Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is situated on the site of Nuffield Health’s Fitness and Well-being gym on Medway Valley leisure park. It offers childcare and early education to children aged 3 months to 5 years. This new site has a separate baby unit for up to 2 year old children. The Toddler and Pre-school room share the larger room. The Nursery will open from 8am to 6pm.

The Nursery vision is to provide a “Healthy start for your little ones”, through a safe, warm and stimulating environment for all children to play, learn and develop freely, creating independent and confident children. The nursery champions health, to give every child the best start in life.

The nurturing staff go above and beyond to enable each child to develop in all areas and reach their potential. Once your child attends Pre-school, they can participate in swimming pool sessions, where they can gain confidence in the water through the Duckling programme.

Nuffy Bear Medway benefits from an enclosed outdoor garden, newly refurbished Nursery with new resources, home cooked food, free gym membership with every full time Nursery place, 10% sibling discount and £100 to £250 off your nursery invoice when recommending a friend. Once their child starts attending the nursery, the discount will be deducted from your next invoice. Children aged 3 years old will be offered swimming lessons each week.

Our daughter started at Nuffy Bear Nursery in April 2025, just after turning two, and we couldn't be happier.


All of the Nuffy team are so warm, caring and attentive. They really went above and beyond to help her settle in. We're so grateful for the support and regular development updates, and the

added swimming and fitness classes when she turns 3 are such a great bonus which she is already very excited about!


Our daughter's confidence and development have come on so much since joining, and we feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery.

My child enjoys coming in to nursery very much and talks fondly of the team even when not there. I feel confident leaving them and known that they will have a fun day ahead.
I would appreciate a bit more consistency in information provided in the app I.e activities done, food given etc.

It is an absolutely lovely nursery that gave me peace of mind as a mom and my kids absolutely love it there. They especially enjoy going to the garden to play with the bicycles and their friends.. no regrets whatsoever!!

The staff at Nuffy Bear are wonderful. I found it difficult leaving my son and they have supported me very well and communication has been excellent. The app is great to check in on the day.

This is the best nursery so far. What makes it outstanding is the teachers and the love and warmth they give to my child as if he is going home away from home.
When your child spends majority of his time of the day in the nursery, you expect it to be a natural transition for him/her.
My son looks
forward to going in and gets all the love, care and attention from the teachers not just from baby room, but from toddler room too.
The teachers are so caring, go over beyond. They helped my son in helping him in self feeding , walking and along the biggest milestone.
My lil one started when he was 9months old.
Can be daunting if at those early years they are away from parents, but it felt home away from home and truly so grateful.
Big Thanks to 3 staff members in particular for being the most amazing teachers and all others the list can go on.

Transitioning our daughter to a new nursery felt daunting after her childminder closed, but Nuffy Bears has been a wonderful experience. As a first-time mum, I was nervous about finding the right nursery, but Nuffy Bear Nursery in Medway has been amazing. From our first visit, the friendly and professional staff put me at ease, and my 1-year-old loves going there. The nursery is warm and welcoming, with great activities that support

I cannot recommend Nuffy Bear enough! My youngest daughter started in September last year in the baby room and settled so much faster than I expected. The staff are so lovely and she adores them, she actually asks to go in when we are at swimming lessons at the weekend. One big difference between
Nuffy Bear and my elder daughter's nursery is staff retention. Our youngest daughter has had the same staff in the baby room since she started which I think is so important when they are settling in.


The setting itself is new, modern, clean and well thought out with a lovely garden area. Whilst our youngest daughter is too young at the moment, the swimming and exercise classes that the older children get to take part in are a real differentiator with other nurseries in the area.


We are so happy that our youngest daughter is getting such a wonderful experience of nursery and would highly recommend this to other parents.

My son started 9 months ago and has been in the baby and toddler room. Since joining I haven't had a bad word to say about the staff or any experience we have had. The staff are excellent and show a genuine care for the children. I'm extremely happy to send my son every day.
The staff communicate
well and really friendly at drop off and pick up.
Moving from London I didn't think we would get the same quality of care and education but it's just as good. Highly recommended.

I am so happy that we managed to get a space for our daughter at Nuffy Bear, Medway. Her key people and the whole team have been amazing! They have supported my daughter through her transition from baby room to toddlers and she has learnt so much during her time there. My daughter loves her nursery

My daughter has been with the nursery since March 2024 so we are only a few months in but so far I would 100%recommend the nursery to other parents. I was so worried about leaving my daughter at a nursery but the staff were so good at reassuring me and updating me on her progress. They really took their
time and helped her to settle in. I love it when I pick her up I get full updates and I can see her playing and enjoying her time. They are very honest and tell you if she is having a good or bad day which is nice to know you're always getting updated with the truth and not just what they think you would like to hear. The staff are so friendly and professional it's what made our decision to chose Nuffy Bears.

Nuffy Bear Day Nursery have been nothing short of amazing since our son started there aged 9 months. His development has come on an incredible amount from the engaging interactions the staff give him on a constant basis. He had a medical emergency during his time at nursery and the staff could not have

My son has been with the nursery since 2022 and he is very happy there. The staff are so friendly and caring; they are good at welcoming my son at drop-offs and giving me sufficient updates during pick-ups. I also feel like my son is receiving the right level of attention when he is there which gives
me peace of mind at drop offs especially with his speech delay.
The only thing I’d say is it would be nice to get more child-specific updates through the app during the day in real-time; whenever I have received updates via the app on what my son is getting up to, it is usually on his day off! So it would be nice to see those updates much more closer to real-time.
Overall, lovely clean good nursery and I would 100% recommend! Preschoolers also get to attend swimming which is a great addition.

My son has been enrolled in Nuffy Bear Medway for eight months now, and in that time we have watched him grow and flourish leaps and bounds! He started just four months after breaking his femur which caused a delay in his physical development, but with the help of the amazing staff he is now confidently
walking! We have also seen a huge difference in his communication, language and motor skills, with him coming home each day having learnt something new. The staff are very professional and friendly, and I feel so confident leaving him in their care, as I can tell how much he is cared for by all of them. My son is at a stage where he is very shy in other environments but he always lights up with a smile when we walk in each morning. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to all of my friends and family.
