Best decision to move our son to the preschool age 3! Such a nurturing, warm, and positive environment and all the staff are fantastic - both with him and us. The preschool room is fab - amazing people who strike the perfect balance between children having the freedom to play and do what they want to do but also challenging them in accordance with their individual abilities. The ethos and attention on lovely manners and kind behaviour is evident. The time children spend outside as well is fantastic - whether on their forest school day or just exploring and making up their own games in the garden, we really love the importance given to being outside in nature. Also, lots of credit to the chef for his brilliant, varied menu. I know preschool have done activities with him like baking, or exploring unusual fruits and I think it's so positive to see that integration. Our son has settled in so well and we are so thankful we found a place at Little Dragon's.
We couldn't ask for a better nursery for our son. He has attended since 9 months old and absolutely loves it. It's an amazing nursery with amazing staff and we are very happy with our experience and the experience that our son gets on a daily basis. They have a fantastic app with lots of updates throughout the day and posts about the adventures our son has at the nursery. They have a genuine care towards the children and always have a good chat to you about how they are feeling today and how they have been throughout the day. Amazing nursery, would 100% recommend to anyone.
We couldn’t ask for a better nursery for our little boy. He’s been going since he was 8 months old and all the ladies in the baby room have made us feel totally at ease leaving our little one. It’s a lovely nursery in a beautiful setting but the best part is absolutely the staff. They genuinely care for your little one and take the time at each drop-off and pick-up to chat to you, check how they are and tell you all about their day.
Little Dragon's Day Nursery is such a wonderful nursery. Our Twin boys (now 3) started attending in March 2022 and we can honestly say that their development since has been outstanding. They started in the baby room and are progressing nicely throughout the stages. The team really know when a child is ready for the next stage. One of our children has both mobility issues and developmental delay, the team at Little Dragons, especially his Key worker and their wonderful SEND coordinator have been instrumental in where he is now, including working with us and various medical/SEND professionals in getting him an EHCP. Having our boys at Little Dragons feels like having an extension to our family, everyone from the owners to their wonderful chef have made a huge difference to us. We know that our children are in the best possible hands, from a family with a disabled child they are a breath of fresh air. We really couldn't imagine life without them.
Thank you!
Lovely village nursery with super staff. All inclusive package takes all the hassle out for busy mums. Being outdoors people would perhaps like a little more outdoor space but I think there are plans for a forest school in the future. This would be a great addition.
Little Dragon's Day Nursery are amazing! My little one only started in the baby room this month and is already so settled, happy and feels safe and secure. The settling in process worked really well, especially as we had attended some stay and play sessions. The staff are brilliant and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. You can really tell that the children are at the heart of everything at Little Dragons
Leaving your child at nursery can be traumatic at times as a parent especially when your child struggles with separation anxiety however the fab 3 in the Baby room have been brilliant for our little boy, especially his key worker.
Our daughter settled quickly into the preschool room and has such a lovely bond with her key worker CM. She loves going to nursery and has formed many friendships which are so lovely to see and hear about as she was a lockdown baby so missed out on all the early socialising! She has grown in confidence and has so much to say after a day at Little Dragons.
All you want is for your children to be loved like you love them and given the care and fun that you would give yourself. The team at Little Dragons have been amazing at giving all of this.
Such an amazing environment for the children and the staff are so skilled and supportive in all they do. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done to support my child's settling at nursery - I feel they go above and beyond, and it is appreciated so much. The communication between home and nursery is superb, and I would most definitely recommend them.
I cannot fault Little Dragon's Day Nursery - from to the communication to the lovely staff (who care for my child as their own) to the immaculate building and fresh healthy meals! My daughter has settled in lovely so happy with everything.
A wonderful nursery in a unique setting! Our baby is so well looked after and has a good bond with the staff who are all caring and lovely. I know our baby is in the best hands when she is there. The communication from the nursery is always excellent.
My daughter (2) has been attending Little Dragons since she was 10 months old. She has been very settled and happy since her first settling session. In every room she has been in so far she has found a special bond with a staff member and all of them go above and beyond to ensure she is happy and cared for. Every day we receive an update on her day including her meals, nappies and sleep time including some pictures of her day. The nursery is beautiful, well looked after, the food is all freshly cooked by the on-site chef and the variety is immense. I go to work knowing shes in a very safe, happy place with knowledgeable, caring staff.
If you're looking for a spectacular nursery then look no further than Little Dragons, the team there are just truly fantastic!
