Play Studio Montessori Nurseries

As a parent, it was heartwarming to see her growing confidence and the sense of community. These events really highlight the nurturing environment the nursery provides, blending fun, learning, and physical development perfectly.

We are very happy with the nursery. The staff are caring, supportive, and always make our child feel safe and welcome. We have seen great progress in confidence, social skills, and overall development.

The team have been extremely supportive throughout the entire process, and continue to show support throughout. The team go above and beyond for all the children in the setting, ensuring that the children have an enjoyable play/ learning experience. It's lovely to see the connections made with each member of staff, the team are polite and always so welcoming. Thank you all so much.

Despite marketing itself as a nursery for working parents, in my experience it offered little flexibility when parents needed it, whilst routinely expecting understanding from parents in return.

Such an amazing environment for a child. Loads of fun and educational based learning. My oldest has just left and is about to start primary and she's learnt so much to help her prepare. My youngest is currently there and she smiles going in. Great communication with any concerns or requests. Amazing food and snacks for the kids.

The school had a great structure for learning and play.

Please, think twice before enrolling your child here. There are better nurseries that genuinely value your child's safety, progress, and emotional wellbeing.

If the staff had the ability to run and coordinate the nursery it would be a wonderful place. Unfortunately, the owner does not allow that to happen. Beware if you are unfortunate enough to raise a dispute/complaint she will get rid of you before the ink dries. The staff who have childcare degrees and qualifications should lead the setting but this does not happen. The manager (all in name only) accidentally disclosed that my child along with other children are being held back without parental knowledge (the room did not meet the legal requirements for space and ratio -safeguarding concern) - when we raised a welfare concern regarding this the nursery ignored all forms of communication, for over a week. The manger then lied and denied without hesitation. Prices were in line with some of the best nurseries in the UK but did not offer anything similar for extra curricular - seems like P.S.M need to charge min £1k per child to stay a float even with funding. We were constantly up sold items.

My daughter has been attending Play Studio Montessori for almost a year and there’s nothing that I can say that can convey how amazing, caring, loving, and supportive the team is! They always go the extra mile and this is reflected in how much my daughter loves to go to nursery, and how much she has learned so far. The curriculum embraces children's flexibility and they stimulate curiosity, independence, and engaging children's interest and creativity. The nursery has a various range of programmes incl. arts, music, parent workshops, cultural activities, practical activities and days out with parents volunteering and being involved. We all know that this is the real investment we all make in this life, the education of our children and the best start they could have in this life, and this nursery stands out above the rest. We have daily updates with pictures and videos and regular progress review meetings. It is a home away from home and the communication and partnership we have with the team is amazing.

I also love the fact that they cook everything from scratch and they have a beautiful outside space/garden. We couldn‘t be happier and are very grateful to have found this nursery.

We chose Play Studio as our nursery due to its Montessori approach to learning and play. Since joining the nursery our child has progressed far beyond our expectations, every day they return happy, settled and singing. The nursery staff update us throughout the day via app and we have a direct line of communication. Recently, they have begun potty training and this has massively supported us at home. There are opportunities for parent involvement at organised events such as trips to the local church and library. As parents, we trust the nursery to look after our child and we would highly recommend them.

The curriculum embraces flexibility to cater to my daughter's needs. The nursery stimulates curiosity and creativity with toys, sensory areas, soothing colours, soft textures and engaging classrooms to outdoor play areas thoughtfully crafted to encourage exploration and interaction, promoting a sense of wonder and curiosity for my daughter. Play Studio offers a range of programs, including music, arts, and cultural activities. These programs enhance the learning experience, helping my daughter develop her interests. Regular updates and progress reviews with a detailed report foster a strong partnership with her key person. The dedication to the engaging curriculum and the emphasis on holistic development make it stand out, setting a benchmark for nurseries seeking to provide exceptional services.

Would I recommend it to friends? Yes, and already did!

Overall we are very happy and will highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to put my son into this nursery. I always wanted to have my children in a Montessori learning environment. I would not want anything else for my son. The employees are so attentive and have the absolute best interest not only of my son but for me and how I am managing life as a parent, especially as a first-time mum. I’m always able to kindly decline any form of additional support from the nursery, but with the genuine care and support that is offered, I’m always open to receiving it. Since being in the nursery, it has helped with the struggle of my son's eating as now he is a much better eater; they have a variety of foods which dietary requirements are accommodated for. My son has developed his learning and communication significantly! The facilities are secure and very clean and provide different environments for different forms of development. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

Play Studio Montessori Nursery is absolutely brilliant. The learning system for our children and the communication system for us parents is very high standards. The staff and manager are respectful and always welcome us with open arms. Love the new app they have now. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nursery for their little one to look into this amazing place.

My child has only been at this nursery for a few days but I can already tell he is going to love it here. He came home in such a great mood, and barely even noticed that I'd arrived at the nursery at home time because he was having so much fun. He comes home clean, and I am always well informed of what he has done and how his moods have been throughout the day. I'm glad to have such a lovely team of staff taking care of him while I work. I was really afraid as he was born during the pandemic and finds it difficult around new people but the team has just been outstanding! They have been so professional and patient with my son. He has been given the utmost respect and freedom to express himself. Everything from meeting the team for the first time, and settling days to his first official day at the nursery has been amazing. It’s hard to find professionals that give so much compassion to your child that makes you feel at ease when you're not the one looking after them. Thank you Play Studio team.
