old, he was shy, not confident, didn't like interacting. After a couple of days I saw a massive difference in him and I honestly cannot thank everyone enough for helping bring my son out of his shell and seeing him develop into the boy he is today. It is absolutely amazing, I couldn't thank The Fledglings enough. My son loves coming to nursery. The staff are lovely and always here to help. You get pictures about your child throughout the day which I love. Thank you so much to all the staff.

My children love going to The Fledglings, they have learnt so much from attending. They have great opportunities for them like going for walks in the woods, seeing the animals and visits to other various exciting sites of the college.

I am so thrilled with the experiences my daughter has had at Fledglings since she started at 11 months old to now 2 years. We have seen her grow from strength to strength. The variety of activities offered is fantastic. The fact she comes home nearly everyday with some form of 'original' artwork is testament to how committed the team are at providing the children with new stimulating tasks that help them to grow and learn. Since joining I have seen her confidence and social skills build each day. The nurturing environment and dedicated staff have made the world of difference to her development and I cannot thank them enough.

Our daughter has attended since she was 9 months old. I couldn't recommend them enough. I feel happy that my daughter is in a caring and safe environment. She loves her nursery days and has thrived in their care. Amazing!

My son has been at The Fledglings since he was around 1 years old. He's very sadly leaving next week to start school. All the staff at the nursery have been absolutely wonderful. They promote independence and encourage individuality. My son has developed so much since he's been there- both socially, emotionally and academically. I particularly like the fact that they spend a lot of time outdoors despite weather. They also have an onsite chef and all the food is home-cooked. The meals the children receive are all well-balanced, nutritious and very filling for the children. This was something which was very important to me and a lot of other places I looked round did not provide this. My daughter is also at The Fledglings, she absolutely loves it and has also developed so much since starting! The communication between staff and parents is excellent with regular pictures throughout the day of what they've been up to. Thank you so much to everyone at The Fledglings!
