Kindred St Ives Nursery and Pre-school

St. Ives Kindred nurseries is a great place for both of my children. My daughter will be soon finishing her 3 years with nursery which helped her to grow into the lovely smiling kid she is. She runs to the nursery practitioners each morning where she is welcomed with a warm hug and can't wait to jump between her peers to get immersed in the day's play and activities. My little boy enjoys his time in the nursery even though I suspect him eyeing the practitioners with his cheeky looks and smiles. He has plenty of space and encouragement to grow into a wonderful boy. Thank you to the entire team of St. Ives Kindred you have been a huge help and support on our growing path.

daughter was smiling every day when she arrived at nursery and was always so happy to see the staff. My daughter just started eating solids and seemed to enjoy all the delicious homemade food given to her daily. I saw first hand how every day the staff would wipe down and clean everything so thoroughly. I cannot recommend this nursery and staff enough and am very sad to be leaving due to our move abroad.

We are very happy to send our child to Kindred St Ives Day Nursery. She started full-time in December after transferring from a different setting. We noticed a massive positive difference in our child just a few days after starting. The staff are very nice and helpful and very experienced, we get lots of updates via the app on her learning and we really feel involved. The setting is lovely and spacious indoors and outdoors and the activities and room division is very age appropriate. The menus are very well balanced and appropriate. Our child loves going to nursery and we feel very happy and comfortable sending her here.

I first enrolled my eldest daughter at Roundabout (now Kindred) in September 2018, she was a very anxious toddler who didn’t like being away from me.

From the very beginning, the team at Kindred were fantastic. They allowed my daughter to grow at her own speed, surrounded by fun, love and support. They nurtured her, and did everything possible to prepare her for school.

My second daughter is now with the team and is benefitting from the excellent care, learning and freedom Kindred offers every child.

The introduction of the parent app has been brilliant, I really love being able to see my little girl enjoying herself.

I would not hesitate to recommend the team at Kindred, I am truly grateful for the role they have, and still do play in my daughters’ development.

Ours son absolutely loves going to nursery! His key worker is amazing and knows our son very well - he adores her. We get detailed feedback upon collection. We are incredibly pleased with the new app, where we receive information about our son’s progress and we particularly love seeing pictures of him.

We have recently moved to the St Ives branch from another nursery. The staff have been excellent in the transition of moving my little girl over and the start of nursery for my little boy. They have made us feel very welcome and relaxed with the transition. My little girl, who would get very upset about the old nursery, now runs into her room and really enjoys coming!

My son has been at Kindred St Ives for nearly 9 months and has really settled in well. He is looked after really well and always appears to have had a great day. The staff are very friendly and give you the level of update/detail required. The nursery is managed exceptionally well and the communication is excellent. It was recommended to me by 2 other people and I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending it to others. The attention to detail as well by some of the staff is remarkable, remembering my name as well as my son's and not just calling me mummy!

My daughter has attended the St Ives nursery for nearly a year, full time for the last 4 months. She has flourished and loves attending every day. The staff rotate toys and activities daily to keep her engaged as well as doing lots of singing and dancing which she loves. Communication was a bit of an issue but they have now introduced an app which will be fantastic once they start utilising it more regularly. I loved seeing a photo of my daughter drawing with chalk part way through a tough day at work, it really lifted my spirits.

I have two children who attend this nursery and it’s the most fantastic setting, with wonderful management and staff!

The detail to attention to the rooms, the care and attention of the staff and the learning and development that my children have in the setting is second to none!

I have two extremely happy children who are thriving at the nursery!

The secret garden and outside spaces for all ages are a big bonus! So glad to have found the nursery and been using it for over two years! Have recommended it to many many people!

Very happy to have found this nursery for my youngest. The staff, without exception, have always been very welcoming and approachable. The nursery itself is bright, and engaging and my son has thrived since starting here. Honest daily feedback is always given, and every child is seen as an individual. Communication is good between transitions of rooms. The nursery are extremely flexible when it comes to nursery hours as often my work hours change therefore my son's hours need to change, and there is never a question. The manager is the core of the nursery and she makes it what it is. I am never in any doubt that my son is left in extremely capable hands who show as much dedication to him as I would at home.
