Amazing nursery, my son is so happy here. Milliey is amazing,!!!!! I loved how she made my son feel so welcome. The staff is amazing too- always smiling, always willing to help, fantastic feedback about my son and his settle process is thorougher, and he is settled so well.
Their facilities are amazing and they do the BEST nutritious meals for the kids. Everything is very well-organised and thoughtfully designed for little learners. Their motto of outdoor play is fantastic, and I truly appreciate how much time the children get to explore, learn and enjoy being outside.
Our experience of our son attending Little Dragons nursery has been wonderful. The staff have always been extremely friendly and approachable to us and our son. They have all shown great interest in our son and in his development and they really demonstrate an individualised approach with bringing our son's interests in the daily activities. Our son always loves coming to nursery.
The most caring and nurturing setting with fantastic outdoor space. The staff take a genuine interest in every child's needs and we have been delighted to see our son flourishing at Little Dragons. Highly recommend!
Our daughter has been a Little Dragons since she was 11 months old. She is now 3.5 years old and absolutely thriving. The staff are wonderful, they know her inside out and truly care about her. Beyond the staff, the other brilliant part of this nursery is the facilities. Indoors is beautifully designed and maintained, but the amount of time my daughter spends out either at forest school or visiting the local villag is amazing. It has really done wonders for her confidence. I cannot recommend this nursery enough and would strongly encourage a look around to see what they are all about.
Very good childcare setting. My daughter loves coming into nursery and her confidence has grown. Good supportive staff. The Forrest school is fantastic alongside all of the extra activities on offer. I Would recommend little dragons.
My child has been at Little Dragons for over two and a half years. The staff are friendly, caring and attentive and genuinely care about their learning and development. The facilities available provide children with a rich nursery experience including regular forest school visits to the nursery field, trips round the village including the shop and church as well as an in-house chef who cooks all the meals and snacks for the children from scratch. There is great attention to detail in everything they do and all in all, this creates an excellent environment for learning and we are are really happy we chose this setting.
Little Dragon's is our child's favourite location! They always receive a warm welcome, are encouraged to settle quickly, and spend their day inspired by the amazing opportunities on offer. They delight in time spent at forest school (in all weathers!) and the food provided is excellent. As parents, we're delighted they and we are members of the Little Dragon's community.
Excellent all round. Fantastic communication, care, attention and our daughter loves it. Could not ask for more. All staff are very enthusiastic and clearly knowledgeable and well trained. Would recommend to anyone.
Such a lovely, warm, family feel nursery. We are so happy with the care and encouragement that they give all children. Our daughter has really excelled and never has a negative word to say. You are greeted every morning and evening with a big warm personal hello which is a great start. Keep up the hard work we appreciate it so much.
All staff at the nursery are fantastic and a credit to Little Dragons. Great facilities that continue to improve. Our son continues to develop great friendships and comes home with plenty of happy memories
Little Dragons Day Nursery has impressed us so much so far. The staff go over and above to create a welcoming environment and they are all really amazing. Special thanks to Tabi for being amazing with our little girl and making her feel happy and at ease through her settling in period and beyond. Our daughter cannot wait to get to nursery everyday.
Some staff were wonderful and we were grateful to them and their effort and we often told the individuals this, the management in our experience consistently let the setting down however, when concerns were raised, instead of discussing, the matters were more often than not met with no response or being told to look elsewhere. After their closure, like others, we were skeptical and appreciated the initial time taken by management to reassure us. But from then on it seemed to go down hill again. With concerns shared including basic settle questions to frequent unknown bruising and injuries not being listened to. Ultimately we felt as parents we had no escalation points on genuine concerns and then noticed our daughter retreating from a confident child to a worried and upset one, we lost trust and our daughter was clearly unhappy.
We are sorry to read that you did not feel Little Dragons was the right nursery for your daughter. Whilst we are pleased you recognised and valued the efforts of our staff team, we regret that your overall experience did not meet your expectations. We always aim to work in partnership with families...
He'd only attended the toddler room for 8 weeks and in that time we'd already needed to raise multiple concerns about his care, I now believe those were early warning signs of much wider issues in the nursery, but regrettably we chose to trust their reassurances - we just could never have imaged something like this being allowed to happen.
It prompted police involvement as well as an Ofsted investigation which found serious failings, leading them to take the extreme step of closing the nursery with immediate effect - this report is public.
I've long-debated posting this to ensure I'm not posting in anger, but with the nursery re-opened I feel a duty to make prospective parents aware of what happened so they can make fully informed decisions.
We are truly sorry that your experience with Little Dragons was so distressing, and we fully recognise how upsetting this period must have been for you and your family. The incident involving your son had a profound and lasting impact on our entire team, and we continue to reflect deeply on what...
I have one child in the older class and one child in the middle class. Both rooms are amazing. The activities they participate in are great and very age appropriate. The forest school is a favourite spot for them both. The nursery has a beautiful outdoor play space that as soon as I saw it I knew this was the setting for my children. They care for the children so much, you can tell as soon as you walk through the doors.
The relationship I have with all staff is great, they have supported me as a parent when settling in has been a challenge. I put my trust in the them and they really did know what they were doing.
I will be forever grateful for the best start in early education for my children. It will make picking a primary school very very difficult!
Our child has attended this nursery for 12 months now and he is extremely happy and settled. We were originally at a different nursery, and after a bad experience there we were nervous about the transition, but we felt so at ease and our child settled quickly. The variety of activities they offer is great and the freedom and flexibility to spend time outdoors has suited our child brilliantly. The staff are all so friendly and have our child's best interests at heart. We feel our child is able to express himself fully and let his personality shine, which shows how happy he is there. Plus sometimes he doesn't want to leave as he's having too much fun! I'd recommend you consider this nursery if you're in the area.
My daughter is now thriving at this nursery. I would 100% recommend Little Dragons to any parent that wants to have peace of mind when it comes to their baby at nursery.
Thank you all!
Have been at Little Dragons for a year and am very happy with the nursery. Staff are conscientious and friendly and make the effort to get to know the children under their care and the family members as well. Our little one has thrived in her time there.
One of the highlights of Little Dragons is their commitment to healthy, homemade food. My child has always been a picky eater, but since starting at the nursery, they have been excited to try new foods! The meals are thoughtfully prepared with wholesome ingredients, ensuring that the children are nourished and energised for their busy days of play and learning.
Communication is another area where they excel. Regular updates and photos have kept us well-informed and involved in our son's daily experiences and milestones. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful experiences and opportunities provided and wholeheartedly recommend them to any parent seeking a nurturing and enriching environment.

Kate has enjoyed understanding the ‘learning journey’ that children embark on, and is particularly passionate about their early years experiences.
Since becoming a mum to her 3 children, the world of early childhood development has been a journey that she has experienced first-hand and one in which she has absolutely loved being immersed in. Kate finds early childhood development extremely fascinating, and gets an immense amount of reward and job satisfaction when working with children. Providing children with ‘awe and wonder’ learning opportunities is what inspires Kates interactions, she achieves this through knowing the children in her care, and being able to spot those magical moments where you can make a difference and enhance children's learning. Giving children the opportunity to learn in a meaningful context is something that Kate feels strongly about. She takes pride in creating a learning environment that is rich with opportunities that ‘spark’ that innate desire for children to explore and learn.
