My daughter has been there since January 2024 and I can honestly say it's such a lovely nursery. All the staff who have looked after her are so caring and professional. The care and love the children get from the staff is just incredible. The parents get updates and pictures via an app and the teacher
gives the parents a good summary of the day as well. I am so pleased with my daughter's progress at the nursery. Their commitment and warmth every day to the children and parents is outstanding. I especially praise their communication and awareness of parental needs. Thank you to everyone. Thank you again for making it a little easier going to work each day knowing my daughter is in good hands!

The place where your child will flourish! We couldn't be happier with the choice we made when deciding on a nursery for our first son. We came from abroad, and our son, while feeling comfortable in a nursery abroad, was really upset, non-confident, no communication skills, when we placed him in Fennies
nursery. His key worker was the one to support me and she said to give him some time and use all the settling-in sessions. So, we kept going and indeed by his last settling-in session, he felt very comfortable and wanted to go to the nursery every day. Since then, his confidence level and communication skills are improving every single day. The staff there are absolutely amazing - all of them (sorry can't list all names here) are brilliant! Our child couldn't stop smiling and we are so relaxed and happy when he is in the nursery. We know he is in the best hands and he will continue to flourish. Thank you so much Fennies.

Fennies is the most fantastic, nurturing, and wonderful nursery. I am a very uneasy mum when it comes to leaving my children and Fennies was so supportive not just to me but most importantly to my son. He has never been in a nursery environment before and this was all new to him. Fennies staff under
the care of two members of staff took my little one in and settled him in his own time whilst giving an overwhelmed mum hugs to keep her at ease. My son now goes into nursery shouting "Yay" school and is welcomed by the team daily with smiles and love. They have made the transition so easy and it is the most wonderful environment for any child. There are not enough adjectives to describe the amazing job that the Fennies staff perform from a pristine clean nursery to an adventurous outdoor garden and dose of daily activities designed to develop your child with the necessary skills towards then leaving for school as well as healthy delightful meals and snacks for your child.

My daughter started at Fennies in Walton 3 months ago. I was really impressed by how the settling-in process was amazing, took her 3 weeks to be very comfortable at the nursery.
The facilities are fantastic and very well managed by two members of staff in particular, both are brilliant.
The staff
are lovely, supportive and care about every single child they are looking after.
My daughter comes home happy and surprises me every day.
Since she started at Fennies I joined Fennies Parenting Hub twice, both were fantastic and helpful.
I’m so happy to have my daughter at Fennies. I’m able to go to work with my heart in peace because I can trust she is in good hands. Thanks, Fennies for being so supportive of us, parents. The Fennies Walton is the best nursery.

We moved to the UK in June 2023 with our two young girls and couldn't be happier that we found Fennies!
Our youngest had never been to any daycare/nursery before so full-time nursery was a bit of a shock for her, along with a whole new home. The genuine care, love and support that the staff at Fennies
showed us during what could have been a pretty disruptive settling-in time, was beyond our expectations. Our girls settled in beautifully quite quickly and we have the Fennies team to thank for that. The genuine interest, encouragement, care and support that the team gave us as a family is why we recommend Fennies to everyone. Along with the warming, homely, family feel we get as soon as we walk into the nursery every day.
Our girls run into the arms of their teachers every morning without looking back! What more could you ask from a nursery?

My daughter attends Walton Fennies and it is such an amazing nursery! The management helped get us all set up and is super helpful with anything you need. As parents, we couldn't be happier with how she settled in and all the care and attention she receives there. It has amazing facilities, beautiful
garden space and food requirements adhered to. All staff are super friendly, caring and supportive. Most importantly my daughter loves being there and has developed so much.

We’ve been sending our son here since October 2023. I instantly knew Fennies in Walton was where I wanted him to go from the tour. I was really nervous ahead of sending my little one to nursery at 7 months old, but the Explorers and management team at Fennies were really reassuring and understanding and worked to ensure my preferences and routines were accommodated. My child settled in super well, really quickly, and continues
to eat and sleep well too! The onsite kitchen/catering team is a real plus too - they eat so well. The app is great and regularly updated in real-time, and the weekly photo updates are a real highlight of the week. He's just about to turn 1, and it's clear to see how much fun he has, and he has a brilliant bond with everyone, especially with his key worker. They also put on regular stay/play and parent events too. I couldn't recommend Fennies more and so happy with everything. Thanks, team.

