Overall Experience

Would never consider sending my children anywhere else. All of the staff clearly care a great deal about all of the children, from management to the chef, they know every child by name and always take the time to update at the end of the day. My eldest has been in pre-school for a year and my youngest will be starting pre-school in September 2025. The preparation for starting school has been amazing. The children are regularly taken on trips to the local library and playground, they have French lessons once a week as well as music lessons and sporty minis. My daughter has loved her time here and I'm sad that it's coming to an end.

Overall Experience

We love this nursery for our son. It's a great experience for him and wouldn't change a thing. The staff are really lovely as well definitely recommended. My son is a lot more confident and has learnt a lot from this nursery.

Overall Experience

Our daughter has had a wonderful time with the team at My Sunshine Day Nursery, both in baby room and pre-toddlers. Staff are friendly and creative, and we loved that they make the effort to take the children outdoors every day. The management team are friendly, flexible and very accommodating. Very competitively priced given location and quality. Highly recommend.

Overall Experience
Staff are caring and responsive to the needs of children, and parents. Facilities surpass expectations given the London location and children experience outdoor play every day (weather permitting) - which is fantastic. Food is varied and has a good balance at all meals/snacks.
The quality of updates received is comprehensive.

Lucky to have such a well-run and trusted nursery so close by.

Overall Experience

The staff are excellent. They seem to go out of their way to create fun and engaging activities. The weekly-themed content is really educational, particularly now that our daughter is in the pre-school class. She still gets lots of cuddles and love too. I am 100% at ease during my day knowing that my daughter is being well looked after.

BA Hons in Childcare with a focus on special needs. Over 15 years of experience in early years childcare, including major nursery groups, private owners and now as a co-owner of our own family-operated nursery business.

Louisa Minsa
Louisa MinsaJob Title:Nursery ManagerJoined: 2024

Louisa has 20 years of experience in Early Years education and brings a passion for nurturing, creative, and inclusive learning environments. Louisa holds a BA in Drama from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, and is fully trained in safeguarding, food hygiene, and first aid. Louisa is also a trained Gymboree teacher and professional singer, which, alongside her drama background, allows Louisa to bring imagination, energy, and joy into every activity. Louisa also has extensive experience supporting children with English as an Additional Language (EAL), including working as the English Language Facilitator in a German-speaking forest school setting, helping children build confidence through play and communication.

Louisa has held several senior leadership, manager and director roles, leading teams and ensuring outstanding care and education for children. My Sunshine Barnes is the second nursery setting that Louisa has managed. Louisa operates a truly wonderful, dedicated team, working alongside them to create a warm, safe, and inspiring environment where children are happy, confident, and excited to learn. Louisa is now studying for an MA in Educational Leadership, due to be completed in 2027, which will continue to strengthen the experiences My Sunshine provides for every child and family in our care.
