Little Dragon’s Day Nursery is a state-of-the-art, family-run childcare setting located in the picturesque village of Snitterfield. Little Dragon’s is an inspirational early years setting that has been specially designed to create a superb enabling environment.

At Little Dragon’s Day Nursery, the team strongly believe that when children are allowed to select where, with what and how to play, they are truly invested in their learning, become deeply involved and therefore make dramatic progress (after all, a child’s play is seriously important business!). They strive to ensure that the children in their care are happy and immersed in their surroundings, and in doing so, the children are constantly demonstrating all the skills required to succeed - concentration, creativity, energy and persistence! Through Little Dragon's creative and ‘down to earth’ take on the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, children experience diverse and spontaneous child-led activities supported by skilful practitioners that promote early years goals.

At Little Dragon’s, all children are happy and flourish. They encourage and develop lively, enquiring minds and children ascertain a zest for life-long learning. The team does this by enriching children's early years experiences and fulfilling every child’s innate desire to explore and learn. They provide a truly ‘child-focused’ enabling environment that ensures all children are fully immersed in high-quality, purposeful play and are happy, learning and developing at all times. My little boy has been attending Little Dragons for about a year and a half now. What a wonderful place to be! He has really thrived. The staff are incredible professionals with a wealth of experience and knowledge; they are always friendly and go above and beyond to support you as a family. The opportunities
and activities available are fantastic, my little boy particularly loves his Outdoor Adventure sessions in the field. He has made incredibly close friendships with other children who attend and really misses it on the days he doesn't go.

I’m disgusted with this nursery. I wouldn’t trust them to look after a house plant let alone a child. The owners only care about the money side of it, they were meant to refund me and have not had anything back. I have been paying for full days 8 till 6 pm and have been told I can’t leave my son with
them these hours even though I’m paying for it! They don’t care about the staff they employ here, they don’t seem to have much experience with children this age. The staff are liars, they tell me that my son has had a good day and management is telling me staff are refusing to look after my son. Management is a joke, when collecting my son the Manager started crying in front of me and my son and said she can’t cope with him. Very unprofessional with their behaviour towards me and my son. I removed him for his safety. Can not see how they haven’t been shut down.

My eldest joined Little Dragon’s when it very first opened. She is now in Reception class and is confident and thriving at school. She has solid friendships with other children in her class that were formed at nursery. I couldn’t be happier with the support and care that she was given by the Little
Dragon's team. My youngest has been there for over two years and is also thriving. He is learning so much that he comes home and shares with us and he is developing amazingly well. The support with things like potty training so far has been great. Again the care he is receiving overall is incredible. The recent Ofsted rating was fantastic and completely justified.

This nursery has been the find of our life! Our little boy has gone from strength to strength, at first he wasn’t confident and wouldn’t nap there, the staff were so patient and kind. We are now at the stage where he cannot wait to go in to see his friends and also his key worker! Who he knows by name,
taking new toys and teddies in to show her. We get lovely photos / updates on the days he is in via the app and the food is great quality. We did a lot of searching to find the best nursery in our area to leave our boy and I am confident this is the best by a country mile. The facilities are fantastic, and the staff are genuinely caring. Thank you for everything to all.

Our little one has been attending Little Dragon's for just over 12 months now.
Given work commitments we had to start childcare at just under 6 months which I was quite apprehensive about but I need not have been. 100% the best decision to start at this age and looking back on it I think I would have
started a few days at this stage anyway even if I hadn't needed to return to my job.
Yes, the nursery has fantastic facilities, is clean, excellent food, etc but the thing that has shone through from day 1 is the staff. Everyone is friendly and inviting and treat my daughter as if she were their own child. At the end of the day, you want to leave your child in the care of people who will treat your child as she is treated at home - with the same love and attention. It is easy to invest in a nice space and good facilities, but creating a positive culture takes exceptionally hard work. All the staff seem to genuinely love being there and coming to work. Well done Little Dragons.

With my little one starting nursery full time I was a very apprehensive mum and worried about leaving them five days a week. I can safely say, I had no need to worry.
The staff at Little Dragons are incredible and they made me feel at ease and my little one feel right at home. I couldn’t have asked
for a better team in the baby room and my little one loves going and even waves me goodbye every morning. They have constant activities for them and go above and beyond caring for them.

Our son attends this nursery and I must say it’s a gem and we feel very lucky that he goes here. The staff are wonderful, caring, attentive, patient and kind and the facilities are brilliant. We wouldn’t have our children go anywhere else.

My son recently started at Little Dragons after being let down by our childminder as she felt he was too unsettled. We were apprehensive about how he would take to a nursery because of this but he has settled in so well! The food he is getting seems really high quality and he seems to enjoy it! They
seem to do lots of outdoor activities and the staff are all really attentive and give a good report on how their day has been.

We cannot rate Little Dragons highly enough. Their recent “Outstanding” rating with Ofsted is thoroughly deserved.
Our son has been in the baby room since September 2023 when he was 11 months old, and he has thrived under the care of the wonderful staff, both developmentally and in confidence.
The
nursery has a real family feel to it, everyone is very friendly and caring. It’s obvious how the children are front and centre of everything.
The chef is great too - lovely, freshly prepared food which our son seems to enjoy!
The continued development of the nearby field in the village for the forest school side of the nursery will be a fantastic addition as well.
The app is also very useful and easy to navigate.
It’s such a lovely, joyful, fun and happy place. We consider ourselves very lucky and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to other parents.