An outstanding nursery in a beautiful rural area. The children lead their own learning experiences supported by staff who give them independence in their decisions and choices. Little Dragons has been a great change of pace for my 1-year-old, it has helped her progress with her walking, she eats well, socialises well and most importantly, has great fun on her days with Little Dragons. They supply you with the family app, which helps you track their nursery experience and see what they have been up to, but more importantly, they only use it when needed. When we have been in the nursery, we seldom see the staff typing notes, they are there aiding the children through their experiences. We know that our little one is safe and sound at Little Dragon's Day Nursery, they have great facilities which they use to encourage the little ones to explore. We can't thank Little Dragon's Day Nursery enough for looking after our child! Oh! and the food is cooked fresh on-site and is varied and plentiful. I wholly recommend this nursery!
We couldn't ask for a better nursery than Little Dragon's Day Nursery, our children are really happy there and have great relationships with all the staff. Little things like encouraging the children to learn to brush their teeth show a high level of attention to detail in the care provided. We really appreciate that all staff across the nursery know all children, even those in different rooms - this is one of the things that sets it apart from other nurseries we have attended and makes it a real home from home. The nursery is slightly smaller than some, set across 3 rooms, but this is part of what makes it such a friendly setting and they have done a great job of really maximising the use of the space. Resources and equipment are new, high quality and tailored to children's different stages of development.
Look no further Little Dragons Day Nursery is the one for you and your little one! The care and attention my daughter receives during her days at nursery is absolutely outstanding this has helped her to settle in super fast! The nursery itself, a refurbished church is absolutely stunningly spotless. The attention to detail is second to none from the lower levelled bannister for the little ones to use whilst on the stairs to the cute little beds for them to nap in. The staff are so attentive, caring, knowledgable and welcoming it’s so reassuring to know that my baby is in the best hands when I drop her off and I look forward to hearing all about her day when I pick her up! Also the fresh nutritious food is a winner! The well planned out garden and field space also needs a mention as they are also a winner! I am so glad and relived that I found Little Dragons and I can’t wait to see my daughters bright future unravel!
The space is perfectly formed with great resources to encourage children to explore the world around them - both inside and outside. The team are constantly moving resources around to keep the children interested and the number of open ended toys really helps with this.
All their food is cooked on site with the kids sometimes getting involved - making smoothies, cakes, pancakes - and even going to the village shop to source ingredients.
The setting is fab, and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
The moment I walked through the door of Littles Dragon's Day Nursery for our initial show round I instantly knew it was the right place, here is why: Lovely clean, warm, inviting environment. Lots of outside space, even for the babies! Freshly cooked food onsite, all of which is varied and well balanced. The staff are caring, experienced, friendly, and very professional. The values and attitude towards the individual child's learning journey are by far the best I have ever experienced (on my 3rd and last!) I look forward to seeing the progress of his journey with Little Dragons.
My little one is so settled and so very happy which means I do not even think twice when leaving him, I know he is safe and secure in the very best of hands.
Thank you Little Dragons team.
As a grandparent, you can often feel pushed out, especially when collecting your grandchild from the nursery setting. However after my son and daughter-in-law chose Little Dragons as my grandson's nursery, I have never felt so welcome. The staff are so attentive and will often help me if needed. All the children seem happy and calm whenever I arrive. The nursery is well established, clean, and organised well.
Since Little Dragons opened I can not begin to describe how happy I am as a mummy sending my little one to such a wonderful family driven beautiful nursery that clearly have the passion for childcare. My little one went to a nursery prior to this but we wanted one closer to our home, when I saw Little Dragons had opened I was still very worried about whether my little one would settle! How wrong was I! The way in which the staff do things is incredible they are so attentive and caring towards both the children and worried parents! I could not be happier.

Kate has enjoyed understanding the ‘learning journey’ that children embark on, and is particularly passionate about their early years experiences.
Since becoming a mum to her 3 children, the world of early childhood development has been a journey that she has experienced first-hand and one in which she has absolutely loved being immersed in. Kate finds early childhood development extremely fascinating, and gets an immense amount of reward and job satisfaction when working with children. Providing children with ‘awe and wonder’ learning opportunities is what inspires Kates interactions, she achieves this through knowing the children in her care, and being able to spot those magical moments where you can make a difference and enhance children's learning. Giving children the opportunity to learn in a meaningful context is something that Kate feels strongly about. She takes pride in creating a learning environment that is rich with opportunities that ‘spark’ that innate desire for children to explore and learn.
