Purple Lion Day Nurseries (Chingford)

They seem to plan lots of creative things for them to and we receive plenty of masterpieces sent home. :-)

Our son has been going to Purple Lion for over a year, and he couldn't be happier there. The staff are really caring and great at creative play. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Purple Lion to anyone!

Our son started recently at 10 months and is loving it. All the staff are so caring and take time to get to know the children. Each week they do brilliant thematic activities which the babies seem to love. I feel so happy and confident leaving my baby there on a daily basis, he practically jumps into their arms!

What a wonderful team. Our child has been at Purple Lion for 18 months and we couldn't be happier with the care they receive. We get frequent updates and reports and they are progressing really well, especially their confidence. They always go in and come out smiling!

What a fabulous gem! We love the staff so much and both my children have thrived in their care. The setting is small but this allows the staff to really get to know the children and meet their needs. My son absolutely loves going each morning and knows he is safe to explore and develop his confidence. We are so grateful to everyone who works there.

Staff are amazing, my little one has settled in really well. The children have a great variety of food and partake in an array of fun engaging activities. The communication is facilitated by an app making it easy to receive and send important messages.

Overall we're very happy with the service provided by the nursery.

Purple Lion Day Nursery is a brilliant nursery. All the staff are so kind and caring and the kids days seem filled with creative, stimulating activities. My daughter joined when she was 14 months and will be with Purple Lions until school in September. My daughter has developed so much under their care. We are so happy we chose them. Thank you to all the staff who put so much into the children.

My son has always been shy however the nursery has really brought him out his shell, his development has come along massively and the staff provide detailed updates on his day.

My child has additional needs and the staff have been amazing with the support they provide. I am always kept informed of her progress. In addition, the staff are knowledgeable on the community services within the local area.

Our little one has been at the nursery since May and settled really quickly with the support of the team. The communication has been great and we have enjoyed the updates about the weekly activities with pictures of the engagement on the app. The introduction of school trips to the library, local shop and residential home have been really enjoyed by my son and he was very animated sharing stories about this. The nursery went to great lengths at Christmas to create a magical experience with a grotto and farm animals at the Christmas show. I was a bit nervous sending him in after we had started toilet training in the summer but they ensured consistency with what we had done at home and we had very few accidents which was encouraging. The setting does allow for more intimate care and learning which has really suited our little ones development. It's a lovely nursery and he really enjoys it.

Overall, this nursery has been an incredible place for my child to grow, learn, and make lasting memories. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and stimulating environment for their little one.

My grandchildren have settled in well and enjoy going, which shows a positive caring environment by all staff members.

We are so happy with the care our child receives at Purple Lion. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and reassured with their kindness and dedication. Our son joined the baby room at Purple Lion Chingford in January this year, ages 13 months. Due to the wonderful engaging and caring staff here, he has settled so well and loves going to the nursery. We could not have asked for a better start to his education than finding Purple Lion and despite being offered places closer we have chosen to keep him here and will do until he goes to school. It is a warm, fun and loving place and I can't rate it highly enough.

Our child has been with Purple Lions Chingford since before her first birthday back in 2022 and we love it! She took a long time to settle but they were so encouraging, professional and warm and always made us feel like we were doing the right thing. Now when she goes in she doesn't even look back. Our daughter absolutely loved her key workers in the baby room and now in the toddler room and you can tell they really care for her too. We love how small the setting is, how everybody knows everyone and the baby room/older children mix together. Recently they've had caterpillars and she's loved to watch them grow into butterflies and has successfully grown cress! She has made so many friends there and has grown in confidence.

I can't express with words my gratitude, and I most definitely recommend the kindergarten.

Our daughter joined Purple Lion in March and we love the nursery. The care that she has received has been fantastic, the team are very warm, engaging and supportive. We strongly feel that she has grown in confidence, her social skills have improved, she has learned new skills and even eats foods she doesn't seem to be keen on at home! This is all down to the excellent care that she has received, where she feels comfortable and safe. The team are very supportive of the babies, but also the support we have had as parents is great. This is the first time we've ever had any interaction with a nursery and they have supported us in the transition to childcare, answered questions we've had and made us feel very comfortable - so thank you we are very grateful!