My little boy started the nursery just when he turned one year old at babies room. He settled well in three weeks time.
The nursery is clean and has great facilities and a nice garden.
The food is great and cooked in the kitchen at nursery. They are very flexible with each baby's food requirements
if they have any allergy and intolerance.
The application is great providing live info on food, nappy change, sleep garden and one observation for him each week along with photos showing what they have been up to.
The staff supports parents in the best way they can. Even offered me to put my son’s swimming nappy on just before I collected him for his swimming class. And last but not least, the manager and deputy manager are just a phone call away, well disciplined, friendly and cooperative. I’ve asked for some ad hoc days for my boy to go to nursery and the manager had kindly agreed when the ratio of staff to baby allowed.

My daughter has been at Fennies Nursery Walton since August 2022. Fennies have great facilities and we love that they are constantly in and out of the wonderful garden area which my daughter loves. They do such a variety of activities including recently having bees and beekeepers come in! The food is
well balanced, nutritious and always devoured by my daughter! The team are very supportive and friendly, helping parents as well as the children through difficult periods. My daughter has progressed extremely well and will be well ready to start school in September.

We have been sending our son to Fennies Nursery Walton since April 2022 and our daughter will join him in January. We’ve been really impressed with our experience so far - the staff are great and really take the time to build a relationship with your child, the activities they get up to are fantastic
and the communication is really good. We’ve got lots of friends in the area with little ones at similar ages and no other nursery seems to compare. We’d definitely recommend it.

We were quite anxious sending our little boy to nursery for the first time at only 9 months old. He is now 14 months and to say that we're thrilled with Fennies Walton is an understatement! The staff are just brilliant; they're all really experienced and well trained, have so much energy and truly care
about the children. The facilities are fantastic - our boy is really active and the garden is just amazing with so much space for him to run around! His development has come on so much since being there - we really couldn't be happier with Fennies Walton and highly recommend it to all!

Fennies and its team are absolutely superb and we feel our child is in the very best hands. She has been at the nursery since it opened and when she was 6 months old. She has thrived there and I think they give her the very best; be that nutrition, stimulation, resources and creativity. The staff are
so dedicated to their roles and love the children so much. The manager is also so approachable and transparent with the parents. Our child is so happy there and is joyous whenever we collect her. I would recommend Fennies to any parent needing nursery care.

My daughter attends Fennies Nursery Walton 4 days per week and has been there for a year, having moved from another nursery which was not as convenient for us location-wise.
My daughter is clearly very happy at Fennies and has bonded really well with every staff member who has cared for her. She goes
in/comes home with a big smile on her face, which is lovely to see. The facilities and particularly outdoor space are lovely and spacious. The activities each day seem be varied and well thought out. There are detailed reports with photos and updates about what the children have been up to each week.
From the perspective of a parent, I have been particularly impressed by the Manager and deputy manager. I feel like they really care about the families and the success of the nursery as a whole. They are professional yet warm.

What an amazing nursery, my little boy is so happy there and gets excited when he gets dropped off. All the staff are so welcoming, accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean and the garden is amazing for the kids to crawl/run around. The biggest plus is the security that’s given me peace of mind.

Two of our sons joined Fennies in January 2022. Our youngest started in the baby room when he was 15 months old and is now in preschool! Our middle son was nearly 3 and has recently started school. As a mother of 3, I have experienced many nurseries and none of them come close to the standard that Fennies
have set. All the staff in the rooms are incredibly attentive, engaging and loving towards the children. The senior management are incredible and so hands-on. The nursery just keeps improving. The manager is always looking at new ways to improve the facilities from PE, and Spanish lessons to beautiful art classes. Our boys settled in so quickly and love/loved going to nursery every day (even on weekends they ask to go!) It definitely feels like home away from home, especially with the live updates - we always feel connected and know what our children are doing. We absolutely love our Fennies family and are confident that our children are getting the best foundation for their future!

I couldn't be happier with our experience at Fennies - Walton. The caring and dedicated staff at this nursery go above and beyond to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment.

What I Love About My Career
One of my most fulfilling experiences was leading my Ofsted inspection at my previous setting. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our inspiring environment and the commitment of my incredible team. Seeing our hard work recognised was both validating and motivating.

Yasmin is fluent in English Sign Language, something she believes should be taught across education at a much wider level.


What helps you stay connected with all the nurseries and their staff?
Regular visits to maintain relationships whilst also planning events to engage with the staff and parents.


What’s the best part about your job?
Being able to connect with like-minded people who want the best for young people.


How do you go above and beyond to help support our parents?
Connect on a personal level to the parents, being a parent of a little one, it helps me be more relatable and understanding of any queries.
