Experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager with over 20 years of progressive experience in the Early Years sector. Starting as a Nursery Nurse, I have worked my way up through various roles to become the manager of two successful nursery settings. This hands-on journey has given me a deep and well-rounded understanding of early childhood development, safeguarding, staff leadership, and operational management.

I am passionate about providing high-quality childcare and creating safe, nurturing, and stimulating environments for young children to thrive. I lead by example, support team development, and consistently uphold the highest standards of care and compliance in line with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

Through dedication and hands-on experience, I have progressed in my career to the role of Deputy Manager, gaining valuable skills in leadership, planning, safeguarding, and supporting children’s learning and development.

Experienced and passionate Early Years professional with many years working across a variety of childcare settings in roles ranging from Practitioner to Room Leader, and currently as Third in Charge. My journey in the sector has equipped me with a strong understanding of child development, team leadership, and delivering high-quality care and education.
As a parent to two grown children and a proud grandparent, I bring both personal and professional insight into the importance of the early years. I am deeply committed to creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. Caring and motivated Early Years Practitioner with around 4 years of hands-on experience in childcare. I currently hold a Level 2 qualification and am committed to continuing my professional development by working towards Level 3 in the near future.

I have a particular passion for working with babies and supporting them through their early developmental milestones. I enjoy creating a variety of age-appropriate, stimulating activities that promote curiosity, learning, and progress for each child as an individual. Outside of the nursery, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, which supports my warm and nurturing approach in the workplace.

I’m passionate about encouraging creativity in young children, helping them explore the world around them through play and open-ended experiences. I take pride in building positive relationships with both children and colleagues, contributing to a nurturing and stimulating nursery environment.

I have recently started working at Codsall Community Nursery and am currently working towards my Level 3 qualification in childcare. I have enjoyed gaining experience in both rooms, actively taking part in a range of activities and supporting the children's learning and development.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as relaxing with a good book.

I have worked in childcare for many years, gaining a wide range of experience in roles such as practitioner, deputy manager, cook, and family support worker. I am passionate about creating enabling environments and meaningful opportunities that allow children to explore, grow, and thrive.

I have recently started working at Codsall Community Nursery as bank staff. Before, I completed my placement at the nursery while working towards my Level 6 qualification.

During my time here, I have enjoyed gaining experience in both the Babies Room and the Over 2s Room, and I have loved working alongside the team to build on my knowledge and skills. I enjoy taking part in activities that support and extend the children’s development and learning through play.
