Acorns Llandaff

My second child is currently at Acorns Llandaff and my experience for both children has been nothing short of excellent. The environment is caring and nurturing. The range of activities is great, especially the messy play. The food menu is very healthy and varied. The staff are very kind, positive and caring. The managers are extremely professional and maintain this level of professionalism day in and day out, I always leave drop off and pick up feeling so impressed at the constant high level of service they provide. My child's key carers have all taken the time to really get to know him and his personality, his likes and dislikes and all members of staff knew him by name almost immediately- a small thing that makes such a difference as a parent. I know that my child is well cared for, safe and happy at nursery and I cannot speak highly enough of Acorns Llandaff!

I had received personal recommendations for Acorns and since my little one started at Acorns Llandaff, the nursery has lived up to my expectations. We were both made to feel very welcome from the first visit and settling in sessions. The staff are fantastic and bring real care to their work every day. They are all happy to answer any questions I have and have kept me informed every day of how my little one is getting on with a daily overview given at pick up. The environment is nurturing and great for development at these early ages with activities planned every day to learn and develop skills. Meals cooked are fresh, varied and healthy. There is low staff turn-over and robust policies in place for safety. Overall after our first 4 months I have been left very confident that my little one is in great care, happy and flourishing.

Our daughter has been Acorns Llandaff for over two years and we have loved our time there. We have felt that they have our daughter's best interests at heart - if she is feeling poorly or if she she having a good day, we know she is being looked after. The facilities are beautiful and well looked after. They offer great activities and the food is very tasty. We will miss sending our child to Acorns.

Great nursery, wonderful facilities, lots of learning opportunities for the children, imaginative activities and fabulous staff who take the time to really know the children. The kids adore the key workers, management and housekeepers.

Acorns Llandaff is a wonderful nursery. The staff are very caring and the environment is excellent: lots of fun, activities and nurturing. The food is great. It’s very reassuring to know my son is in excellent care when he is there. Communication with staff and management is excellent.

Our daughter has been attending Acorns Llandaff since 2022. She has loved every second. The staff are incredible. The manager is so welcoming, friendly and approachable if you have any queries or concerns. The menu changes alongside seasons which is nice and there is always a variety of things available. My daughter is always bringing something home that they have made in school, they seem to keep them very well entertained and must have the patience of saints!

The staff and facilities at Acorns are excellent. The staff are very accommodating to specific needs. Based on the photos and feedback, the regular indoor and outdoor activities keep the children engaged and entertained.

Our child has been at Acorns for about a year and absolutely loves it. It’s a great building, clean and tidy with a surprisingly big outdoor space. The staff have been incredible, always so full of energy and supportive of our child. It’s been very reassuring to know that our child is in safe hands. Parking is available and hasn’t been an issue at pick-up or drop-off.

Acorns Llandaff truly are an exemplary nursery. The interior is always warm and welcoming with a wonderful array of books and toys. Their daily activities incorporate such a vast schedule of crafting, outdoor play, storytime and even yoga - all of which creates a nurturing and stimulating environment in which to grow and develop. Most of all our appreciation goes to the staff who go above and beyond for the children. Their heart is in their nursery and it shows. Thank you to all.

Fantastic nursery. Both my daughter and son have attended Acorns and absolutely love it. The attention from staff is first class as well as the meals prepared for the children. The activities throughout the day keep the children active and engaged.

This really is more than a nursery. The managers and key workers are so nurturing, after a few weeks, they felt like part of the family. My son started at Acorns in the midst of Covid. Staff were supportive, professional and went out of their way to settle him. There was never a shortage of cuddles and love, it’s a home-from-home. The food is incredible and reads like a restaurant menu. As a result, my son has a healthy appetite and loves trying new foods. My son quickly started to recognise letters and numbers and his speech improved in a few short months. Christmas, Grandparent's Day, Mother’s Day, celebrations are a delight and the staff go out of their way to bring nursery and family life together. And if you are fortunate enough for your little one to be cared for by two staff members in particular you have struck gold. My son has had the best start in life thanks to Acorns Llandaff, I will be forever grateful for their kindness, fun and care.

My experience is that Acorns excel at what they do. My husband and I are so glad that we moved our little boy to Acorns Llandaff. We now feel at ease leaving him during the working day in their care and he's so happy there. The manager, deputy manager and all staff are approachable, caring, kind and fun. The nursery is welcoming, warm and spotlessly clean. They have different rooms for different tasks and it's so inviting, my little boy didn't want to leave when we went on our initial visit, it's a 'home from home'.

My daughter has been with Acorns nursery since she was 12 weeks old. She moved to Llandaff when it opened last September. Every member of staff has been phenomenal. The nursery has worked tirelessly with me through her challenges with eating and repeated episodes of viral wheezing. They have afforded us the opportunity to continue working because of the above-and-beyond care they provide and their due diligence to their children. Thank you to everyone. My daughter has been at Acorns Llandaff since September 2021 and my husband and I are very impressed with this nursery. The staff have been so friendly, so professional and always very cheerful. We feel very safe leaving our daughter here and she always comes home happy and excited. We are so grateful for this wonderful, comfortable environment that the nursery has created for her and as first-time parents, it’s been a fantastic experience.

We are over the moon with Acorns Llandaff. Both our children have attended since late last year and they have settled in amazingly. This is largely down to the cosy inclusive feeling they strive for and our eldest loves taking her shoes off and putting on her slippers as soon as she steps foot inside her room. They do lots of activities every day and send through videos and photos via the app. The food menu is well thought through and really nutritious. Independence is encouraged but balanced well with support. The facilities and environment are first class, all set within a beautiful historical building that has been delightfully refurbished with a really fresh warm and cosy feel.

I cannot thank the staff here enough. I was quite nervous about my daughter starting and they have made every effort to settle her in and to put my mind at ease. The nursery is very well run and all the staff are very friendly and professional. The food, facilities, and activities are brilliant. Thank you!