Our child is so happy after a day at Little Dragons. We have seen them come along leaps and bounds since starting. We love the inspiring and nurturing environment that the staff have created. Our child lives going to the field and playing in the garden. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough.

Little Dragons has been fantastic for our 3-year-old, who started in September. The preschool room team really helped to settle her in and feel more confident and her learning has come on massively in the short time she has been there. The fact they get outside every day and have the opportunity for
forest school as well is really brilliant. We would definitely recommend Little Dragons to prospective parents.

My son is happy at the nursery and is developing well. Staff are responsive to questions and feedback, which sends the message that they want the setting to be the best it can be. There is a sense that children are cared for, and all staff know all the children well and their needs/personalities. They

Our daughter has continually progressed and in areas where she has struggled the staff have focused on moving her forward, she found it hard to be separated from us at first but now loves going to nursery every time.
The staff are really conscientious and give us great feedback, the posts and photos
help you understand how and what the children get up to every day, we are so pleased we chose Little Dragons.

Our little boy literally runs into nursery every day excited to see his friends and teachers.
From the minute we had our home visit from our amazing key worker back in 2022 we knew we had made the right choice. The staff have got to know our son so well and he is clearly thriving, which the staff regularly
acknowledge and celebrate with us. Forest school has been a massive hit and being outside surrounded by nature has always been important to us as a family, and this is clearly important to the Little Dragons team also. Couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

Both my children attend this wonderful nursery. We have been with Little Dragons since they first opened brand new. My son is now almost 3 and my daughter has been going since 7 months old and she’s now 1. The staff are attentive and caring. And they use an app to update you on meals, sleep and activities.
The setting is wonderful with lots of toys and learning resources. There is also a fantastic outdoor space in the baby's room and a large garden space in toddlers. All the children get the opportunity to go out on visits to the local village, and also the field down the road. The nursery celebrates diversity and all cultures often. My children are very happy here and we would definitely recommend it!

My grandson loves going to Little Dragon’s and has settled so well thanks to the brilliant team in Pioneers. The staff are always professional, approachable and so caring towards him and make him feel welcome on arrival.
The nursery offers a variety of experiences for the children, including music
and movement with Zest Tots dance school and weekly forest school sessions in the nursery’s private field.
It’s a wonderful place and we are so pleased with everything the team do for us and our grandson.

As soon as we stepped inside and had a tour of The Little Dragon’s Nursery, we immediately knew that we wanted to send our daughter here. It is such a warm, friendly, and happy environment, and we have been so impressed with the whole induction process. The gradual integration and individualised approach
was really helpful in settling in our 14-month-old daughter.
All staff are highly professional and welcome you with a smile each morning. They clearly make it a priority to get to know each child and their family members. This really helps to build confidence for all and adds to the nurturing environment. The staff in ‘Babies/Explorers’ have been wonderful. They always take the time to check in with us and keep us in the loop. The chef makes all the food on-site, which adds to the homely feel of the nursery. Parent feedback and input on the menu is also considered. The app is brilliant, enabling us to see regular updates and photos from the day. We couldn’t be happier.

Best decision to move our son to the preschool age 3! Such a nurturing, warm, and positive environment and all the staff are fantastic - both with him and us. The preschool room is fab - amazing people who strike the perfect balance between children having the freedom to play and do what they want to
do but also challenging them in accordance with their individual abilities. The ethos and attention on lovely manners and kind behaviour is evident. The time children spend outside as well is fantastic - whether on their forest school day or just exploring and making up their own games in the garden, we really love the importance given to being outside in nature. Also, lots of credit to the chef for his brilliant, varied menu. I know preschool have done activities with him like baking, or exploring unusual fruits and I think it's so positive to see that integration. Our son has settled in so well and we are so thankful we found a place at Little Dragon's.

Kerri has always enjoyed spending time with children and observing how they enjoy exploring the world around them. Supporting and inspiring children to be the best that they can be is really important to Kerri, she always strives to build positive relationships with children so their unique and individual needs are met. Kerri is passionate in making sure that children develop a real love of learning, that will take them through their school years and beyond.


Kerri has worked in childcare for over 25 years in various different settings, overseas and in the UK.

Kate has always been passionate about working with children and has thoroughly enjoyed flourishing into a proficient practitioner from Early Years Foundation Stage through to the end of Primary School, having gained her Qualified Teacher Status back in 2008.
Kate has enjoyed understanding the ‘learning journey’ that children embark on, and is particularly passionate about their early years experiences.
Since becoming a mum to her 3 children, the world of early childhood development has been a journey that she has experienced first-hand and one in which she has absolutely loved being immersed in. Kate finds early childhood development extremely fascinating, and gets an immense amount of reward and job satisfaction when working with children. Providing children with ‘awe and wonder’ learning opportunities is what inspires Kates interactions, she achieves this through knowing the children in her care, and being able to spot those magical moments where you can make a difference and enhance children's learning. Giving children the opportunity to learn in a meaningful context is something that Kate feels strongly about. She takes pride in creating a learning environment that is rich with opportunities that ‘spark’ that innate desire for children to explore and learn.
