Our Day Nursery

This week marks our last before moving on to Reception and we are incredibly grateful to our day nursery. The children here are all so sweet, friendly, and well-mannered. Every day has been a joyful experience for my child. My son's language skills have developed remarkably fast over the past few months, thanks to the teachers who provide a wide range of engaging activities to help the children grow in all areas. The nursery's garden is especially unique, with my child's favourite spots being the sandpit and the one-of-a-kind water play area. We started here when my son was just two years old, progressing from the toddler room to preschool, and we have been happy with every stage. The management and teachers are also incredibly kind, responsible, and cooperative with parents, always ensuring our satisfaction. We are grateful to everyone here and highly recommend this nursery.

My child has been at the nursery for over a year now and we are so pleased with the service they provide. They do so many activities, games and lots of learning. My child's development has come on leaps and bounds and I have no doubt that is due to the care and attention given. All of the staff are lovely, caring and thoughtful and my child rushes into class with no hesitation. They do some much each day and I am constantly amazed by how much they manage to pack in!

My son loves being in Preschool at Our Day Nursery. He has made so many friends; he loves the staff who care about him so much and he enjoys all of the extracurricular activities too such as Holistic football-based exercise and music. He found the transition from being with a childminder to the nursery setting a little tricky at first but four members of staff in particular and the team have been amazing in supporting him to make this move and feel secure. He now goes in happily, learns so much and loves his days. He gets involved in such an array of activities and has developed lots of new interests and knowledge. The communication with the team is great, it’s a beautiful setting and I love their approach to play and learning from the curiosity approach.

A nursery that is full of love and happiness for my daughter. It's her first nursery since she was born during the pandemic and she has never been separated from me since then. The caregivers, practitioners, and manager have been giving both of us confidence and trust to get through our separation anxiety. They are all super friendly and always welcoming with love every morning, daily reporting what she's been doing with an app and images gave me peace of mind. They are always responsive and patient to all my questions. Places and rooms are always clean and hygienic, indeed very tidy compared to many other highly rated nurseries, which is one factor we have chosen. I’d highly recommend this nursery.

My little one joined Our Day Nursery in August 2023 and has been thriving ever since. He was comfortable from the moment we made a visit and drop off is no longer a stressful task as he runs in with excitement! The staff are absolutely amazing with him, patient and have helped him grow and develop his skills, even in the short time he has been there. My little one has always been so fussy with food but the team collectively have managed to get him eating a variety of foods through choice, which he is now starting to mirror at home with a much healthier relationship with food which is amazing! It is so reassuring that he is settled and in a home-from-home environment. He loves to tell me all about his day every day and the staff are very supportive. He loves music lessons and football. Our son started at Our Day in January and we have been so impressed with the staff, the facilities and activities on offer. The transition went really well and the nursery were really receptive to what we wanted for him. The communication from the staff has always been excellent and we have always felt confident he is well cared for. They have been very accommodating of his dietary allergies and provide extra information when needed. The facilities are impressive and we are excited to keep seeing their outside spaces evolve. He loves all the activities they offer and is always excited to go. We would highly recommend our day nursery to anyone.

We are family from Ukraine who came to the UK January 2023. My son who is 4 year old never spoke English. He started visiting nursery in February and after a few months, he was picking up English quite quickly. Want to say a great thank you to the staff who supports him and make nursery second home for him where he feels safe and able to explore world. He was always keen to go there and learn something new through playing and having fun. Great thank you!

My son has been going to Our Day Nursery for four months now, and I think they’re doing an amazing job! He loves going every week to see his friends and always comes out saying he’s had fun. He’s changed so much since starting, and I cannot wait to see how much he grows there until he starts school in a few years. I’m really impressed with the daily activities and the meals. The staff are very caring, the facilities are excellent, and the management is very organised. My daughter has settled in really well and loves it. It’s new, so they are still working in the outdoor areas, but these look like they will be excellent once completed.

Our Day Nursery is one of the best in our area. The care and consideration the children receive are second to none. Education through play and hands-on experience will set the children up for the next few years for school and beyond. There is a varied range of subjects covered, which makes for a wonderful insight into many interesting challenges for the little ones.

The nursery is brand new and has beautiful modern toys and lovely displays. Everything is so fresh and clean. The manager is amazing and has created such a wonderful family environment for the children. I highly recommend thank you Our Day Nursery x

My little boy has been attending the nursery for a few months now and absolutely loves it. All the staff are warm, kind, and welcoming, and the attention to detail in every part of the nursery is amazing. The food menus are full of variety, and my little boy eats so well there. The app they use is also really helpful and informative, and the staff are amazing at keeping this constantly updated too. As the nursery is also brand new, everything is really clean, new and fresh, which is an added bonus when everything and anything ends up in the little ones' mouths!

The teaching team is showing great care and attention to the little ones. Just in a month or so, we can see our 2.5-year-old is learning a lot of new things, and he got over his separation from mum issues in about two weeks; he is quite willing to go now. The nursery gives a good summary of the day, which helps us understand what new things our little fussy eater tried or slept today.

There are so many activities to entertain him, and the staff are amazing with him. Everything is well organised, and the nursery has a lovely family atmosphere. A lot of thought has gone into the organisation and structure of the nursery to cover all the ages of the children attending. Highly recommended!

And all of the staff are amazing, very caring and attentive. We always feel like he's left in safe hands!

My son recently started at Our Day Nursery after being at another nursery for quite a while. I am so pleased that we decided to move him. I was so worried about how he would settle into a new nursery, but the staff have been amazing. It is such a nurturing environment, and I know that my son is being cared for! They do lovely little things like putting their slippers on the radiator so they are warmed up for when they arrive out of the cold. You can tell the staff really care about the children. Resources are great, and the rooms have been beautifully designed and thought out. I love that extra activities are included, such as music and sensory sessions. Highly recommend!

The nursery is a wonderful environment and my daughter always looks forward to attending. The staff are all amazing and great with communicating and providing updates. Everyone genuinely cares and wants the best for the children in the nursery. I feel really comfortable leaving my daughter in their care. Such a calm, clean and nurturing nursery.
