Outdoor Owls Cobham and Minibus service

Discovering this nursery has been revolutionary. Our daughter has thrived splitting her time between an indoor nursery and an outdoor nursery. The team understand my daughter at such a deeper level than I have experienced at any other nursery. Her emotional and physical development has really developed with the nurture and care the team have given. Couldn't recommend enough!

We fell in love with Outdoor Owls as soon as we went to visit and fortunately our son has really thrived since starting there in March of this year. It wasn't the easiest to begin with, as with most kids when they start nursery, but the team couldn't have been more accommodating and supportive. Now, it's a struggle to get our son to leave at pick-up time, likely because of the energy and enthusiasm of all the team. We have a great relationship with all the teachers, who remain relentlessly positive come rain, wind, snow or shine, and have made it their mission to make our son as comfortable as possible. We've noticed a significant change in his demeanour, confidence and speech since he started and couldn't recommend Outdoor Owls more highly

It's been wonderful to see our daughter grow in confidence and independence, and to develop such a genuine appreciation for the natural world. She is happy (and often excited) to go off each morning, which speaks volumes about the warmth and positivity of the setting. Thank you to the whole team for nurturing our children so well and for doing what you do, we are eternally grateful! We can't wait for our son to start in a few months. We often say we wish we could come to OO too :)

My child has been attending the nursery for over a year now and he has thrived! He's come a long way in terms of his communication and physical delvelopment, I'm extremely grateful for the exceptional Educators who have helped my child achieve every major development smoothly. Amazing school l can recommend from the bottom of my heart. I fell in love in first opening day. That is the place and beautiful nature l grew up and my son is the same love outdoor area. He can burn his energy by doing lots of different activities. Teachers are so nice. I do have full respect what they do for them, every day is different. Thank you!

We absolutely love Outdoor Owls, the team is the best I have seen and we went to check many nurseries before we decided to apply for this one. We are very happy with everything, from the cool outdoor activities to the minibus adventures that they have every time. I wouldn't consider any other nursery than for my daughter.

Outdoor owls is a fabulous place to send your child to. It is everything I could have hoped for and more. Crucially my daughter feels safe and happy there. She has learned so much and her development has been amazing. The team are very caring and loving. We get very detailed reports which clearly show how well they know our little one. I love knowing that every day she goes she is outside in the fresh air and developing her physical and emotional skills. Please don't let your fears about weather/cold winter days put you off. You get plenty of information on what to dress them in with suggested links for clothing outlets. She also loves her mini bus journeys there and back. Conventional nurseries will also not have as many male staff working there which, for me, is an added bonus. I strongly encourage Outdoor Owls and a visit to see the magic of the forest for yourself!

We have spent three years paying absolute top fees at the most expensive nursery in Wandsworth. I just wish we had joined Outdoor Owls sooner. It is, hands down, the most magical childcare experience I have seen not just in London, but elsewhere too. The staff are all fully engaged, active, empathetic, and proactively role models. The curriculum is carefully and thoughtfully laid out. The outdoors and physical activities are second to none. I noticed such positive changes in my daughter in just a few months, more positive self-talk, way more physically confident and outgoing, and every single day she's happy and grubby and tired and talks about the fun she's had. Don't let the fully outdoors bit put you off, the kids are perfectly kitted out and the teachers are on it. There are also sensible contingency plans for really bad weather. I finally feel zero mum guilt about childcare, and that's priceless.

Our daughter loves to go to Outdoor Owls! We are so happy to send her to a nursery where she gets so much nature and outdoor time with a good education. She barely ever gets sick anymore in comparison to her old indoor nursery which is a huge bonus for us all. Highly recommended.

During the two years our son spent at Outdoor Owls, he had so much fun, made so many friends and learnt a lot. All the educators were amazing and the best part was the daily updates. And we enjoyed the drop-offs and pick-ups which meant we could sneak a little walk through the forest. Sending our son to a forest nursery was the best decision we ever made.

I'll be so sad when he has to leave to go to school in September but I'll be sure to take him back for holiday camps!

My son was with Outdoor Owls Cobham for 15 months in the nursery school and I cannot recommend this experience enough! The staff have a great grasp of how to nurture little ones' social, emotional and cognitive development and the forest setting and nature-based activities help to foster physical and mental resilience and an understanding and love for the planet, and its plants and animals. The children develop empathy as they interact with critters. The setting doesn't prevent the staff from teaching the children what they need to know to prepare for school, including working together in groups, raising theirs hands, starting to explore language and maths concepts, etc all enabled by the outdoor classroom. I always found that the children seemed content, stimulated and happy when I visited Outdoor Owls and I never wanted to leave to go to work! Thank goodness there are holiday camps so my son can continue playing in the woods on his school breaks.

Couldn't recommend this nursery more!

Our daughter finished at Outdoor Owls in August after just over two wonderful years in the forest. We couldn't have asked for a better place for her to spend her pre-school years. The level of care and engagement from the staff was second to none. All the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy spending their days in the forest with the children; they are engaged, imaginative, kind and caring. Annie just loved all the adults in camp, they supported her through any struggles and were her biggest cheerleaders through her successes. Our daughter's confidence grew immensely during her time at the nursery, both physically and emotionally, and thanks to the outdoor setting she experienced very few sick days. Since starting school we've been really able to appreciate how much her love of the outdoors and wildlife has been cemented into her personality, thanks to her time at Outdoor Owls. We could not recommend the nursery enough and hope it continues to grow!
