Magdalen Nursery - St George's Grove

Our eldest girl had a great and fun time there and so now does our youngest. The staff are very caring and the time spent there is diverse. There was not a day when we picked up the girls that they weren't happy, with lots of stories to share with us. The food is healthy and diverse. There is always lots of indoor and outdoor space for children to have a good run around. I would always choose it again.

Also, love the safari fete program! That was really good for our baby to get a very unique and special experience! Highly recommend Magdalen to all the parents who are looking for a nursery!

We’ve had children at Magdalen since they were 1 for a combined duration of 5 years and we could not be happier with the place. The staff all genuinely adore the children; they are each known and cheerily welcomed daily by both their own and other teachers. There are monthly themes for each class so they learn new things; they do excellent craft and physical activities; there’s lots of music and singing and in the pre-school rooms children get individual attention for their letters and numbers. The outdoor space for the youngest and oldest is excellent (the middle level recently lost a garden but they’re doing the best they can), and the indoors is cheery and packed with equipment. Of course, childcare in London is incredibly expensive and Magdalen is certainly no exception. But at least you can feel the money is being spent to keep your children safe, happy and loved.

We have recently joined at the Grove and were really nervous about our little one as she does tend to scream when we are not around. However, she could not be happier and the carers could not be better. We are so happy with the Grove.

I have a 14-month-old baby at Magdalen Grove who has received the warmest of welcomes! The staff are lovely and really do care for the kids they look after. I highly recommend sending your child to Magdalen!

I could not recommend Magdalen’s enough! The staff are so kind and caring which is reflected by how happy my little one is to go to school each day. Such a great nursery with such a warm atmosphere.

This nursery is amazing. Full of activities and colour. The staff has accommodated all my requests and from the beginning I felt that my choice of this nursery was the best one.

I couldn't be happier with Magdalen Nursery: my child has been so happy throughout and loves going to nursery and loves all the teachers.

We currently have two children at this nursery and could not be happier with the progress they are both making. The staff are so caring and nurturing whilst teaching them more than we ever expected. We are constantly impressed by what they have learnt each day and are enjoying watching them develop into kind and confident young boys. Couldn’t recommend this nursery highly enough.

We have put two children through Magdalen over the last 4 years and it has been fantastic. The children love it and it is such a great learning environment for them. In my opinion, the setup is unrivalled.

All the staff are lovely and caring and they offer a wonderful, nurturing environment for the children. The setting really has the wow factor! It is beautifully decorated and has lots of garden space for the children to play in.

They were exceptional with my son who has ASD and my daughter who started at 9 months old is very happy there.

We love the app which lets us know what she’s been up to, what she’s had to eat (they have an in house chef!), how long she’s slept for and some photos of her having fun during the day.

They make such an effort to make sure the children are happy and have lots of events to include the parents too.

Top notch nursery!

Magdalen is a truly amazing nursery! My son has been there since he was eight months old and is now in the preschool class. My daughter is sixteen months and loving every moment. The carers and teachers go above and beyond to make the children feel loved and the learning is definitely a step above the rest. They have an app which delivers information on what/how much your child eats and sleeps, and also updates daily on what each class has been up to, which is so nice to see as a working mother. If you are lucky enough to get the preschool teacher in Cherries you are winning, she is excellent and all her children adore her.

We couldn't be happier with Magdalen Nursery: our child has been so happy throughout and loves going to nursery. I know he is extremely well cared for as all the staff are excellent and have great relationships with the children: this is as true of the staff who do not work in the rooms as it is of those who spend all day with the children. The range of activities, both indoor and outdoor, is very impressive with lots of opportunities for children to try out different things. Learning is very strong and I'm always surprised by the new things my son is talking about each week. It is easy for parents to engage with the nursery - the staff are always willing to chat and an app keeps us connected so we can follow up at home on the themes being worked on in the nursery.

Both my children have so far spent 6 happy years altogether at Magdalen Nursery. It provides a nurturing and caring environment which is paired with high professional standards and wonderful staff. I always felt my children were in capable and nurturing hands throughout their time there and we will be extremely sad to leave when it is time to say goodbye. They provide a very good preparation for the transition to primary school for which I am also extremely grateful. A wonderful place!

Our son started at St George's Grove when he turned 1 and has been absolutely flourishing ever since. The nursery staff are wonderful, supportive and truly care about him. We've been so impressed with his development - now 26 months, he's a happy, chatty boy who counts to 20, knows the alphabet, and demonstrates real care and kindness for others around him. Finally, the nursery has been a wonderful way for my husband and I to meet other parents and families nearby. I cannot recommend St George's Grove enough.

Fabulous nursery - love the fact we get updated via the app throughout the day to see all the inventive things they get up to. The staff are very caring and welcoming and our little boy settled in really well. Would highly recommend.

We have seen a massive difference in all areas of our daughters development since she started at the Grove. The learning is so much better than my husband and I would be able to provide on a daily basis at home.

The Grove has been the perfect introduction to an educational environment for nurturing our daughter and we would highly recommend it to any parents considering it as a nursery for their children.
